Tennessee mosque site fire an arson, feds sayA fire last weekend at the construction site of a future mosque in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, has been determined to be arson, a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives spokesman said Friday. Lab reports indicate that accelerants were used to start and spread the fire, which destroyed an earth mover and damaged three other vehicles at the future site of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, ATF spokesman Eric Kehn said. There are no suspects in the arson, which occurred early Saturday morning, Kehn said. The investigation is ongoing and the ATF and FBI are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect or suspects, authorities said at a Friday press conference at the construction site. "Somebody here in Rutherford County knows what happened here," said Keith Moses, an FBI assistant special agent based in Nashville, at the press conference, which featured representatives from the Islamic center. "Whether or not we have a civil rights hate crime will be determined once we have a suspect or suspects and a motive," Moses said. The FBI, ATF, and Rutherford County Sheriff's Office are conducting an ongoing investigation. Federal authorities and members of the Islamic center had suspected that the fire was intentionally set. "We were expecting to hear it but in the back of our minds we were hoping for the best, that it was some kind of electrical fire," Camie Ayash, a spokeswoman for the Islamic center, told CNN on Friday. "It ingrained into our heads that this is definitely arson and that somebody did intentionally go out and do this." The Islamic center's board has decided to hire private security for the site, Ayash said, after the contractor for the project suggested it. She expects a private security firm to start monitoring the site after hours beginning next week. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office has stepped up patrols of the site since the fire, driving by about every 30 minutes, she said. The blaze has "really raised the fear factor" among area Muslims, Ayash told CNN earlier this week. "We see the different type of fear with our children," she told CNN's "American Morning." "It is very hard to explain to children what is going on. It is hard to explain to the little kids when they ask you, 'Mommy, are these people for us or against us?' " A candlelight vigil, organized by Middle Tennesseans for Religious Freedom in response to the fire, drew about 100 people to the Rutherford County Courthouse on Monday night. The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro has existed in the Murfreesboro area for more than a decade, according to its website, and currently meets about a mile from the site of the future mosque. The congregation purchased a 15-acre plot in 2009 and announced plans for a center that will include a mosque, educational facilities, a gym, cemetery and various recreational areas, including tracks, pavilions and a playground. The project has provoked controversy in Murfreesboro, about 35 miles southeast of Nashville, and statewide. In July, several hundred opponents of the mosque staged a march against the project. Some objected to Islam itself, carrying signs like "MOSQUE LEADERS SUPPORT KILLING CONVERTS," while others opposed the project for environmental reasons. Last month, Tennessee Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey publicly criticized the project. "You could even argue whether being a Muslim is actually a religion, or is it a nationality, way of life, a cult, whatever you want to call it," Ramsey, then a candidate for Tennessee governor, said at a rally. Ramsey placed third in Tennessee's Republican primaries last month. |

thank you Jerry for sharing the Ghandi quote. i totally agree. and thanks too all other commentors who are TRULY Godlike in their abilities to have an open mind and loving heart towards ALL of Gods people.
I bet some fools here are going to claim that this was obviously the work of Muslim terrorists...
thank you Jerry for sharing the Ghandi quote. i totally agree. and thanks too all other commentore who are TRULY Godlike in their abilities to have an open mind and loving heart towards ALL of Gods people.
WELL WELL THE MUDSLIMS FEEL THREATENED NOW THAT SOMEBODY BURNT DOWN THEIR BUILDING,IMAGINE THAT.I GUESS WE AMERICANS DON'T FEEL SO SAFE IN YOUR COUNTRY EITHER.
"...we Americans don't feel so safe in your country either."
This IS their country, so I guess that statement is probably true.
David, Muslim is a religion, not a race or a country.
You seem a mite confused there. Thought I'd point that out to you.
David, are you saying you are doing the same dirty tricks with innocent peaceful tax paying lawabiding citizens of the USA who happen to have a different religion? You are an idiot. This will hurt you more that them. America is not about this behavior. People look up to this country in many ways but because of people like you and many other idiots here, we are losing our status in the world.
Learn them and accept them as different people of faith. Don't treat them like we treated German, Mexicans, Japanese, Native Americans. We know we are guilty in many areas but we don't say it.
Come on, don't spread poison and hate around here. We are already going down with our leaders and policies and economy etc.
"Muslim" is not a religion, but the name of a man or woman that practices the religion Islam.
David I don't blame you for being afraid, most non-progressive racist bigots are afraid.
WELL WELL THE MUDSLIMS FEEL THREATENED NOW THAT SOMEBODY BURNT DOWN THEIR BUILDING,IMAGINE THAT.I GUESS WE AMERICANS DON'T FEEL SO SAFE IN YOUR COUNTRY EITHER.
Obvious troll is obvious. But,
1. Since when is a bulldozer a building?
2. What country do Muslims come from, exactly?
3. Who was your English teacher, and who gave him/her a degree? They obviously forgot to tell you that all caps makes you look dumber than your terrible grammar ever could.
Isam means "peace" so that is evil? Educate yourself before you hate..
A "MUSLIM" is someone who sumbits there will to GOD..Do you submit your will to GOD or the devil? Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is a descendant of Prophet Abraham(PBUH). ISLAM is the only NON-CHRISTIAN religion that believes in JESUS(PBUH)..Jesus is a respected Prophet. Jesus also refered to GOD as ALLAH..Muslim also believe in the secong coming of Jesus, heaven & hell, day of judgement...THe Quran is in it's orginal lanugauge Arabic & still original text, meaning it been the same since it was written century ago..Who wrote the Bible, it's been edited rewritten, omissions & English is only 900 yr old.You lose alot in translation....WOW MUSLIMS & CHRISTIAN HAVE ALOT IN COMMON BUT HATERS ONLY THE DIFFERENCE...Good Luck on the Day of Judgement:) PEACE..PS. MUSLIMs Citizens in the U.S. didn't commit 9/11, so why are you taking your anger out on your fellow Amercians, great why to create more hate..so sorry 4 u...
Keep your evil Islam out of America.
I can't tell if this is real or a parody.
So from now on every time a muslim is a victim of a crime, it's a publicity stunt by someone?
Philly, keep your evil christ away from my good Christ. I'd rather have 100000 Muslims around me than someone who claims to be Christian and behaves like this.
Absolutely correct. Let them all go back to their Third World hellholes!!
Absolutely correct. Let them all go back to their Third World hellholes!!
10 Thumbs up!
Jim, they're American. You want to kick them out of America and send them back to America? I'm lost.
Philly- Idiots like you need a Islam 101 Class. Let me know when you want to get together so that I can give you a Crash Course...
Peace is Evil? Ignorance is your bliss..educate before you hate...
I 100% agree. They're strategically building these extravagant mosques in locations near every US city, even if no, or very little muslum live there. Where's the $ coming from? This would seem to be a great plan, with all the key locations, to unleash some type of warfare on down the road. I don't care what the "peaceful" muslums say, for there's plenty of radicals that have infiltrated & they desire nothing more than to destroy America. This is just a total failure of Homeland Security.
Wouldn't that happen if they're left alone in their countries first?
Look at what happened in Iraq... 90% of the posts are hating, but did you guys think for a sec about the fatalities in Iraq? more than 1.3M lost their lives... the country is totally destroyed that it can never see safety and security in a million years... ANY COMMENTS???
The same story is starting over in Afghanistan, WHY?
Every single islamic country has a big as hell embassy, a military base and a torture camp, WHY?
CAN ANY ONE WITH A BRAIN, KNOWLEDGE AND A LITTLE COMMON SENSE REPLY?
Leave them alone first, then I'll assure you won't see anyone of them laundring this country...
Sad
i guess trailer trash can't get along with anyone other than trailer trash...
@jibril: muslims wash themselves 5 times a day for prayers.. including our feet.. therefore our feet are cleaner than your entire body... so.. go F yourself.
such hypocrisy amongst "Christians"..Is this rily wat JESUS wud do???
Christians are the worst when it comes to tolerance.
Probably not but he would have proper spelling and grammar..
Sonie would like Jesus to "turn the other cheek" so she can be a good Islamist and cut off his head
Actually, Muslims would embrace Jesus...read up on Islam. Muslims believe in Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and others as profits and believe that Jesus will return and unite Muslims and Christians. I know there's a lot of hate being spewed but a little education on religions before spewing such nonsense would go a long way.
I personally watched around a hundred local muslims in murfreesboro town square demonstrating in support of a terrorist organization. If I were a local I would assume a significant protion of the local muslim population condoned terrorist acts even if they didn't give material support or martyrs.
If YOU lived in downtown muslimville in BFE you'd have to confess generally that the absolute last thing YOU would be doing is run around the town square with signs supporting America's military policies with regards to Afghanistan and Iraq no matter how strongly youfelt about it, unless you'd ALREADY bought a coffin and a mop to fill it with whatever they could find that was left of you.
Ok so lets say some yokel torched a backhoe and it wasn't an insurance fraud that's getting whitewashed as a hate crime. My question is...why were they out begging for it in the first place?
Just plain stupid.
Why does this not surprise me?
I guess it was located too close to the Grand Ole Opry...
LOL!! oh wait ....
Yeah, that's sacred ground ya know.
Actually it is about 30 miles south. And if you want to talk about bigetry look at the entries in this blog. No evidence in and already you all have determined that it was a hate crime. If the investigation shows that this was faulty equipment or just some kids out parting and thinking it would be cool (not the first time it would have happened) will you all be posting apologies. By the way I live in Murfreesboro and am a Christian.
@Dee- To be fair, we are all commenting to an article that states the authorities have determined it was arson. That is why people are assuming arson. Now, there could be other reasons behind the arson, that is true. However, I think you have to be a bit fair here- what is the most likely reason? This doesn't mean every Christian in the area is evil and anti-Muslim. It could be the work of some lone nutjob, or group of them. You want to prove these people are not indicative of all Christians- spend more time demanding the authorities find those responsible and less time being an apologist.
The onion basically hits the nail on the head of the American sentiment towards Muslims in a recent article:
http://www.theonion.com/articles/man-already-knows-everything-he-needs-to-know-abou,17990/
Oh my, that's funny. And sad. And funny. And truly sad.
The Onion has an uncanny way of putting things into perspective.
Thanks for sharing this. I've posted the link on another news site that has an article about the arson.
As a Pakistani Aerican Muslim I thank you.
I saw around a hundred local muslim in the murfreesboro town square demonstrating in support of a terrorist organization. I was there from out of state working IT projects for some law firms. If I lived there I would assume a significant percentage of the local muslim population at least condoned terrorist acts whether or not they provided material support or martyrs.
Intolerance at it's best. It's spreading quickly by small mind Christian folks who profess to love the Constitution but have no clue what it says.
TillyT, you're only joking I hope? Sick joke then.
The feds have islamaphobes within their ranks in high numbers. They want to limit hate crime accusations by Muslims, so they call this arson. There are a lot of old timers from the 70's or 80's that have not caught on to diversity. They helped create islamaphobia and they need to answer questions about the imam that was killed. Apparantly, bitten up by their attack dog.
Citation please.
Then I guess due to all the global brutality by muslims we can call them westophobes or America-ophobes too?
I'd like a citation too. Not the least of which is because law enforcement canines are NOT trained to bite ANYWHERE near a potentially lethal location.
So, supply a citation or your claim is rejected on all counts.
We need to retire all the Feds and appoint peace-loving Muslims in their place to guard this country
I heard the Imam tried to bite the dog first – the dog acted in self-defense
Arson is still a crime, and if motivated by racial or other prejudice, is then a hate crime.
Do ANY of you seriously believe that any of this over-hyped religious nonsense will really lead to anything beneficial or worthwhile for you or those you care about?
Each person has their own beliefs, and each belief is as valid as the next....it doesn't matter what you call it – god, yahweh, jehovah, allah, mohammed, jesus, your conscious, or fred...or whether you believe in an all powerful deity figure or not:
what DOES matter is the relationship you have with that deity, or the way in which your belief or disbelief affects your life and your future.
Meh, they probably started it themselves for the publicity
Gee, I wonder if they would destroy their entire project for a little publicity, or it was some intolerant redneck idiot(s) in Tennessee committing arson.
You should go to Tennessee and tell that. Do you know where it is at ???
A rusty bulldozer is their entire project ? Must be an art project....
Probably neither...
hmm Tennessee.......Driven right by the State park they got there dedicated to Nathan Bedford Forrest....First leader of the KKK, you figure it out......
TillyT, your racism is quite obvious.
why would they burn down their own project for "publicity". I suppose one racist will be quick to defend the other racists as you do
Seems obvious that you have not kept up with the news over the last few decades. Vandalism by those who claim to be victims is rather a common thing, especially among those who wish to claim "racism".
Right. And blacks used to hang themselves for attention, right, "Thorrsman?"
wow! i used to believe that too about the blacks hanging themselves for attention..you mean it wasn't them hanging themselves? i think i figured this out shortly after my cousin revealed the knowledge and enlightenment of Santa Claus being fake, and that it's really your parents..glad i was 5 at my time of great enlightenment.
Far far more common is a majority population dismissing vandalism and abuse of minorities by claiming that the minorities had it coming or caused it themselves.
Nailed it.
Are you from another planet ?
In my belief system we're al from a different planet. That is to say we are all our own individual cosmos...
These days it's starting to feel like it.
If you asking muslims, my reply would be NO. I have same blood and body like you and also We love America like anybody else.
So I suppose the Jews baked themselves in ovens and black people lynched themselves? Nice rational thinking you got there buddy.
Very sad, Thorrsmann obviously dislikes Muslims. Either a very good Christian or supporter of Israel, to whom the victim is the guilty party.
We'll there have been crazier things that have happened. That being said I'm am not saying that's what they did... I'm just saying that people have done some crazy crap out there, we would never have even thought was possible. let's hope they get who ever is responsible for this.
Remember a few years ago when black churches were being burned down in the south?later they found that some of the churches were burned by black people.
Oh excuse me, I missed when this stopped being America.
Wasn't one of the core values of this country's creation religious tolerance, or was that my misinterpretation. This is sickening.
Only religious tolerance if your Christian or Jewish, silly!
Nick – being Jewish hasn't exactly been easy in the USA buddy. Maybe these days, but not so much historically. Read up on your history.
Actually, being Irish catholic was basically a crime when they began immigrating here. There were protests against them and their houses of worship were also blocked from being built. The Irish Catholics were tormented tremendously and had to fight for their freedoms in America. Sound familiar?
And it used to be that you had to be a particular kind of Christian to be considered acceptable. My mother used to tell me how rough it could sometimes be growing up Roman Catholic in a largely fundamentalist Christian south, in the early part of the 20th Century.
Now imagine being a person of no religious affiliation.
Orange, I've been thinking much the same thing.
I returned back to the US after being deployed for the war effort for nearly 5 years to find THIS BS going on!
It makes me want to turn around and leave. Only now I'm retired from the army, I don't have to defend this ignorant nonsense.
Orange, "Sickening" is the word alright. It's like turning over a log and finding a mass of squirming crawling ugly squishy things.
Actually the only accepted religion anymore is Atheist...
I think you misinterpreted "American freedom of religion" to mean "We'll lie down and let militant Islam take over this country" – sorry buddy, ain't gonna happen. This country kicked Nazi a$$ and we'll do the same for "Jihade azz" too
Being a christian hasn't exactly been easy in america either. For a country that was supposedly founded on religious freedom, it has not shown much tolerance.
So it took the feds an entire week to determine that 4 pieces of equipment covered in gasoline and one set on fire was officially arson.
This is what they require a college degree to be a Fed for?
CNN, are you going to report on the rumors that there are people from outside of TN coming down there and rabblerousing?
Just askin'
Are you actually suggesting CNN publish comments based on unsubstantiated rumors? There's really no need for that. There are probably already a dozen or more blogs doing exactly that.
@Jerry
Pam Gellar and Robert Spencer aren't really unsubstantiated. Given their prominence and activities nationwide, and the fact they raised Murfreesboro to begin with, they and others need to be investigated to determine their involvement, whether direct or through incitement.
Just sayin'
Kate, there is a BIG difference between "It LOOKS like arson" and getting lab work done to PROVE it's arson.
Some times what looks like accelerant burn marks can be oil contamination that is normal or even uneven paint application.
When the residue comes back with the proper hydrocarbon mix, it's KNOWN what fuel was used as an accelerant.
And at times, even what brand of fuel was used.
Rumors are NOT worthy of reporting. FACTS should be reported. Rumors are what is causing those who have loose screws to do such things.
@Wzrd1
OK, I'll grudgingly admit I'm wrong about the arson investigation ... but did you have to go spring my conspiracy theory trap before someone walked right into it so I could point out to them that's how the fundamentalists are doing it?
You know this is why no-one ever plays that game around you guys – you always figure it out too quick
Just ribbin'
Sorry for blowing that trap on ya. Too much time doing counterintelligence and reversing others PsyOps...
This site IS pushing a big red button on me though, their excuse for a filter REALLY ruins arguments of a legal nature regarding our founding documents, etc.
Before we investigate Pam Gellar and Robert Spencer , we need to investigate whether Saudi based radical Islamists are funding this and other high profile mosques to further their war on America.
Unbelievably, the Imam Fuisal is refusing to say where the $ 100m is going to come from – maybe from terror venture capitalists !
Jibril, you've got to be kidding me right? You're either super ignorant and have been living under a rock, or you are just outright a bigot. The funding from this mosque came form Prince Alwaleed bin-Talal, who is also the largest shareholder of Fox news network. How does that make you feel know your favorite source of news/entertainment is largely owned by the same person funding this mosque. Oh little man how little do you know...
@Sam
Not stated yet, the only thing anyone has said so far is that the Prince has supported Imam Rauf in other projects, the only connection between the Prince and Park51 has been insinuation. It's probable, yeah, but there's no actual proof he's funding this project to date.
Just correctin'
@Sam
Oh, and jibril is our pet troll who's been trying to be annoying on all threads this evening.
Just outin'
Inb4 the flame war.
@ BC Sapper ..it is you who is duped so far..
I guess this is Christ-like behavior. Much like burning churches in the 60's was.
Some folk are going to be shocked when they have to stand before God and give an account of their actions.
That's exactly right. Thanks for speaking up.
@Kevin
Isn't it amazing how many people forget that whole "final judgement" thing?
Just musin'
It's precisely actions like these that caused Mahatma Ghandi to observe, "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ."
Jerry, while Ghandi was not Christian, I am.
Regrettably, I agree completely with him.
As one friend of mine (and a devout Christian at that) put it, If Jesus is coming soon, we're all gonna have so serious explaining to do.
Ha! What God?
One of my biggest regrets is that all these religious nutjobs of all stripes won't actually get to experience the moment when they realise they had all been duped.
how do you even know they were Christians even if they do profess Christ ?
so, isn't bringing in the name of Christ whom they profess to believe in to pain them as evil the same thing as saying everyone who calls allah his god is a terrorist ?
Ha, ha! Now... who was again the ones that were tolerant? I so love this small little spiral of useless of hate and accusaitons that the US of A has managed to get itself into with the muslims XP
so lets all go burn down the lutheren churches after all it was formed in germany and we fought the germans in ww2,they were our enemy and committed the holocaust...why not right? its the same thing as banning muslim places of worship .
Welll when the twin towers were destroyed the muslims all over the world rejoiced, including muslims in dearborn michigan.... now lets burn down the mosques and see who rejoices... isnt it quran that teaches, an eye for an eye.... ?? ha ha ha
Right on! If and when the Muslims stop threatening and following through with their desire to "kill all infidels", I will stop in my desirer to do the same to the Muslims. The supposedly "good" Muslims and their leaders need to address and condemn their own for their atrocious behaviors. Until then, for every successful "infidel kill" a maoque needs to be desroyed.
@wasmuslim...totally agree and support your post. Too many mosques exist across the USA; too many for comfort. These places are nothing more than breeding grounds and places to plan terrorism against America. They all need to be burned to the ground. Remember 9/11 and how they planned all those attacks. Right here in the USA. Wake up America...there is real danger in our backyards.
Query: Do you REALLY want to start a war with 1BILLION+ people?
The answer is NO.
Why?
First, even WITH our technological advantages, it's a war we cannot afford to start, or finish. The devastation would be world wide. The cost in lives would be MULTIPLE BILLIONS.
Sherri, Jeff Kelly, and wasmuslim,
Doing what you suggest is not only idiotic, it's unamerican. We profess our values and morality. We need to live up to those values. Justice would dictate that those responsible should be found and tried in court. Burning all mosques because terrorist activities were planned in certain mosques is like burning all churches because abortion clinic bombings were planned in a few churches (if you don't believe this occurred, look it up). Morons!
Jeff, why do they need mosques to plan terror attacks? Wouldn't they just...ya know...do that at home or at a bar? Your logic is terrible.
I don't think CNN is even aware of is the fact that the day AFTER the fire, the very same site was shot at. Gotta love southern hospitality.
http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2010/aug/29/shots-fired-near-murfreesboro-mosque-site/
What goes around comes around...karma. Perhaps the muslims can now see how it feels to be on the receiving end of terror and threats of terror. Sometimes the lessons of life are hard ones. I trust the muslims who are the 'haters' are capable of learning from this act of fanaticism.
Yeah...Use the mosque to plan and meet. No one would ever think to look for them there, right?
A "spiral of hate" is not Christian or American – in the USA, every Muslim Mosque should be treated with respect just like our Churches, our Synagogues, our Temples, or any other place of worship. Most of our parents, grandparents, & great grandparents came to the USA for the freedom OF religion, or for the freedom FROM a particular religion...the blessing of America was that we could worship in peace – or choose not worship in peace – without fear from our govt or neighbors!
Jeff Kelly, are you admitting to crimes against Muslims??
Or are you just another useless American nutcase?
r u sure it wasn't incense?
Uh, Wasmuslim, Muslims all over the world did not rejoice after 9/11. There were a couple of images shown on American news of people in the Middle East celebrating. But since most people in America don't go any farther than Fox, MSNBC or CNN to get their news, they have no idea that the rest of the world mourned with us, including many, many people in Middle Eastern countries. Look to Current TV, Link TV, PBS, read books – don't just believe everything you're fed by the mainstream.
well gonzo that would be the opening for an end of times battle which is falling into place as we speak. Religion against religion and now with the restart of middle east talks these are just more steppingstones to set all the parts into motion.
Bravo!
I will repeat myself for these misinformed juveniles. When the Muslim religion CONDEMNS all the fundamentalist radical killings of "infidels", and recognizes that there are "other" religions in this world that "they" need to get along with, I will accept their religion as legitimate. All this blabber is meaningless and useless until you realize that the Muslims are a very patient and determined religion. Just imagine if the Catholic church acted as the mosques do in advancing this hate. The radical Muslims truly believe that all the virgins will be waiting for them. They have been indoctrinated since childhood.
I could care less if a thousand mosques were built. But if they don't accept the U.S. constitutional right of freedom of religion, GET OUT!
GonzoG – newsflash – they're already at war with us. The only thing we got going for us is that all their corrupt despotic leaders have been bought off by the Almightly Dollar.
Being muslim doesn't make you a terrorist you have to choose to be one and act as one, anyone could be a terrorist if they choose to be so why pinpoint a religion as a "terrorist", I've met alot of muslims and none of them are near to being a terrorist they live their lives daily to meet their own life expectations. So if you burn down a mosque, synagogues, churches and temples aren't you considered a terrorist because you are causing an act of terror or hate towards and individual, race or religion?
There is not one article today about this:
check it out, one of the investor of the ground zero mosque has given in the past money to a terrorist organisation:
http://www.myfoxny.com/dpp/news/local_news/manhattan/mosque-investors-donation-investigation-20100902
Lefties... none so blind as those who refuse to see. Let me know where you live... wouldn't take much to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge.
People in America have to understand that Al-Qaeda are the ones who caused 911 (not Islam.) Quit being ignorant and confusing the two. I thought that this was the land of tolerance and peace.
GonzoG
They War started a long time ago, it's just now coming home.
@GonzoG There are 2,200,000,000 Christians in the world. Both the Jews and the Atheists would fight the Muslims as well along side the Christians if it came down to it one day. The Muslims would be horribly outnumbered and under-advanced in weaponry.
"GonzoG

I am an Indian (non-muslim), and I would like to tell you Americans that you need to be very careful about the creeping Islamisation of your country.
India has been suffering from Islamic terrorism long before it hit America, and we have lost tens of thousands.
That your authorities are even considering building a mosque at ground zero is ridiculous and points to how naive (or sold out) they are.
At this rate, the muslims will repeatedly carry out terror attacks and then demand that a mosque be built at the site!
Before you know it, United States of America will become UEA...United Emirates of America.
I directly observed about a hundred local muslims in the town square of the Rutherford county seat demonstrating in support of a terrorist organization. I was travelling there working IT projects for local law firms. If I were a local I would assume the local muslim population gives a pass to terrorism whether or not they provided material support or martyrs, and I would be concerned.
@ GonzoG... I would love to go to war with th e1.7 billion people you propose here..the cost is diminitive compared to what will happen if the status quo continues..with less than 5 million dollars I, a single man of war would utterly defeat them and totally wipe them out without shedding a single drop of blood...I am sure that there would be fighting but the war would be their own doing amongst themselves..thus would my enemies fight against themselves...I would of course provoke these attacks, by just being me.. I would let my own good sweet words become the very terrorists that the terrorists would fear. They would fear greatly my words . they would stick their fingers in their ears and fight against those who receive my words and changed.. My words are very delicious and I have held them back in reserve for such a day and time as this...The clue is therefore not hatred but my good delicious and tasty words..all the hateful rhetoric is doing is antagonizing the situation and providing no real solution..
The Mosque arson is so very sad... It's like going back in time to they manner in which the "Jim Crow Laws" were used in the South on Black people... Besides the terrible cruelty to these Good people, it plays right into the hands of the Muslim radicals...
How much brain energy does it take to figure "That One Out!" It kinda fits in nicely with all this "Take Back America Republican Elitism..." Who's America? The one our white forefathers slaughtered the Native Americans for; or maybe so much of the America that 350 years of Black Slavery and Fifty years of Jim Crow Laws; The America that was built in the Black folk's backs.... And of course that all ties in so neatly to their little "Our God, and Our Jesus, whatever funny little sect of Christians (and I'm speaking of the "funny little sects", not the true Christians that try to walk in the steps of Christ. You know, Love Peace, Mercy, Love Your neighbor as you would yourself, helping the poor.... Jesus spoke a great deal about those things. I don't remember reading in the bible about about going around and poking ancient religion's with with a hot poker and deeming them a Cult, Mr. Shameless Lt. Gov. Ramsey!!!!!!! I bet You Hate Obama because he's a Black man!
