Perry's 'call' could shake up GOP field

By Jim Acosta and Erika Dimmler, CNN

Austin, TX (CNN) – For Republicans who are dissatisfied with the current presidential field for 2012, it could be divine intervention.

GOP insiders see Texas Governor Rick Perry as a potential game-changer. As his state's longest serving governor, the pro-business Perry appeals to both tea party activists and Christian conservatives, all with a Texas swagger.

At a press conference Monday, Perry confirmed what he recently told the Des Moines Register. He is feeling called by his faith and his friends to run.

"I don't ever get confused. I am a man of faith," he added.

The governor resisted the suggestion that his comments meant he is being called by God to jump into the GOP race.

"I don't ever get confused. I am a man of faith," he added – I don't care how faithful you are, I've met confused priests, pastors, and followers. Only God is perfect, even Jesus was mortal. So you're saying that Jesus can get confused, but you can't???

Americans, your forefathers did not die in battles so that their sons would cuss, get drunk and drugged or indulge in filth and their daughters would sell themselves to losers while scorning men. Not at all that. Wake up. You became sick by bashing Christianity, your long-standing only conscience. Villains hate what is good. You proved it.

You need to study up on the forefathers.... they were not nearly as religious as you believe.. but they were a heck of a lot smarter than you were...

As we "thu-mp" along with reviews, rational thinking, conclusions and reiteration to counter the millennia of false and flawed religious history and theology!!!–––

Beyond the Perrys of the world:

How much money would the following save the US taxpayers ?: a move to true morality!!!

    Saving 1.5 billion lost Muslims:
There never was and never will be any angels i.e. no Gabriel, no Islam and therefore no more koranic-driven acts of horror and terror

One trillion dollars over the next several years as the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan will end.

Eighteen billion dollars/yr to Pakistan will stop.

Four billion dollars/yr to Egypt will end.

American men, you are saturated with garbage entertainment too much. That's why you behave like teenagers forever. Someone is after you to destroy you and make you worthless. Stop listening to the woman of Babylon and turn back to God before it gets too late for everyone. Read Proverbs in OT Bible instead of watching your garbage TV forever.

American men, blame everything on your laziness. You hardly work at all and demand high pay. What a world! Lazy people become another's slaves in this planet. You know it well. What stupid descendants your forefathers died to protect in all those great wars!

American men should stop blaming politicians and start looking at their own lives. More than good politicians, America needs good, honost, honorable and hard-working men who don't fall into selfish boredom/pleasures and who rish their lives to provide for their women and children, although risking life for a non-virgin bride must be very hard.

A number of people that have written to respond to this article have spoken of the interpretation of the Bible, which is the number one problem in this present world as the Bible itself teaches us that no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation (2 Peter 1:20). Only few people (Matthew 7:14) are able to understand the Bible and as long as mankind remains separated from God, the Word of God will remain a mystery.

Mankind in his natural state is unable to understand the Bible and unable to receive the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Cor. 2:14).

There is a natural body and a spiritual body (1 Cor. 15:44). The only thing that separates the Natural body from the Spiritual body is the Baptism of Repentance (Mark 1:4). To repent means: to change spirits and to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan, whose spirit mankind is of (Luke 9:55), unto God (Acts 26:18). This is not an interpretation. Many people search the Bible for in them they think they have eternal life, but when we bring them the Scriptures they don’t believe us (John 5:38,39). Confused? There is no need to be confused any longer. For a better understanding of the mystery of God we invite you to read all the pages and articles of our website http://www.aworlddeceived.ca

So, before mankind will be able to understand the Word of God, mankind requires to be converted and transformed by God (not by any religion) and only then mankind is able to understand the Bible, as it is God (John 1:1).

All of the other pages and articles listed on our website explain how this whole world has been deceived as confirmed by the Word of God in Revelation 12:9. The Bible is true in all things and is the discerner of every thought and the intent of the heart (Hebrews 5:12).

The bible was written by men, edited by other men and it is a collection of stories...
Do you believe everything else you read that was written by men also??
You might was well quote Harry Potter instead.

I'd like to know what history books Oceanlight get's his/her "information" from? Also, Perry is not a man of God, Beatrice, he is a man of big business. A man of God would never leave the ill & elderly to fend for themselves, while he lives in a 10 grand per month mansion, payed for by the working class of Tx. I'm pretty certain it's not a good christian quality to tell people to kill themselves, RedLight! I don't know what denomination you belong to, but it's not 1 I'd want to visit! Duke One, a Perry/ Rubio ticket would be as "great" for America as a Bachman/Palin! These people shouldn't even be in the running, they are filled with as many questionable "facts" as Oceanlight!!

A bunch of lost souls are trying to turn their opinions about Christ into facts, but you head cases are imperfect and cant even tie your shoes correctly. Who in their right mind would believe anything you nut jobs have to say? Shoot yourself.

Atheist suck balls!! If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything. You cowards want to destroy the image of God, I think the chances of killing yourself are better! Get a life.

So, if we (atheists) stand for Freedom of Religion / Freedom FROM Religion, we stand for Freedom of Speech, we stand for equality under law for ALL...

We should be pretty safe from falling for the unsupported claims of religious zealots trying to impose their version of morality on the rest of society.

The image of God was destroyed a long time ago with religious biggotry, hatred, and irrational fears... but you guys STILL believe in the bible... we had nothing to do with that.

We have a life... it is the only one we're gonna have, so we make the most of it everyday, rather than waste time on superst itions and ceremonies.

      Have a good day Stopsign.

You are confused. There are people who believe everything they read and take it literally and there are people who think about what they read and question it.
You might want to look up the word "think" instead of just spitting out hatred.
