    No, you're wrong BB. And I certainly don't need any lessons from you in theology, by no means!
    I have One who is my teacher in all things, and His Spirit draws "red circles" around the errors of translations that appear on the scene, free-for- all and dime-a dozen these days...
    God NEVER said that Israel will "NEVER AGAIN" arise! That is the lie of satan himself... The Scriptures you quoted were spoken to Israel in time of their rebellion, and were pronounced punishment for those times. Anyone who reads those passages in contexts with others CAN SEE that.
    But here is something for YOU to check out, but somehow I perceive that you're not stranger to those Scriptures, but you have a problem with them. But since you boldly proclaimed what you found, I will do the same!

    "Since you were precious in My sight,
    You have been honored,
    And I have loved you;
    Therefore I will give men for you,
    And people for your life.
    Fear not, for I am with you;
    I will bring your descendants from the east,
    And gather you from the west;
    I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
    And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’
    Bring My sons from afar,
    And My daughters from the ends of the earth" (Isaiah 43)

    For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace,and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
    Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.
    The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory.
    You shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD will name.
    You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
    You shall no longer be termed Forsaken nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate;
    But you shall be called Hephzibah,[a] and your land Beulah for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.
    For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you;
    And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.
    I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night.
    You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent and give Him no rest till He establishes
    And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
    The LORD has sworn by His right hand and by the arm of His strength:

    Surely I will no longer give your grain as food for your enemies;
    And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine, for which you have labored.
    But those who have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD;
    Those who have brought it together shall drink it in My holy courts.” go through, go through the gates!
    Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway!
    Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!
    Indeed the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the world:
    Say to the daughter of Zion,

    " Surely your salvation is coming; behold, His reward is with Him,
    And His work before Him.’” And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of the LORD;
    And you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken. (Isaiah 43)
    AND THERE IS MORE!....to be continued....

    To be continued...

      To enlighten you more on the subject of Israel, God's people and their land, there is Isaiah 66 and Romans 10 and 11. If you are so interested in Israel non-existence, you should be interested what God says! After all man's opinion is as smoke in the wind... But what God says is FOREVER, and so it shall be!

    All of you need a serious reality check. Israel belongs to the Jewish People and always will/should.

      D, you said "Israel belongs to the Jewish People and always will/should" but you don't say always did, because before WW2 there was no such place as the country of Israel. So with the creation of a set place for all jews to go, the current people living there had to do what? just leave? or get the hell out NOW! eitherway, they are forced to relocate or fight for the land they were living on before. Now as far as true history, the jewish people have always lived in that general area but that is also where the @sseryian empire was, and the Hit!t!ties, and the Bablyonians, and the Egyptians....it has been a place of travel for thousands of years. The anciet city of Migeddo is the cross roads to the middle east, to Egypt, and to the west towards modern-day Turkey.... nearly all the jews in Israel were brought there, not lived there already...while the Paletsineans have been there now for well over 600 years – during the Ottoman empire they were there – during the turkish invasion into Romania with Vald the impaler as the defender, they were there! what is being missed here is that once these people lived in the cities together, before WW2 – and now, they live in separated homes with bullets flying over head! This is the result of theft, which may have been freely given if only asked. I can't imagine the Paletsineans would have shown hate after Hitler, not during that time anyway!

      Actually...there has always been a Jewish presence in what is now called Israel. For the most part, Jewish ppl lived in relative peace...whether it was under British rule, the Ottomans or even under such rulers as Saladin.

    • Entil'za

      "while the Paletsineans have been there now for well over 600 years"

      Sort of. The ppl we now call Palestinians have been there for a while, but the term Palestinian didn't really exist till this past century.

  5. Thinker23

    Back in 1949 there were about 75% of Jews and 25% Arabs among Israeli citizens. 63 years later there are about 75% Jews and 25% Arabs living in Israel as citizens. Somehow I do not see a trend indicating that the Jews will become a minority in their own state.

    November 2, 2011 at 5:59 am |
    • JohnQuest

      Thinker23, consider the following, the Jews maintain their majority via immigration, the Arabs via birthrate. It's not 75% and 25%, I believe the numbers are 50% and 46% (if you include the entire area). Given the deplorable conditions the Palestinians live under I am not certain how their birthrate has kept pace.

      November 2, 2011 at 9:11 am |
    • Joe from CT, not Lieberman

      Thinker, there used to be an old joke that said the Arab people fought for the PLO every night when they went to bed. Israeli Jews have one of the lowest birth rates in the world, while Israeli Arabs have one of the highest.

      They might become a minority in Israel, but they won't be a minority in Brooklyn NY.

      Reminds me of a joke:

      A rabbi walks into a bar with a frog on his shoulder. The bartender says, "That's neat! Where did you get it?" The frog says, "Brooklyn. They've got hundreds of them."

    Jews made themselves a majority by promoting Aliah.

    It seems to me that the Israeli plan was to keep the "peace" talks going until the Jews are a clear majority (over 50% total population). Once the Jews are the majority they can and probably will "Invite" the remaining Palestinians to become Full citizens of Israel. No need for a separate Palestinian State. Long term planning at is most diabolical. I cant see any other reason for the 40 years of "Peace" talks.

      maybe but what makes you think that the palestinians will want to be citizens of Israel isn't the whole conflict because they want israel to be palestine or am i mistaken

    A hundred years ago Jews were the minority in what is now Israel. It wasn't until after WWII that hordes of Jews from the US, and Europe invaded Palestine.

    • Bezalel

      Wrong. Even in 1900 Jews were a majority in Jerusalem. Read Mark Twain, he visited the middle east around that time and talked about what an empty wasteland the area was...until the Jews came in and planted trees and drained many malarial swamps...

      You give Jews piece of land, and even minimal resources, and they'll turn desert into fertile fields... When they leave the towns they built for themselves and their children, because their government wants to appease the Arabs, they, the Arabs, sack everything they left behind, and turn it into wasteland and garbage dump... No one can deny that's not so! Those facts speak for themselves...
      As for the question, will Jews become a minority in Israel? No Way! They have Someone looking after them mightier then multi-tudes of their enemies... They will never cease to be a nation, this fact is set in Stone!

      -– Yup, just like they did during the Holocaust. Yeah right.

      Actually Prism, Israel was not always a nation. For most of it's history it was two political ent'ities. And before that, it was a Confederation of Tribes, and when the tribes decided to have a king, and become a nation, the prophets opposed it : (Amos 5::2, "Fallen is Virgin Israel, never to rise again, deserted in her own land, with no one to lift her up.") You need to take a class in biblical history. Was it protecting her during the Babylonian exile ?

    The Jews use to have lots of kids, what happened. But the same thing is happening in the U.S. with whites.

      i have heard theories in the past of a worldwide steril problem amoungst men of european decent... i don't know anymore on this then that... but its a possible answer – however, religious rules if followed to the T can make it hard for devoted families to have kids due to the modern work day and stress involved. these are just ideas!

    As Yasser Arafat said, "the greatest weapon of the Paletsinean people is the womb of the Palestinean woman." You can't beat long-term demographic trends.

      Yeah, that's why they treat their women like animals, to use them to multiply themselves. Their cur-sed religion has made subhumans out of them!

      You wouldn't have to go back too many generations in this country to find the women dedicated to producing as many children as they could. Back then we called this being "of good frontier stock" and in accordance with the biblical imperative to "Be fruitful and multiply!"

      The difference is that when people in old days had many children , it's because their main source of livelihood was farming. And many children were a norm then, because they were welcomed help as the parents got older..... But you do know all that! Yet you fight tooth and nail to throw mud (mainly) at Christianity.
      If you are so dog-gone dense, that you can't see the difference between those crazed, wild eyed, hate filled muslims who use their women for breeding so they could overtake the world but treat them worse then their livestock, and compare them to Christians who peacefuly raise their families, trying to live godly lives in this corrupt world, ... if you can't see that there is a vast difference, you are truly so far gone that there is no remedy for your condition!...Somejhow I believe THAT IS the case!... Enough said!
