Billy Graham in 'good spirits' in hospital, spokesman says

By the CNN Wire Staff

(CNN) – Evangelist Billy Graham is in "good spirits" and resting comfortably in an Asheville, North Carolina, hospital Thursday, a day after he was admitted for evaluation and treatment of his lungs, a spokesman said.

Graham spent time reading the Bible and praying with his daughter, Gigi, Wednesday night, Graham spokesman A. Larry Ross said on Twitter.

When Graham - who turned 93 on November 7 - was admitted to Mission Hospital, "he was alert, smiling and waving at hospital staff," according to a statement from the hospital.

"While no date has been set for discharge, Mr. Graham is looking forward to returning home to spend the upcoming Christmas holidays with his family," the statement said.

Your soul is as dead as the death you are wishing on Rev. Graham,a sincere man of God blessed with 93 years of dedication to God. I think you will never see that rare age as your rotten soul is already festering and dead, corrupting your mind with your body not far behind.

Where is that dead soul of mine? Show me your soul.

Laughable always. Get off the high horse on your ridiculous dogma of fear and ignorance.

He should pray for God to heal him...who needs medical treatment? And, if he comes out alive, he'll thank God, with little or no regard for the doctors who treated him.

Why is he even in hospital? He should ask his supposedly all-powerful god to heal him instead, if he actually believes. LOL!

Why is this "holy man" in the hospital? Won't the god he worshiped, and prayed to, all his life, take care of him? Why does he fear death? Isn't this the ultimate goal of believers, to die and go to heaven and be with their "Saviour"? Doesn't being in a hospital, and using the latest life extending medical technology, defy the will of god? I'm a little confused. Can a believer explain this?

It's because people really know, way deep down, that it's all a lie and are terrified of the unknown while saying they know all about what happens after death.

why would they have to pray for him ? If their god has a plan, then this is it, and do they want the plan changed ? It something bad happens, (like a sin being committed), the THAT IS the plan. Or, is he too disorganized to make a good plan ? Or does the divine plan all go wrong ?
