The statistical studies from the nineteenth century and the three CCU studies on prayer are quite consistent with the fact that humanity is wasting a huge amount of time on a procedure that simply doesn’t work. Nonetheless, faith in prayer is so pervasive and deeply rooted, you can be sure believers will continue to devise future studies in a desperate effort to confirm their beliefs.~~~~~~

  2. stupid people believe what they don't understand because they don't read, or don't know how - which is worse?

I may be cruel, but you shall love me as God. In the word of God. Praise be to God. And all that mumbo jumbo. Thanks be to me for reminding you that even God hates you. So smile and remember, under his tyranny you will never be free! Quote any part of the Bible you like, it will make no difference. If you believe in God then the history of God is your basis for belief. How can one make claims to without full knowledge of? With full knowledge how is it that any believe unless they already harbor hatred for a great many? Answer – most have never read the Bible. Those who have made one of two choices – ratiionalize it and believe based on interpretations or deny it and not believe. What do you get from this?

President George H W Bush has said an atheist is not a patriot and should not be a citizen of our country. When you hear from the White House that you are useless, perhaps it is time to rethink your stupidity.

Oh yeah. It's real important when an idiot from texas tells you you're useless. It means something. No. Really. It does. It means even more when a piece of shit follower regurgitates the rantings of an idiot. For real. It's REALLY important. Those words of yours.

  4. ALS37

The problem with this piece was not about this mans beliefs, it was the how ALS was shown. ALS is most often not a disease you live over 10 years with and are that highly functioning. It is also not a disease of old men! ALS is a disease that most often kills in 3-7 years, age of DX can be as early as teens, people loose the ability to walk, talk and care for themselves much faster than this man. Shame on CNN for not pointing this out!

      William,

It's unfortunate that you are so filled with hatred. My prayer for you would be that you will be able to open your heart to others even in their failures and accept them as they are. That is something that we all should strive for and we will all fall short of achieving fully. Please know that there are people out there, people you do not know, that love you.

I wish you peace and happiness, William.

  7. stupid people believe what they don't understand because they don't read, or don't know how - which is worse?

Just some stuff to read that you base your life on. Thought it was important because it's from the Bible.

" Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property." (Leviticus 25:44-45)

I think i will make all of you my slaves. Oh and for any idea on how i will be treating you, refer to the book of Judges. I may be cruel, but you shall love me as God. In the word of God. Praise be to God. And all that mumbo jumbo. Thanks be to me for reminding you that even God hates you. So smile and remember, under his tyranny you will never be free! George H W Bush is President 41, George W Bush is 43. History has not yet made a determination on W. History may go on to show W as one of our best leaders.
