(CNN) - The Roman Catholic Church will announce next month the date when the late popes John Paul II and John XXIII will be canonized, Vatican Radio reported Wednesday.
The canonization dates for the two former pontiffs will be announced on September 30, the radio service reported, citing Cardinal Angelo Amato.
Pope Francis announced last month that his two 20th century predecessors would be declared saints.
John Paul was pope from 1978 until his death in 2005, drawing vast crowds as he crisscrossed the globe. The third-longest-serving pope in history, died at the age of 84 after suffering from Parkinson's disease, arthritis and other ailments for several years.
Pope John XXIII was famed for calling the Second Vatican Council in 1962, which ushered in great changes in the Roman Catholic Church's relationship with the modern world. He was pope from 1958 to 1963.
This priest can't wait:
THE ENTIRE QURAN CAN BE SUMMARIZED IN FOLLOWING VERESE:
WHO IS ALLAH THE ALMIGHTY
112:1 – Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One,
112:2 – Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).
112:3 – He begets not, nor was He begotten;
112:4 – And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.
20:8 – Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names.
3:85 – Say, "We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him."
2:285 – The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination."
2:256 – There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
If only that were all the Quran had said. Unfortunately the rest is a long and boring repeti.tion about non-believers burning in hell.
Those are the examples given to mankind to learn a lesson and do not follow their footsteps so that you can be saved. Actually the Quran is a guidance to live this earthly life, it can be used as we use laws of the land which gives us instructions like when to turn on red in a traffic light, the same way the Quran gives instructions how to live your earthly life and be success in hereafter.
Here is one example that I like to share with you and it is about Pharaoh that we all go Egypt to visit this historical places and we see the body of Pharaoh but most of the human does not learn what was his mistake and why he is a sign for the mankind till now and will be till the end:
11:96 – And We did certainly send Moses with Our signs and a clear authority
11:97 – Unto Pharaoh and his chiefs: but they followed the command of Pharaoh and the command of Pharaoh was no right (guide).
11:98 – He will precede his people on the Day of Resurrection and lead them into the Fire; and wretched is the place to which they are led.
11:99 – And they were followed in this [world] with a curse and on the Day of Resurrection. And wretched is the gift which is given.
11:100 – That is from the news of the cities, which We relate to you; of them, some are [still] standing and some are [as] a harvest [mowed down].
11:101 – And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. And they were not availed at all by their gods which they invoked other than Allah when there came the command of your Lord. And they did not increase them in other than ruin.
11:102 – And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe.
11:103 – Indeed in that is a sign for those who fear the punishment of the Hereafter. That is a Day for which the people will be collected, and that is a Day [which will be] witnessed.
11:104 – Nor shall We delay it but for a term appointed.
11:105 – The Day it comes no soul will speak except by His permission. And among them will be the wretched and the prosperous.
11:108 – And as for those who were [destined to be] prosperous, they will be in Paradise, abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will – a bestowal uninterrupted.
10:83 – But no one believed Moses, except [some] youths among his people, for fear of Pharaoh and his establishment that they would persecute them. And indeed, Pharaoh was haughty within the land, and indeed, he was of the transgressors
10:90 – And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims."
10:91 – (It was said to him): Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters?
10:92 – "This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou may be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!"
Pharaoh at the end believed in the Lord of Moses but he was told that its too late and his body will be kept as a sign for mankind but how many of us do we learn when we see his body is still preserved in Egypt???
People says that the Quran is the word of Muhammad, I say to them how would Mohammad (pbuh) know these stories if these were not coming from his (pbuh) Lord The Almighty?
I let people decide what to chose… as there is no compulsion in religion…

New International Version (NIV)
Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter,[a] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[b] will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[c] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[d] loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.
One more time – only for the eyes of sisters and brothers of Islam:
From the studies of Armstrong, Rushdie, Hirsi Ali, Richardson and Bayhaqi----–
The Five Steps To Deprogram 1400 Years of Islamic Myths:
( –The Steps take less than two minutes to finish- simply amazing, two minutes to bring peace and rationality to over one billion lost souls- Priceless!!!)
Are you ready?
Using "The 77 Branches of Islamic "faith" a collection compiled by Imam Bayhaqi as a starting point. In it, he explains the essential virtues that reflect true "faith" (iman) through related Qur’anic verses and Prophetic sayings." i.e. a nice summary of the Koran and Islamic beliefs.
The First Five of the 77 Branches:
"1. Belief in Allah"
aka as God, Yahweh, Zeus, Jehovah, Mother Nature, etc. should be added to your self-cleansing neurons.
"2. To believe that everything other than Allah was non-existent. Thereafter, Allah Most High created these things and subsequently they came into existence."
Evolution and the Big Bang or the "Gi-b G-nab" (when the universe starts to recycle) are more plausible and the "akas" for Allah should be included if you continue to be a "crea-tionist".
"3. To believe in the existence of angels."
A major item for neuron cleansing. Angels/de-vils are the mythical creations of ancient civilizations, e.g. Hitt-ites, to explain/define natural events, contacts with their gods, big birds, sudden winds, protectors during the dark nights, etc. No "pretty/ug-ly wingy thingies" ever visited or talked to Mohammed, Jesus, Mary or Joseph or Joe Smith. Today we would classify angels as f–airies and "tin–ker be-lls". Modern de-vils are classified as the de-mons of the de-mented.
"4. To believe that all the heavenly books that were sent to the different prophets are true. However, apart from the Quran, all other books are not valid anymore."
Another major item to delete. There are no books written in the spirit state of Heaven (if there is one) just as there are no angels to write/publish/distribute them. The Koran, OT, NT etc. are simply books written by humans for humans.
Prophets were invented by ancient scribes typically to keep the un-educated masses in line. Today we call them for-tune tellers.
Prophecies are also invali-dated by the natural/God/Allah gifts of Free Will and Future.
"5. To believe that all the prophets are true. However, we are commanded to follow the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings
be upon him) alone."
Mohammed spent thirty days "fasting" (the Ramadan legend) in a hot cave before his first contact with Allah aka God etc. via a "pretty wingy thingy". Common sense demands a neuron deletion of #5. #5 is also the major source of Islamic vi-olence i.e. turning Mohammed's "fast, hunger-driven" hallu-cinations into horrible reality for unbelievers.
Walk these Five Steps and we guarantee a complete recovery from your Islamic ways!!!!
Unfortunately, there are not many Muslim commentators/readers on this blog so the "two-minute" cure is not getting to those who need it. If you have a Muslim friend, send him a copy and help save the world.
Analogous steps are available at your request for deprogramming the myths of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Paganism..
When John Paul II is made a saint by default he becomes the Patron Saint of Child Abusers.
I can believe that as even today we are seeing problems. The lack of action to protect children was criminal. They even moved one Cardinal to Rome as the plan was to let him retire in the prison of the judges choice. Still denying the truth.
In many cases there are not evidence, only charges which makes whole catholic society look bad, of course if someone is really done that things to children should go to jail, but there is so many false talks about catholic priest, and no one is talking about things happened in synagogues; for example rabbi Elior Chen, Jerry Brauner,Lewis Brenner,Ephraim Bryks, Schlomo Carlebach etc...
If they designate one more person as a Saint before Mother Theresa, they have completely discredited themselves. Simple question: who did God's work here on earth; Mother Theresa beat them all hands down.
Is it a good idea for anyone to do God's work? Perhaps we should be encouraging God to do its own work. Maybe move out, get its own apartment.
i like that, especially from you! you would never cast a stone, knowing what you've done
Well, they'll stone ya when you're trying to be so good
They'll stone ya just a-like they said they would
They'll stone ya when you're tryin' to go home
Then they'll stone ya when you're there all alone
But I would not feel so all alone
Everybody must get stoned
You are offended because someone else actually gave specific steps and you didn't and I thanked the poster for at least saying something that was understandable? You poor baby. I don't work in IT; you do. If you cannot explain to someone else how to do something, it's your problem.
As I said, this place is a time-suck, and people like you make it a worthless space.
Uncommonly Senseless, you are the one who's being a complete ass here. You have not been the least bit helpful. You've done nothing but insult anyone who doesn't speak your jargon and snotty as the day is long. Fvck off.
Common, you claim this is a temporary block. I have not been able to post here for weeks.
I have yet to see an explanation of this from you, other than your insistence that one's access cannot be prohibited. That is obviously not the case, and if you were here several weeks ago, you saw the messages from Mr. Berg, the editor. How do you explain this?
How did you determine that to be "concrete?" You don't understand network topology, and certainly not the layers of the network. IP addresses have no relevance to MAC addresses.
You're asking for help. I have you very specific information. Yet you choose to listen to someone that's telling you to check whether you've got an IPv6 IP address?
Your router almost undeniably gives you an IPv4 address through DHCP. Consumer routers haven't been forced to make the jump. Odds are, your IP address starts with 10 or 192. These are private IP networks. Windows will assign you an IPv6 address by default, but it doesn't help you in ANY way. Also, non-routable. Your router, if wireless, is mostly set to channel 6, and I doubt you've changed it. Maybe it doesn't have a default name. And I trust you've changed the password on it (and I'm not referring to the password you set to access the network). Ever update the firmware on it? Most likely no.
I'd hardly call the other guy's advice concrete.
Want some place "concrete" to start in figuring out what your MAC and IP(s) are?
Press your start button. In the "run" box type "cmd" and press enter. Type the following:
Good luck figuring out the rest of whatever mess this other individual gets you into.
Common, when you say "reset everything" what are you talking about? Just because you know something about the issue doesn't mean everyone who doesn't is an idiot. Implying that everyone should know exactly what you are saying when you are speaking about a subject that isn't second nature to them and then being incensed when someone doesn't get it is hardly helpful.
I think he's saying you need to baptize your CPU. If it's Catholic you should be able just to sprinkle some water on it. Otherwise a full immersion is required. God Bless!
No, but you chose to insult me instead of listening. This is the root of all of your problems. Goodbye and good luck.
