Armed Christian militia pulls support for 'Burn a Quran' event

An armed Christian organization which had pledged to protect a Florida church as it holds "International Burn a Quran Day" withdrew its support from the event Wednesday, saying it "does not glorify God," according to a posting on its website.

Right Wing Extreme, which describes itself as a Christian conservative group, also said in the posting it is asking the Dove World Outreach Center, based in Gainesville, Florida, not to hold the event "for the reason that it may diminish the work of the Holy Spirit to witness to Muslims." The event is planned for the ninth anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks.

terrorism is just a joke this days.Nelson mendela was called as terrorist before and he was in the jail for more than 20 years but when he came out he got the noble prize for peace.terrorists are people not the religion itself is responsible.most of the terrorists comming out from where?they coming out from Afghanistan,Iraq and so on.why?because the lost everything in life.they aint fighting for God or islam.they doing this for themselves.and talking about 9/11,i used to believe it was probably al kayeda or laden but if you research on this issue(specially watch a video on you tube called Loose change made by non-muslims americans) there are hundreds of prove that it was an inside job.who knows bin laden is protected by america.

“Do you want to burn the Quran?”

If you want to burn the Quran I invite you to read it first.

Then it is your choice to proceed; You will figure out that:

You will be burning Adam and Noah, Abraham and Issac, Jacob and Josef, David and Salomon Moses and John….and all prophets and saints
You will be burning Jesus and his saint spirit ….
You will be burning Mary and her baby ….
You will be burning the Torah and the Bible ….

    Go ahead
Burn the light to satisfy your darkness….
Burn the love to satisfy your hatred….
Burn the peace to satisfy your anger….
Burn the compassion to satisfy your cruelty….
Burn the knowledge to satisfy your ignorance….

Do all the above in your heart only….
Oh wait; would you still have a heart after the above?! Would you be Christian or Jewish, would you be even human?!

The Quran won’t be affected of what you would do, because the creator said about it:
“Surely We have revealed the Reminder and We will most surely be its guardian.” 15-9

You would burn the papers of the Quran, but even by burning it, it will show light… to all man kind.

It will keep saying: “Their intention is to extinguish God's Light with their mouths: But GOD will complete His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).”61-9

And it will keep saying: “And the servants of the Beneficent God are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace!”25-63

One more time: (Kate skip the comment. You have absorbed it all.)

Recognizing the flaws, follies and frauds in the foundations of Islam, Judaism and Christianity by the "bowers" (Imam Rauf and Daisy Khan et al), "kneelers" and "pew peasants" will quickly converge these religions into some simple rules of life. No koran, bible, clerics, nuns, monks, imams, evangelicals, ayatollahs, rabbis, professors of religion or priests needed or desired. Ditto for houses and classes of "worthless worship" aka mosques, churches, basilicas, cathedrals, temples and synagogues.

If I did that, you'd miss me 😛

Your logic is flawed again, you know. Have you ever considered the origins of religion in the first place, before the Abrahamic ones came into the picture? An absence of religion creates a vacuum – and nature abhors vacuums (No offence to Dyson). You're far too idealistic about the end of religion in so many ways I fear.

The Quran counsels the use of deceit when dealing with non-Muslims. Mohammad instructed one of his followers to lie if he had to (in order to assassinate one of Mohammad's enemies). This set a precedent, and the principle was clear: If it helps Islam, it's okay to deceive non-Muslims. Read more about this principle here: Lying (Taqiyya and Kitman).

This instruction in the Quran has served Islamic goals very well through history. And it serves those goals today. On the DVD, Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West, you can watch real-life examples of Islamic leaders saying one thing in English for the Western press, and saying something entirely different to their own followers in Arabic a few days later.

Deceiving the enemy is always useful in war, and throughout history generals have used it. Islamic teachings consider Islam to be in a permanent state of war with the non-Islamic world until the whole world follows Shari'a law (read more about that here). All non-Muslims living in non-Islamic states are "enemies." So deceiving Westerners is totally acceptable because deceiving an enemy in a state of war is totally acceptable. It is encouraged if it can forward the goals of the spread of Islam.

And so we have the strange phenomenon covered by Steven Emerson in Terrorists Among Us, where organizations in America were ostensibly raising money for orphans, but really giving the money to terrorists. They deceived good-hearted Western non-Muslims into giving money to organizations that were actively killing Western non-Muslims.

As it says in the Quran, "War is deceit." This idea gives Islam a tremendous advantage over idea-collections that encourage indiscriminate truthfulness.

I think you may have your groups mixed up here. It was SunTzu in The Art of War who said something like "All warfare is based on deception." If it says the same in the Qur'an please list the appropriate sura. Same of the rest of you armchair Qur'an scholars, please list any sura you are paraphrasing or referring to so that we can double check for ourselves, OK?

I see a bunch of ignorant comments about Islam, from what I am reading I get the vibe that those people are sheltered and only look at things from one side that is all am going to say because I don't feel like arguing.

      @its wrong

Muslims cannot give clear answers if they can't read and write in the language being used. Your path lies in a different direction. Go to your teacher and ask what this means.

Allah (SWT) said that this is my book and i will take care of this book and no one can wrong with my book so we trust in Allah (SWT) and we are sure nothing will happen with our Book and if anything happen it will be the last of earth being.
ur a big evil in world how can u say that ur god beat our God as everyone know He was a messenger of our God to past humans the and our God created ur God and our past messenger so it is a not a good word that u used for Muslim people
before saying something first u have to think and have to get knowledge about it and first read the Holy Quran.
