In case you missed it: The man behind the mosque

Editor's note: CNN's Mohammed Jamjoom reports on Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf's recent US State Department sponsored trip to the Middle East where he faced relative obscurity.  Rauf is one of the people behind the Park51 Islamic center, the so called "Ground Zero Mosque."

No religious icons, markers or temples of any kind should be placed on, or near to ground zero.
It should be a memorial site like the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor.
The proposed Mosque is simply to inflame passion and hatred.
If it is built, it will be seen as a victory by radical muslims and spur them to continue thier quest to convert the rest of the world by force.

Nice video..... I would like to think that it is truthful and accurate, and sincere. We need to coexist on this planet.

I do find it hard to believe with some of the practices of Islam though.... And many people in America are a bit g*u*n shy on this..

      I am sure you understand....

      Peace to you....

And the solution? The Five Step Program to Deflaw Islam!!!!!
    A copy is attached:

Using "The 77 Branches of Islamic "faith" a collection compiled by Imam Bayhaqi as a starting point. In it, he explains the essential virtues that reflect true "faith" (iman) through related Qur’anic verses and Prophetic sayings." i.e. a nice summary of the Koran and Islamic beliefs.

    "1. Belief in Allah"

aka as God, Yahweh, Zeus, Jehovah, Mother Nature, etc. should be added to your cleansing neurons.

"2. To believe that everything other than Allah was non-existent. Thereafter, Allah Most High created these things and subsequently they came into existence."

Evolution and the Big Bang or the "Gi-b G-nab" (when the universe starts to recycle) are more plausible and the "akas" for Allah should be included if you continue to be a "crea-tionist".

"3. To believe in the existence of angels."

A major item for neuron cleansing. Angels/de-vils are the mythical creations of ancient civilizations, e.g. Hitt-ites, to explain/define natural events, contacts with their gods, big birds, sudden winds, protectors during the dark nights, etc.

No "pretty/ug-ly wingy thingies" ever visited or talked to Mohammed, Jesus, Mary or Joseph or Joe Smith. Today we would classify angels as f–airies and "tin–ker be-lls". Modern de-vils are classified as the de-mons of the de-mented.

"4. To believe that all the heavenly books that were sent to the different prophets are true. However, apart from the Quran, all other books are not valid anymore."

Another major item to delete. There are no books written in the spirit state of Heaven (if there is one) just as there are no angels to write/publish/distribute them. The Koran, OT, NT etc. are simply books written by humans for humans.
Prophets were invented by ancient scribes typically to keep the un-educated masses in line. Today we call them for-tune tellers.

Prophecies are also invali-dated by the natural/God/Allah gifts of Free Will and Future.

"5. To believe that all the prophets are true. However, we are commanded to follow the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) alone."

Mohammed spent thirty days fasting in a hot cave before his first contact with Allah aka God etc. via a "pretty wingy thingy". Common sense demands a neuron deletion of #5. #5 is also the major source of Islamic vi-olence i.e. turning Mohammed's "fast, hunger-driven" hallu-cinations into horrible reality for unbelievers.

Accept these five "cleansers" and we guarantee a complete recovery from your Islamic ways!!!!

I am not sure who is behind this mosque. I advise the American people to question the government and find out who is behind this mosque. I believe this is a trap for both American Muslims and American. I suggest that American public should walk up and question these Actions and who is really behind this.

So wonderful to have the Ambassador of Death jet-setting around the Mid-East on our dime. Oh yeah, and his wife, too. Watch out, though, if you criticize her she'll play the 'hate' card.

That mosque Is 100% WRONG! You people are FOOLS for building it there. This is America, So You have the right to private property, but seriously, WHY THERE?!? Have respect For the people who openly let you JOIN our FREE nation. How would you feel IF we were go over to Your nation, Blow up Your two of your main buildings, Then Build a big old Church Right beside it? It is a smack in the Face of Americans and IF you don't think so, Well I accuse you of being a Traitor. Mr One Big ass Mistake America, (OBAMA), supports the mosque yet He can't stand up for his Religion which he 'Claims' is A form of Christianity. I am a Believer in God, Not religious in one way, but the ACLU Attacks and bashes My Religion everyday, The Atheist, God Bless their idiotic Souls, won't even Allow us to have A CROSS AS A MARKER FOR A FALLEN STATE TROOPER because it has the State's name on it. Where is Obama On that one? Where is Obama When people get into trouble for praying in school, or WHAT Happened to Our National Day of Prayer. I Don't care WHO you THINK you are, But our Founders WE'RE CHRISTIANS. They were Believers. You can try to Prove me wrong all you want, I am a history nut, I have read Multiple books on The Founders. We left England Because they had a NATIONAL religion. Separation of Church and state Was to protect THE RELIGIONS from THE GOVERNMENT. everyone knew our Leaders were Christians, so they Made it impossible for them to FORCE their religion on anyone. It wasn't them Denying their faith, It was Religious Freedom. This Just down right makes me infuriated. You Idiots who think America was not founded through the Christian Faith Are completely dumb. I have never Seen so many attacks against the Main religion that started this country in all my life.

And the prize for most disjointed argument that manages to shoot itself down without anyone else even needing to try goes to ...

First you rail against Muslims for wanting to build a prayer space, then go after Obama for not being Christian enough for you, then in the run-on sentences point out that the United States was founded on the Christian Faith while at the same time point out why the Founding Fathers decreed the Establishment Clause.

      Just shakin' my head
