A national Muslim civil rights and advocacy group is calling on the FBI to investigate a message written in bacon at mosque in Florence.

Three chair members of the Islamic Center in Florence discovered the words "pig" and "chump" written in strips of bacon on the walkway along the mosque Sunday afternoon.

Christianity is a religion of hate, oppression and intolerance of all other religions or any one that does not think like them. Just ask a Muslim, Jew, Buddhist or especially a Non-Believer.

Christians do not fly planes into buildings, they do not behead or stone adulterers, and they do not bomb school-children, but Muslims do. I remember Muslims everywhere celebrating on 9-11. Even when Christians go to war, we go out of our way to avoid civilian casualties, even at the expense of our own troops' safety, while Muslims go out of their way to kill civilians. Muslims commit hundreds of terrorist attacks every day. Muslims are continually spewing hatred, ignorance and violence against anyone they deem "infidel." Christians do not riot and murder when someone insults Jesus or burns the bible, but Muslims do. Islamic extremism goes far deeper, and enjoys much more support in the Muslim community than anyone has been willing to acknowledge until recently. For too long, moderate Muslims have been making excuses for their violent bretheren. It is not enough for them to verbally condemn violence; they have to get rid of the people who are doing it. If they want to earn the trust of non-Muslims, they need to visibly root out the evil that is in their midst.

GPL2032 I think you are glorifying christian actions. Tons of horrible attrocitys have and still are being perpetrated all over the world in the name of Christianity.

I also have to chuckle about how Muslims spew hatred and Christians dont. You can't be serious?

Go ask someone walking into Planned Parent hood about Christian Hatred and intolerance.

You're obviously ignorant of history and current events. Muslims have a long and bloody history of conquest and aggression against "infidels." Just ask the families of those killed by suicide bombers and on 9/11.

The early Christians were persecuted by the Jews and pagan authorities of the Roman Empire. They were also persecuted by the atheist regime of the former Soviet Union and are currently persecuted by the atheist regime of China. This should dispel any false notions of secular tolerance.

You said, "'love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
      – Jesus, founder of Christianity'"

If the truth be known, Paul was the founder of Christianity.

This is a wonderful country and until Muslims proclaim their love for it and start living under our laws without any Imars influencing them, this sort of action will occur. Although it isn't right, there was no harm done and there will always be folks who do not-so-nice things to places of worship. So, I guess these folks have to take the good with the bad.

It is so wierd that they would use pork products.. Jesus was KOSHER and ate no pork products!! I hope they weren't followers of his..

    October 14, 2010 at 12:55 pm |
    • Geez

Thats because Jesus was Jewish... Jews arent followers of Christ. Christians have no problems with pork. Im trying to figure out your point... Plus who says it was a Christian. It could be an anti-religion follower.

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
In response, God gave his creations religion. Each culture had their own, each planet had hundreds. God figured it'd be an easy way for the creatures there to eliminate themselves and save him the trouble.

It's people like you that bring SIr Walter Raleigh's words home to me.

"Patriotism is a virtue of the vicious."

You really need to take a look at what makes the USA great. And get that Confederate Flag off your truck. It makes you look stupid.
