I find it very funny that Americans in their infinite wisdom scream about how islam is an intolerant religion and in the same breath commend the current treatment of muslims in their own country. Ironic no? hillbillies.

Why do people keep trying to provoke each other?? Jewish settlements going forward, even though stopping them could help bring peace. Crazy Christian pastors who want to burn a pile of Korans, Americans opposing the building of the NY cultural center, all that and someone goes and tosses bacon on a Mosque. Do you REALLY wonder why they're so mad at Americans these days? We $h1t all over them, and somehow expect them to lie down and take it. Maybe WE aren't getting the message, it's not nice to mess with other cultures and treat them that way. Maybe THATS why they are declaring jihad on insane American Christians, because of stunts like this. We've been doing it for decades, and it's one of the things that caused bin Laden to snap (remember he was a good buddy of the Reagan administration, who so gladly gave him a CIA education in order to repel the Russians out of Afghanistan) and turn against us. America, you are better than this. I'm a bloody Atheist and I know better than to stomp on someone's faith, and provoke bad reactions. This country is seriously backwards.

    Tracy

"GPL2032 I think you are glorifying christian actions. Tons of horrible attrocitys have and still are being perpetrated all over the world in the name of Christianity. "

Please list the atocities of Christians that rival the Muslims since 9/11?
How many Christians have conspired to kill our troops? How many Christians have tried to plant bombs in crowded places..please inform me? What Christian organizations support terrorism?

    October 14, 2010 at 1:35 pm |
    • Tracy

Yes there absolutely aren't any radical Christians...absolutely not @@ And of course ALL muslims support their radicals.

      Get a clue.

      Abortion doctors killed/clinic bombed
      Tim McVey
Not to mention the people killed in Iraq (which wasn't a muslim country)
      HItler (at least initially)
      The Crusaides

But apparently only "our troops" matter and anything Christians do is A-OK b/c they are Christian?

hitler was an occultist, as well as his inner circle, and the crusades were motivated by priests who didn't stick to the Bible at all

By the way, let me just say this. I'm shocked that the perpetrator can actually spell the word "pig" – also, did you know that pig is one of the most intelligent living creature around? Maybe you could have known before you used bacon if you even graduated from pre-K LOL.

You are grown adults. If a church was defaced, or a temple, you would be up in arms. But you are not, and you think it's a joke, because it happened to a Muslim congregation. You aren't followers of god, YOU are the heathens.

    October 14, 2010 at 1:34 pm |
    • The Baconator

Churches and temples are defaced/vandalized all the damn time and much worse than this, but it doesn't make the front page of CNN. This is a joke.
