Satanists' event in Oklahoma draws Christian protest

CNN affiliate KOCO reports on a Christian protest outside a Satanist group's event in downtown Oklahoma City (backstory here) : In downtown Oklahoma City, Satanists held a Ritual in public at the Civic Center. The ritual began at 8 p.m. Thursday and drew plenty of controversy. Before making it inside where the Satanists were practicing their religion, prayers were heard outside by groups opposing the ritual. Chiquita Carbajal said she is against the ritual. “No place for Satan in Oklahoma,” she said.

I can't help to think what might have happened, had we been giving the green light to go in after OBL. Religion is the culprit, not God or Satan. Christianity is a violent religion, let's be clear. God's only begotten son was tortured and murdered to fulfill a prophesy that blood must be shed and life taken to please God. And if you don't follow God or make a mistake and follow him the wrong way, you go to a horrific place of eternal torture and pain with no hope of it ever ending – and all this from a loving God! I'm sorry, but how far off is this from Satanism? Obviously the world is in a fight between "good" and "evil." But what is good and what is evil is defined based on who you ask. Even amongst Christians there are many factions and each claims the "truth" and the "good" and says the "their" beliefs are true but other Christians are false and they will be punished in hell for their mistake. According to Christians Gandhi is in hell right now, but Martin Luther, a killer, is in heaven. And the most popular translation of the Bible, The King James version, was written by a totally psychopathic maniac. Look up King James, he was one sick puppy. And let's not forget the inquisitions, etc. Sorry, but Satanists and Christians are two sides of the same coin.

He means God created all but Satan disobeyed God so he became bad and therefore man is to worship God the Creator of all but not to worship Satan.
Ah, it just shows the problem of the Christian Morality movement, in the United States: we want "freedom of religion", but only in regards to our own.
I wouldn't be surprised if these people weren't really Satanists, but political activists... It definitely shows the double-standards of the "compassionate" and "tolerant" Christians. This only proves that the Christrian Morality movement is more about oppressing other religious beliefs; I mean, you don't see "satanists" protesting, each and every time Christians meet, do you?
