Televangelist says he cheated on wifeA televangelist admitted in front of a television audience that he cheated on his wife, an announcement he made to thwart people he said were trying to extort millions of dollars from him. The Rev. Marcus Lamb made the confession Tuesday night on his show "Celebration" with his wife Joni Lamb by his side. The couple also displayed a special message about the incident on the website of Daystar Television Network, the couple's television network. "At the top of the program, the Lambs shared a compelling, transparent account of a personal challenge in their marriage that occurred several years ago, involving an inappropriate relationship between Marcus and another woman," the message said. The couple explained that there were three people who said they would expose the affair if the couple's ministry did not pay them $7.5 million. Daystar Television Network is based in Texas and airs some of the most popular evangelists in the nation, including T.D. Now let's see. Which Preachers have we not caught in adultery? There must be a few left!
I am saddened by this, but more about the coverup of it so they could keep the ministry. Is it really that hard to keep your freakin pants zipped up? As for the wife, she helped cover it up, so I feel no sympathy for her. Jerks
First of all, HE/SHE THAT IS WITHOUT SIN...LET THEM CAST THE FIRST STONE. I do NOT condone adultery of any kind. However, the beginning of this article stated that the affair occurred several years ago....HELLO! God is a forgiving and loving God. Man CANNOT put you in Heaven nor hell. As long as this televangelist confessed his sin to the Lord and his wife and asked for their forgiveness that is ALL that is required. The persons that allegedly tried to extort money from them committed a CRIME and, therefore, should be arrested and punished to the fullest extent of the law. It is time to pray!!! I pray that all parties involved will receive salvation, reconciliation and inner healing so that God will get the glory out of it all. Peace & blessings!!!!
I'm not sure why there are so many discussions about the existence of God regarding this story. God has nothing to do with it.
The man is an adulterer, he presents himself as holier and closer to God than the rest of us, he assumes a position of moral authority then uses that authority to sleep with a woman other than his wife.
He must be a conservative Republican. At least the Democrats don't claim the moral high ground while rutting through the lowlands like so many hypocritical Republicans do.

The bible warns against these types of so called preachers (TD Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Joel Olsteen and the like) read 2 Peter Chapter 2......this tells all!!!!!!
It is only a matter of time before the esteemed Rev. Marcus Lam doinks yet another fine young lamb from his flock! Oh the shallow drama!
Never understood why people choose to believe in fiction, there is no God only Zuul. But seriously, Christian's, Catholics, Muslims are the most hypocritical people to ever evolve out of the first of our kind. Once you guys are gone (hopefully Aliens take you away or that you are killed off), then maybe our world will be more tolerable, less violent and happier. History has shown and backed by empirical evidence, that organized religion and the mindless zombies (not all but most) who follow w/o thinking for themselves, are the most destructive, violent, intolerant, torturous, manipulative, and deceitful groups of people ever to plague the human race. That is all.

If he got caught boning one woman, that means he has probably boned at least 10 others he did not get caught with. Probably a couple dudes to would be my guess.

Funny how when this kind of stuff comes to light that it's seen as nothing more than ANOTHER test by "god" by those who are weak minded enough to need a crutch to get through daily life.

Since God is my Father, I have his seed (spirit) within myself. His spirit, within me, is my conscience and life guide. It is not our responsibility to judge this man or his wife. Each of us must evaluate ourselves internally. We must live, day to day, knowing what kind of person we really are. May peace be upon all and Merry Christmas.

Is it me or does televangelism and adultery seem to be incredibly commonplace? Nothing like a Pharisee.
