It's time for this pastor to come out of the closet. He is just wasting his time and energy trying to defend his actions which at the end will show him to be what he is. He cannot hide for the rest of his life from the facts. Even if he gets away this time but he will make the same mistake sooner or later and get caught again with his pants down. It's bound to happen.

What a comment..coming from someone. Seems like whenever a christian talks the truth a non-believer comes out and makes fun, or a joke. Tell you what...I'll believe in God and you believe in whatever big bang or whatever the-'ory of the day is and in the end we will see who is right.

      @ everyone in the world,

Amen..Amen...Amen. God is no joke he can and will bring people to their knees.

    Dealwithit said:
"Religion is not blind good sir. How else could good people steer a perfectly good jetliner into a building, hmm?"

That is the best comment I ever heard and I laughed very hard. Religion is blind because it can't judge correctly, nor can it do anything to aid society in progressing as ONE. Not even your Jesus can do that or your Muhammed. We are the only ones that can do it, but we choose not to because we keep looking outside ourselves for the answer when the answers have been here all along. It's US. The People of the World that need to get together and collectively bring peace, love, nurturing towards one another and this wonderful planet that an Intelligent Creator created and no that Creator was not Jesus. Religion has little to do with anything good. It's only used to answer what we don't know until we prove it wrong and trust me it's always usually wrong until Science shows the truth. Eddie Long, and the others, are just here to lead the blind with a blind instrument called the bible created by other blind men. It has led us no where and will continue to until we do away with it. Yes, we have a Creator, but it had very little to do with a book that has been used to kill thousands and mislead thousands over the centuries. Start looking within and know that we are all in this together and we have the intelligence to lead this world collectively to a very beautiful place; but will we? It's collectively our choice.

    • MikinAZ

Creator? Nonsense – we are here alone and need to take some FN responsibility for our existence and our actions – no great super powerful invisible guy is ever going to come save us from anything. if you were not so well written I would call you crazy, as it is you are unstable.

      January 30, 2011 at 11:57 am |
    • MikinAZ

Tho i do agree with the single sentence fragment you have (taken out of context – sorry) "The People of the World that need to get together and collectively bring peace, love, nurturing towards one another"

I am an atheist and although I do not believe in god, I recognize that the majority of religious people are not bad or harmful, and do not intend to be. And if I was a christian I would hope I would recognize that the majority of athiests are moral people who aren't trying to corrupt or spread evil. And do you know why I feel this way? Because I am not a pedantic child who feels the need to paint my opposition as domestic nazis in order to get my position across.

God is real. Give him a chance and He will change your life. This life is too short and the the human body/mind is too complex to not have a creator. I saw an angel in the ER and it changed my whole belief system because it was PROOF that God exists!

Matt – religious folk are harmful ,their beliefs stifle human progress and give sanctuary to rapists. They are tax exempt yet influence elections by voting on "faith". How can we allow these mentally challenged groups to dictate how others are allowed to live? where they are allowed to live? what we are allowed to do? why are they allowed to determine what is real and what is make believe?...they should not be allowed to vote with the real society out of questionable sanity...We should hold make believe elections for their make believe religions and give them make believe results so they can be happy in their make believe lives reading their make believe book. As for the one who commented about seeing an angel...JesusFNChrist – i just don't know what to say about that. Someone see something in the sky they can't explain and people call them crazy but see an angel in an ER and they are allowed to breed? something is out of balance here

      January 30, 2011 at 11:49 am |
    • MikinAZ

@Christian – just because you cannot wrap your head around science...does not automatically mean there is a super power creator in the sky (oh yeah – my bad – i forgot, invisible too) i bet you are part of a "flock" aren't you? That is a joke the pastors, reverends and priests have been playing on you for years...calling you their "flock" that is. Its because they consider you sheep...stupid animals who follow without question.

      @Matt & MikinAZ

I share many of your thoughts but think there is a practical middle ground between "we're all nice people, let's all get along" and "believers are all idiots, take away their right to vote" and that's for atheists to challenge, more and more, the silliness of the believers. To speak out more often, and to use their own words and practices to educate and embarrass them, much as we do here, but on a much broader and public scale. While there are a number of ways of doing that, I chose to do so by supporting the Richard Dawkins Foundation (richarddawkins.net).

      @ MikinAZ
You say: "How can we allow these mentally challenged groups to dictate how others are allowed to live?"

I say: Last I remember this is a demo-'cracy so if the majority of people don't want something...then it won't be. Second on your comment on the person who said they saw an angel....let me ask? Since you DON'T BELIEVE how can you say this person didn't. You don't have any proof in your beliefs other than your so called science book which was written by man...so that man could try to explain how we got here rather than reading the Bible...hint...the answers are all there.

You also want to tout the "flock" and make fun....whether your realize it or not your apart of a flock yourself...the wrong one at that...but your so called "flock" doesn't believe in God. My hope is that you will change your mind before its too late.

      @ Christain,

Don't worry about what people are saying to you...you are truly blessed to have had the experience you had. Hope your are using it as a witnessing to bring others to accept the Lord. For me I don't need any proof...God's book has been around for close to 6,000 years and this is fine enough for me.

You don't have any proof in your beliefs other than your so called word-of-god book which was written by man...so that man could try to explain how we got here rather than actually thinking for himself. Reading the bible is about as useful as reading bad fiction – there are no answers there at all.

Luther, Calvin, Joe Smith, Henry VIII, Wesley, Roger Williams, the Great “Babs” et al, founders of Christian-based religions or combination religions also suffered from the belief in/hallucinations of "pretty, wingie, thingie" visits and "prophecies" for profits analogous to the myths of Catholicism (resurrections, apparitions, ascensions and immacu-late co-nceptions).

Current problems with the followers of these founders:

Adu-lterous preachers, "propheteering/ profiteering" evangelicals like Osteen and Long and atonement theology,

I have seen this clown preach on television. He raised his right hand to show off the Rolex watch. A few minutes later he raised his left hand and there was another Rolex on his left hand. Religion in America is a mile wide and an inch deep. If Christ came to America today he would vomit at the sight of it.
