Atheists feel better over stupid things. When will they be educated properly? Never.

On April 5,2011, we were victims of a fire which completely destroyed our apt & all our possessions.
This included a Bible from St Peters basicalla, where she met the beatified Pope.
Despite our differences as to politics, I am certain the ' good ' Ted Turner would feel sad.
Please take care, Adam & Rita.

It's great to see CNN giving the beatification good amount of coverage! Otherwise, I don't think many people outside of the church would realize how huge of an event this is.

DetDan, Catholic priests saved a lot of humans including chiuldren all over the world. Your countrymen are not defined by the criminals from your town.

      Hello,

I was baptized by a Roman Catholic priest as an infant. This baptism is even valid, because every sacramental baptism comes directly from heaven and God himself is the invisible baptist. I claim this, although I am a strong opponent of papacy. By the way Dr. Martin Luther the great German Reformer also was baptized by a Catholic priest and never got baptized, again, although he rejected papacy. Regretably I have never heart the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic Church. It seems they think that baptism is all about Christianity for an ordinary child or man. However I got to know books of Luther and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, explaining the gospel very well and fully suficient even for simple minds. I refer back to my infant baptism (which is valid), but I have become a Protestant. You may read the book "The Cost of Discipleship" by Dietrich Bonhoeffer or the "Catechism" by Dr. Martin Luther.

      Wish you well,
      Rainer

Rainer... I'm not really sure what you are trying to say here. I get it that you are down on the Catholic Church... that much is clear. However... you state...

"Regretably I have never heart (Heard?) the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic Church. "

That must be because you have never gone to Mass at a Catholic Church. I'm sorry... and I mean no disrespect... but you seem to have no idea what the CC is all about, or what it is like. If you are a Lutheran... that's great. Be happy in your faith. But please don't disparage that which you have no knowledge of.

If you have not heard his word, admit to not praticing – how can you look down your nose at something you do not understand and try and sway anyone away from belief? Further – though Dr. Martin was a man – just like any other man – that practiced peace – I'm sorry, but he's just like you and I....... following the works of the God he believed in....

CNN is taking money for coverage. You would too if you were greedy and unprincipled.

The Catholic Church is united with more than 1 billion people on earth, and it is a huge event.
