Thanks for your write-up. One other thing is the fact that individual states have their unique laws in which affect householders, which makes it quite difficult for the our lawmakers to come up with a brand new set of recommendations concerning foreclosed on house owners. The problem is that a state provides own legislation which may have impact in an unfavorable manner in regards to foreclosure procedures.

May you ask your president not to support the tribe men and the opposition parties against the legitimate country ruler....allow him to do changes while on post until his period officially ends while marking a new presidency votes and elections....we do not want to start our new country system change with a coup against the our rulers at such shaken times world wide...obvious you are supporting the tribes since they are allies of the KSA who obviously is trying to turn the whole area of the Arabian Peninsular into becoming Royalists burying therefore the orphan Republic alive..by demanding the president to leave his ruling seat to so many ghosts who will fight over it to no end??
Why you are doing or encouraging this...it is you who should call upon youth to stay back and not be used and abused by those seeking every thing other than the good welfare of this country and population...
Assist him to secure law and order for the benefit of the majority who are staying back at their homes...those you see in demonstrations are people who came from extreme country boarders and mountains who are paid and financed to do all the mess in the cities of the real inhabitants....our cities people are being killed and robed by such those...America you are being used to pave roads for others to dominate on account of others unrest....America are you a republic or a royalist? Or are you still ruled by the British Crown?

Fate of Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh is unclear after attack on his compound
Government officials in Yemen say President Ali Abdullah Saleh survived the assault by tribal foes, but an opposition TV station says he was killed in the attack. As battles erupt around the capital, there is speculation he has been wounded.

    Quran Karem&Islam;
    ------
[5:48] Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance with GOD's revelations, and do not follow their wishes if they differ from the truth that came to you. For each of you, we have decreed laws and different rites. Had GOD willed, He could have made you one congregation. But He thus puts you to the test through the revelations He has given each of you. You shall compete in righteousness. To GOD is your final destiny – all of you – then He will inform you of everything you had disputed.

[5:49] You shall rule among them in accordance with GOD's revelations to you. Do not follow their wishes, and beware lest they divert you from some of GOD's revelations to you. If they turn away, then know that GOD wills to punish them for some of their sins. Indeed, many people are wicked.

[5:50] Is it the law of the days of ignorance that they seek to uphold? Whose law is better than GOD's for those who have attained certainty?
    ------–

[3:7] He sent down to you this scripture, containing straightforward verses – which cons-t-itute the essence of the scripture – as well as multiple-meaning or allegorical verses. Those who harbor doubts in their hearts will pursue the multiple-meaning verses to create confusion, and to extricate a certain meaning. None knows the true meaning thereof except GOD and those well founded in knowledge. They say, "We believe in this – all of it comes from our Lord." Only those who possess intelligence will take heed.

[3:8] "Our Lord, let not our hearts waver, now that You have guided us. Shower us with Your mercy; You are the Grantor.

[3:9] "Our Lord, You will surely gather the people on a day that is inevitable. GOD never breaks a promise."
    ------

[16:125] You shall invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and kind enlightenment, and debate with them in the best possible manner. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His path, and He knows best who are the guided ones.

(MUST READ) A Modern Culture of Insults
Some people are disposed to be rude and abrasive. They speak harsh words that show no strength of argument or evidence, but are full of insults and abuse.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Those who habitually curse will not be among the intercessors and witnesses on the Day of Judgment." [Sahîh Muslim]

Likewise, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "A believer is neither a habitual curser nor a habitual accuser. He is not vile nor is he obscene." [Sunan al-Tirmidhî]

Anyone who loves the Prophet (peace be upon him) and wishes to be gathered in his company on the Day of Judgment should follow his good example. This means that he should safeguard his tongue from uttering anything other than what is good. The Prophet's advice was that "…whoever believes in Allah and in the Last Day should say something good or remain silent." [Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim]

May Allah have mercy on a person who either says something good and earns a reward or keeps quiet and thereby remains safe.

There is nothing wrong with people disagreeing and arguing with each other, especially in these troubled and confusing times. However, the way to handle disagreements is with lucid arguments and temperate speech. A person's mode of discussion should show the purity of his intentions, the strength of his intellect, and the nobility of his character.

Believe me am not enjoying or happy about what has occurred to those fine people...we here in Yemen suffer the same and maybe more in deaths and distractions but manmade ones since Feb 2011 through demonstrations, civil strikes and now sparking fire for a civil war....check deaths in Sanaa ,in Taiz, in Zanzibar(Abyan)....our people suffer the same....and the only weapon we have to protect our selves other than worship and prayers for protection of our families and homes...
Let's us pray for each others...your disastor is over while ours still coming heavier if God has no mercy for us for one reason or another....

What ever your religious belief or lack there of please leave these people their grief they have been through enough. Stop debating religion using their tradegy. If believing in God helps them through less then let them be. Its decent thing to do.

@Ed – I AM respecting them. You don't see me driving over to Joplin and shouting at them, do you?
What makes you think they are reading everything everywhere? They don't even have homes. Why can't I speak here?
Who made you god of CNN? Nobody. There need to be rational discussions out of their hearing, and where do we go if not some blog somewhere? How can we have free speech if we aren't allowed to discuss and debate the underlying questions of what happens in this world?
They have my sympathy. I am not attacking the people personally. But if they go into a place where their fraudulent beliefs are questioned freely, then it is their problem, not the problem of people who were having a discussion about it all.
We are just talking. This is a free discussion. If you want overly-concerned religious-themed discussion, go to a religious website and talk on their blog. We aren't allowed there. Why don't you take all the Joplin people with you to protect their massively sensitive feelings as they cope with what the universe has done to them?
We are free here. You don't like it, you can always go elsewhere. Go to a christian website where they block all atheist comments.
That's what you want, isn't it? Why can't you and anyone from Joplin do the same? Or just don't read the comment section.
How hard is that? Where will you stop with your unrealistic viewpoint on this? What kind of line do you want to draw?
Whatever your reply, is it one of those that can show you to be a hypocrite? Because complaining about people talking who didn't invite you or Joplinites is probably going to go in that untenable direction.
You restrict freedom just to swaddle distant people who didn't ask you for you to stick your nose in their business, and expect us to respect your busy-body agenda. Well, who put you in charge of their feelings anyway?
But have a nice day, Ed. And look out for the universe. It's a dangerous place, full of harsh truths about ourselves.

@Zeb This is the belief blog. As for the folfs in Joplin not having homes thinks for that comment I'm sure any of the with laptops, tablets, or smartphone apprecieated you rant. There are several storys on this blog use those to debate your opinons. This story is about peope going through some really hard times. I don't know if any of them are reading your remarks or not. I hope not because its just for lack of a better term mean. I fail to understand why you ned to tirade about your opinon on this story. Leave this people the grief. Tirade on the next story. This is not a religious point of view but just a decent person point of view. If it were you you would not appreciate your comments.

@Ed – I am not mocking their pain or their tragic circu-mstances. So where is the problem here? They have my sympathy. Why is that not enough for you? Why do you think any discussion about their religious beliefs is untouchable? It isn't and never should be. This isn't a fcking nursery, Ed. We don't have to keep quiet "just in case they hear us".
This is a blog where articles about different beliefs are discussed. If all you want is like-minded people, then GO TO A WEBSITE WHERE ONLY YOUR IGNORANT SORT IS ALLOWED.
Some of us would like to comment. I am not mocking their pain, only their religion. Religion is bullshlt I have a right to say that somewhere on the internet. I choose to say it here. This is my free speech. If you can't see that and respect my rights, then to hell with you. You suck at being an American that respects other people's freedoms.
You and the people of Joplin are not guaranteed a pain-free life. You are not guaranteed a life free from opposition.
      You are not guaranteed ANYTHING.
Now try to argue again. You dare to oppose facts? Then you have lost before you have begun. There are times when this is just effortless on my part. The facts speak for themselves. Your delusional protestations do not work with me.

@Zeb I fail to see what I said that was ignorant I did not even ask for religious compassion only human diccency something you seem unable to understand. If this was your home or family you would not want arrogant jerks like you using it to debate faith. If I attend a funeral for a atheist family I don't dicuss God with them I tell them I am sorry for there loss and ask if I can help. I leave the discussion of God for another time. You should be able to do the same here. In either case I done with you here because your forcing me to do exactly what I'm sayinfg we should stop doing. Please grow up.

I have a friend down in Joplin and she says that the devastation and sense of loss is all pervasive, She's only been down there a short while and didn't lose any family member or anyone directly in her social network. So given how SHE feels, one can just imagine how those people feel for whom Joplin has been their home all their lives and/or who lost loved ones.

      God never wronged the people.
      ------
[3:117] The example of their accomplishments in this life is like a violent wind that hits the harvest of people who have wronged their souls, and wipes it out. GOD never wronged them; it is they who wronged themselves.
      ---–
[9:70] Have they not learned anything from the previous generations; the people of Noah, `Aad, Thamood, the people of Abraham, the dwellers of Midyan, and the evildoers (of Sodom and Gomorrah)? Their messengers went to them with clear proofs. GOD never wronged them; they are the ones who wronged their own souls.
      -----
[10:44] GOD never wrongs the people; it is the people who wrong their own souls.
      ---–
[16:33] Are they waiting for the angels to come to them, or until your Lord's judgment comes to pass? Those before them did the same thing. GOD is not the One who wronged them; they are the ones who wronged their own souls.

[16:34] They have incurred the consequences of their evil works, and the very things they ridiculed came back to haunt them.
      -----
[16:118] For the Jews, we prohibited what we narrated to you previously. It was not us who wronged them; they are the ones who wronged their own souls.
      -----
[29:40] All those disbelievers were doomed as a consequence of their sins. Some of them we annihilated by violent winds, some were annihilated by the quake, some we caused the earth to swallow, and some we drowned. GOD is not the One who wronged them; it is they who wronged their own souls.
      -----
[30:9] Have they not roamed the earth and noted the consequences for those who preceded them? They used to be more powerful, more prosperous, and more productive on earth. Their messengers went to them with clear signs. Consequently, GOD was not the One who wronged them; they are the ones who wronged their own souls.

[30:10] The consequences for those who committed evil had to be evil. That is because they rejected GOD's revelations, and ridiculed them.

As it seems it is that the country which is not being destroyed by civil wars or conflicts are being destroyed by Natrual Disasters....and vice versa...!!!
    But one thing is clear;
[55:0] In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

    [55:1] The Most Gracious.

    [55:2] Teacher of the Quran.

[55:3] Creator of the human beings.

[55:4] He taught them how to distinguish.

[55:5] The sun and the moon are perfectly calculated.

[55:6] The stars and the trees prostrate.

[55:7] He constructed the sky and established the law.

[55:8] You shall not transgress the law.

[55:9] You shall establish justice; do not violate the law.

[55:10] He created the earth for all creatures.

[55:11] In it there are fruits, and date palms with their h-anging fruit.

[55:12] Also grains and the sp-ice-s.

[55:13] (O humans and jinns,) which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?

[55:14] He created the human from aged clay, like the potter's clay.

[55:15] And created the jinns from bla-zing fire.

[55:16] (O humans and jinns,) which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?

      @Reality
"One thing is clearer than all:
Gabriel never existed!!!!!! No Gabriel, no communiques from heaven and therefore Islam has no foundation!!! And the life of Muslims is a farce!!!"

You seem, (and are obviously), OBSESSED with that, ("ONE THING is clearer than all"). Who gives a rip about a Gabriel" ? It's MYTHOLOGY man. You are acting as "fundamentalistic" as the fundamentalists. Singling out this one element of their system is as invalid as quoting one "verse", out of context. The whole structure of these belief systems does not fall, or become invalid, just because one element seems implausible to you, (which it certainly does), (and as it certainly does to me).
The Greek mythological system is not invalid because, as we all know, there was no Athena. No it IS valid in it's historical and cultural context. The problem is that it's understood literally. (and simplistically) be SOME. "Albusus non tolit usum", ("Abuse does not invalidate use"), is a principle I once learned.

"No Gabriel, no communiques from heaven and therefore Islam has no foundation!!! And the life of Muslims is a farce!!!"

Your astounding assertion that the lives of billions of Muslims are a "farce", is remarkably disrespectful, and your inability to empathize may speak more about your own life than it does about the billions of real, actual, genuine, loving Muslim people all over the world. I assure you that the lives of my next door Muslim neighbors, who graciously entertained my family for dinner last night, is anything but "farcical".

      Insecure in Bel-Air,

      For your close perusal:

      Saving Muslims is quite easy!!!

The Five Steps To Deprogram 1400 Years of Islamic Myths:

( –The Steps take less than two minutes to finish- simply amazing, two minutes to bring peace and rationality to over one billion lost souls- Priceless!!!)

      Are you ready?

Using "The 77 Branches of Islamic "faith" a collection compiled by Imam Bayhaqi as a starting point. In it, he explains the essential virtues that reflect true "faith" (iman) through related Qur’anic verses and Prophetic sayings." i.e. a nice summary of the Koran and Islamic beliefs.

The First Five of the 77 Branches:

      "1. Belief in Allah"

aka as God, Yahweh, Zeus, Jehovah, Mother Nature, etc. should be added to your cleansing neurons.

"2. To believe that everything other than Allah was non-existent. Thereafter, Allah Most High created these things and subsequently they came into existence."

Evolution and the Big Bang or the "Gi-b G-nab" (when the universe starts to recycle) are more plausible and the "akas" for Allah should be included if you continue to be a "crea-tionist".

"3. To believe in the existence of angels."

A major item for neuron cleansing. Angels/de-vils are the mythical creations of ancient civilizations, e.g. Hitt-ites, to explain/define natural events, contacts with their gods, big birds, sudden winds, protectors during the dark nights, etc. No "pretty/ug-ly wingy thingies" ever visited or talked to Mohammed, Jesus, Mary or Joseph or Joe Smith. Today we would classify angels as f–airies and "tin–ker be-lls". Modern de-vils are classified as the de-mons of the de-mented.

"4. To believe that all the heavenly books that were sent to the different prophets are true. However, apart from the Quran, all other books are not valid anymore."

Another major item to delete. There are no books written in the spirit state of Heaven (if there is one) just as there are no angels to write/publish/distribute them. The Koran, OT, NT etc. are simply books written by humans for humans.

Prophets were invented by ancient scribes typically to keep the un-educated masses in line. Today we call them for-tune tellers.

Prophecies are also invali-dated by the natural/God/Allah gifts of Free Will and Future.

"5. To believe that all the prophets are true. However, we are commanded to follow the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) alone."

Mohammed spent thirty days "fasting" (the Ramadan legend) in a hot cave before his first contact with Allah aka God etc. via a "pretty wingy thingy". Common sense demands a neuron deletion of #5. #5 is also the major source of Islamic vi-olence i.e. turning Mohammed's "fast, hunger-driven" hallu-cinations into horrible reality for unbelievers.
Walk these Five Steps and we guarantee a complete recovery from your Islamic ways!!!!

Unfortunately, there are not many Muslim commentators/readers on this blog so the "two-minute" cure is not getting to those who need it. If you have a Muslim friend, send him a copy and help save the world.

Analogous steps are available at your request for deprogramming the myths of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Paganism..

Your fantastic assumption that they need or want "deprogramming" is amazing.
If and when they want a "two minute cure" such as your repeated knee jerk "two minute cut and paste" which I have seen WAY too many times, (and not found worth commenting on), I am sure they are perfectly capable of making themselves appointments at your office, doctor.

      Insecure,

The koran and bible have been "thum-ped upon us" for centuries. It will probably take at least that much time to deprogam all the myths and embellishments found in these books. So "Project Deprogramming" will continue. I suggest you continue to use your scroll bar to skip said deprogramming.

[36:5] This revelation is from the Almighty, Most Merciful.

[36:6] To warn people whose parents were never warned, and therefore, they are unaware.

[36:7] It has been predetermined that most of them do not believe.

[36:8] For we place around their necks shackles, up to their chins. Consequently, they become locked in their disbelief.

[36:9] And we place a barrier in front of them, and a barrier behind them, and thus, we veil them; they cannot see.

[36:10] It is the same whether you warn them or not, they cannot believe.*

[36:11] You will be heeded only by those who uphold this message, and reverence the Most Gracious – even when alone in their privacy. Give them good news of forgiveness and a generous recompense.

[36:12] We will certainly revive the dead, and we have recorded everything they have done in this life, as well as the consequences that continue after their death. Everything we have counted in a profound record.
      -----
[36:45] Yet, when they are told, "Learn from your past, to work righteousness for your future, that you may attain mercy,"

[36:46] No matter what kind of proof is given to them from their Lord, they consistently disregard it.
      -----
[36:69] What we taught him (the messenger) was not poetry, nor is he (a poet). This is but a formidable proof, and a profound Quran.

[36:70] To preach to those who are alive, and to expose the disbelievers.
      -----
[36:74] They set up beside GOD other gods, perhaps they can be of help to them!

[36:75] On the contrary, they cannot help them; they end up serving them as devoted soldiers.

[36:76] Therefore, do not be saddened by their utterances. We are fully aware of everything they conceal and everything they declare.

[36:77] Does the human being not see that we created him from a tiny drop, then he turns into an ardent enemy?

[36:78] He raises a question to us – while forgetting his initial creation – "Who can resurrect the bones after they had rotted?"

[36:79] Say, "The One who initiated them in the first place will resurrect them. He is fully aware of every creation."

[36:80] He is the One who creates for you, from the green trees, fuel which you burn for light.

[36:81] Is not the One who created the heavens and the earth able to recreate the same? Yes indeed; He is the Creator, the Omniscient.

[36:82] All He needs to do to carry out any command is to say to it, "Be," and it is.

[36:83] Therefore, glory be to the One in whose hand is the sovereignty over all things, and to Him you will be returned.*

Muneef...You stand no chance until you think for your self and use your intellect. Regurgitation of a book you are fearful of questioning does nothing but convince others of its fallibility.

Don't see why need to say the words of God in my own words?

Muneef.. well thats the problem.. are they the words of Thor? or Ra or Zeus and if not why not and how would you know? You are just chanting words that are in a book that you have no proof is real, and you have just been told to repeat. WE are supposed to think they have some relevance when in fact they are very ordinary and offer no further insight to humanity than we already knew..The Bible offers the same lack of inspiration for humanity.. all very ordinary, mundane and nothing that was not already known.

My faith and belief in what brings make me use it as sacred evidence that no man at that era was able to bring such well organized words of the Quran and being so full of things mentioned that is today being discovered...this book is our compass and light in the darks of all ages...it is our shield and defense...

@Reality – Maybe you didn't park it anywhere. Maybe you just need to hit the "paste" button and make it reappear. 😛

o The comments from Reality above are not from the original Reality. Unfortunately, the blog moderators still have not figured out how to restrict commentators' names to one no matter what the email address is. This is strange because such restrictions are in place on most blogs.

@Reality – Ah. Well it isn't the first time, is it? This is probably just Artist or YBS or someone having fun.
It DID make a good joke, though, didn't it? Oh, well. This is the price we pay for free speech, I guess.

It's awful that so many people get killed by natural disasters like this.

It's also awful that people continue to praise a deity who they insist both loves them and has in his "plan" gratuitous suffering such as this.

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].

By the way TR, these natural disasters are just that. Disasters. Jesus told us that there is nothing new under the sun.

      @HeavenSent

You Said to @TheRationale: "By the way TR, these natural disasters are just that. Disasters. Jesus told us that there is nothing new under the sun."

If you hadn't of brought in the "Jesus says" part of that post, the first part would have been just fine, as it is grounded accuracy in reality. Words attributed to what Jesus allegedly said in the Bible does not reflect the salient points that @TheRationale is making in his original posting.

      Peace...

Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing (2 Timothy 4:8).

So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body (1 Corinthians 15:42-44).

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"—but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).

    Amen.

They might just say that the rocks means to them as mediator to them with God as pagans said when told to worship God alone....no rocks no fires no cross no image no tree no animal nothing of what they used to do....only God the creator...
