I want to read her letter from God regarding all the lies she has told and about her slandering other people. I am concerned that her letter from God is how she thinks of herself – very Holy (not).
I am actually quite liberal and had always thought of Sarah as unintelligent reflection of our society... I mean how was she able to get so high in the ladder with her... well that's not the point
After reading this article, I actually have a newfound respect for her. It explains that god is a concept created by humans to help them cope with a difficult situation. She writes this email to herself and to family in god's name in attempt to convince herself and family that the difficult decision she had made to keep a child with Downs and love him unconditionally was to her the correct thing to do. She understands that he will have a hard life and will be much more demanding of her time than her other children, but trudges along.
I still think she's dumb, but I applaud her realization that god, is created by the individual in effort to help her cope with the pressures of life and the oath she makes to herself under the name of her personal god. I think there are many believers who doesn't even have the guts to do that!

You have to bury your conscience deep down into nothingness to buy that lie. Sadly, you will find that God does exist, I pray it's on this side of life. As an atheist and a Liberal I generally do not agree with Palin. In this case I still do not agree with her because of her belief in God but I still feel sympathy for what must have been a very difficult time in her life. I have absolutely no problem with her trying to find peace in a time that must have been full of doubt and worry.

Two things. Yes, I was moved and surprised by the email. But I wouldn't go so far as to say it brought me over to her side. Her politics are too far right. Her religious fervor is still off-putting. And her pettiness and bile when dealing with people she disagrees with is still repulsive. Just because at one time she wrote an introspective-ish letter about her fears and hopes for her child, does not mean she would be a good preisdent.
And secondly, I'm not sure pointing the finger at atheists as those who attacked her for how crazy she was in writing in the name of God, is accurate. I would have to re-read all the comments for that. I just hope that CNN isn't perpetuating the stereotype of the "angry atheist".

@Billy: Yes, she was extremely irresponsible when she put up those crosshairs. She is frequently irresponsible with her violent rhetoric. It creates an environment of callousness where finding solutions to problems becomes much more difficult. It is an environment where respect for others is diminished and dehumanizing of people in favor of a biased image and violence from that may be more likely IMO. Having said that, I think the responsibility for Giffords shooting was with the shooter. Loughner's obssession with Giffords and proclivity to violence made him pull that trigger. The blame for that cannot be placed on Palin's head.

Thanks. I am not updating that part of the list. Most people aren't going to need it or want it. They just need the letter combos for the most part. I often wonder if CNN has kept count of all the complaints people have made about the filter over the past year? And for everyone that complains, hundreds, probably thousands, do not bother. They could have all this fixed, but then what would we complain about? Hmm.
@I_get_it – Adelina is just one of the most likely to experience severe brain hemorrhaging due to her "problem". She can go elsewhere if she likes, of course.
