Jury finds Warren Jeffs guilty of sexual assaultBy the CNN Wire Staff San Angelo, Texas (CNN) - A Texas jury found polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs guilty Thursday of two counts of sexual assault on a child. Jeffs, who represented himself, remained stoic as the verdict was read. Jurors will deliberate again in the sentencing phase. The sect leader could face up to life in prison. Jurors deliberated for less than four hours, beginning Thursday afternoon after Jeffs stood silently for most of his 30-minute closing argument. It was the latest dramatic twist in a trial that has included sermon-like speeches about religious freedom and an audio recording that prosecutors allege documents Jeffs' sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl in the presence of three other "wives." The lds church is a false branch of the Mormon faith
all branches of Mormonism are false.

This has been going on too long, it’s a good start but our law enforcement has a long way to go.
When I was a kid I lived in Utah, and the Boy Scouts was taken over by Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS Church). This, so called religion, practices underage polygamy, they send the boy s off on missions to divide the underage sisters among the dirty old men of the clan. Now when these underage girls get pregnant, these same dirty old men, send them to the state to get their welfare checks . You should see some of the palace homes that are paid with welfare checks. By the way this is the newest religion that was created right here in United States of America.
When someone hides behind religion to do or say something that is wrong we should stand up and point it out (right the wrong).

The Bible states the most severe punishment on those who violate children. Hope this guy will be locked in prison and repent there by reading the Bible, but he should never come out again. Actions -> consequences

I will have you know that we in the FLDS Church keep a watchful eye out for anyone that would hurt our precious children. Those who have these perversions are sent to live on our pig farms where they are allowed to do what they see fit with the animals. We have found this a better alternative than blood atonement.
The Law of the Land prohibits poylgamist marriages; Utah was told to change or it would not be made a state and therefore not be eligible for Federal assistance. So what do the Mormons do? They pass a law against polygamy and continue the practice "off the books'. Such marriages are not registered at the courthouse and are named 'celestial' marriages. That most such marriages are between little girls and grown men tells the world the LDS Church promotes and encourages pedophilic behavior. The wives and children become secondary and legally unrecognized as legitimate; To top it off, the 'husband/father' is not obligated to support any but his first wife and her children. They put the others on the welfare system and are sucking it dry. The Mormon Church is a cult. Their prophesies have failed time and again – which is a sign of which we are warned to watch. That gold plate? I recall a gold calf in a desert once. It wasn't of God either.
I would like to point out that the FLDS church is not the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. They are no more Mormons than Baptists and Episcopalions are Catholics.
you're lack of knowledge about the Mormon faith is ridiculous, don't write a paragraph claiming what LDS mormons promote when you clearly don't have the slightest clue. Get you're facts correct before you start commenting because you just look ignorant

Im LDS been so for 32 years, never at anytime have I been told I was a plural wife, my husband says he couldn't even if he wanted to Im all he can handle.
I don't think its far you hep the LDS faithful in the steaming pile of crap the FLDS is.
Its funny how people never let the early Mormon history go over this.
You never see Catholics called names when they have a history of married priests then what was called in my history books as the grate divorcement, dumping wives and children with out recourse or all the bloody wars in the name of the church of Rome. It was somewhat True that in times written of in the Old Testaments that the very young were married at earlier and very young ages then that which we now adhere to, at least the moral majority does.
To continue, does not the New Aged' USA promote itself as being a two party only marriage for its' people? Why should its' (USAs') people be barred from Old Testament Rituals/Traditions where by a man takes many wives? Do the Saudies' from Arabia still have harems? I dunno.
