Egyptian Coptics attacked, dozens slightly injured

By Mohamed Fadel Fahmy, For CNN

(CNN) - Hundreds of Coptics marching in Cairo Thursday were attacked by unknown assailants.

Thirty-two people were injured including two police officers, according to Dr. Adel Al Dawi, a ministry of health spokesman. Except for one badly injured girl who remained hospitalized late Thursday, those injured were treated for minor bruises and cuts.

The marchers were heading to Cairo's Tahrir Square to commemorate the deaths of pro-Coptic protesters killed in clashes in the Egyptian capital last month.

Coptic Christians, an ancient sect, make up about 9% of Egypt's largely Muslim population, according to the U.S. State Department. Problems between Egypt's Muslim majority and its Coptic Christian minority have been on the rise in recent months, with a number of violent clashes reported between the two groups.

Thursday's march was organized by the Free Copts Movements and the Blood of Martyrs movement, two of many new groups formed after clashes that took place on October 9 in the Cair neighborhood of Maspero leaving 26 dead and 300 injured.

"We were marching peacefully with candles to commemorate the 26 martyrs of Maspero on the 40-day anniversary of the Maspero attacks, when several youth clashed," said Sherif Doss, the head of the Egyptian Coptic Association.

On Thursday, the children of Islam attacked the Copts, the Egyptian army prohibited the Christians to march to Tahrir square. The next day, on Friday, children of Islam were allowed to march on Tahrir square, and nobody dared to touch them. And the world continues to witness injustice at its worst!

    Ain't misbehavin' my Muslim friends?

    Passage from the above article:

Coptic Christians, an ancient sect, make up about 9% of Egypt's largely Muslim population, according to the U.S. State Department.

    Unquote.

Seemingly, the Copts have a special Christology, which is different from the Christology of the worldwide Christian Church. Insofar as that is true, they are indeed a Christian sect.

I myselfs conceit myself to be a member of the worldwide Christian Church, because I keep the doctrines of the Ecu-menical Councils. However, I would never harm a Copt, because of his false doctrine of Christ. Rather I would try to convince him of the true doctrine by verbal "assaults". Assumed, my Coptic friend would harden his heart against the truth, I would not harm or kill him, but merely not great him (after a long time of attempts). This is, what the Lord has commanded: Don't great the heretics! I think this is harsh enough, but not inhuman. The spiritual opponent gets a pointer that his situation is quite serious and he should continue to ponder.

    What about our Muslim "friends"?

Our Muslim friends are still examples for anti-Christian and inhuman behaviour (misbehaviour). It is not mainly about having a different opinion, regarding the faith, but about their handling of so-called infidels (non-Muslims or Christians). Like their (false) Prophet, who was a lousy criminal (this can be proved by historical science), they use the gun or the sword to spread their "faith".

In fact, Islam is no faith, but the anti-faith. Islam denies the divine sonship of Jesus Christ. This is the most heavy spiritual crime, someone can perpetrate. As soon as you confess that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God or God himself, every Muslims thinks you are an infidel. But according to the Christian doctrine, it is the center of the true faith to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Thus, Islam and Christianity are absolutely contrary: The core tenet of Christianity (believing that Jesus is the Son of God or God himself) is the greatest sin in Islam. Damned Islam!

I guess, the doctrine of the Copts is heretical. In contrast, the Islam is not merely heretical, but it wants to destroy the Christian faith. This is really hyper-demonical.

How much blood was shed by the false Prophet?

    Answer: Oceans of blood.

you are correct william, i am young and still have the hopeful nature towards our race.... but i have seen this before in history where one culture destorys itself from the inside out – rome for instance... just a foreshadow of the US. As for Egypt, I think they will live another 3-5 thousand more years – this is there culture, fight or die – and thats very similar to many desert peoples...weakness will kill you and so may slow or kill the tribe, it then by default must be eliminated for the betterment of the tribe. Its a bedouin state of mind. I just think that if one can start trying to make difference then we all can by example make this a better world!.... he he but maybe one day i can be as cynical as you. 🙂 tis a joke,no insult intended... please just laugh.

Education can not change human heart, nor it can drive the darkness out of it.
If it could, today's generation wouldn't be so morally corrupt as it is. We've got more educated people now then ever, yet we see more evil flourishing today, being applauded, promoted and tolerated by masses of people more then ever before.
These are the sign of the time we're living in.

What instigated the attack on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon? And what drives today's 24/7 mosque/imam-planned acts of terror and horror? The koran, Mohammed's book of death for all infidels and Muslim domination of the world by any means. Muslims must clean up this book removing said passages admitting that they are based on the Gabriel myth and therefore obviously the hallucinations and/or lies of Mohammed. Then we can talk about the safety and location of mosques and what is planned and taught therein.

Until then, no male Muslim can be trusted anytime or anywhere..................................

Go ahed and lie, and you will be shreded. The math is obvious about who the real threat is. Deviant preachers, and coaches do FAR more damage to American kids that ALL the terrorists COMBINED.

Gabriel myths? Your whole belief system is a myth!

    • Reality

They are called the Infamous Angelic Cons/Myths:

      Joe Smith had his Moroni.

      Jehovah Witnesses have their Jesus /Michael the archangel, the first angelic being created by God;

Mohammed had his Gabriel (this "tin-kerbell" got around).

Jesus and his family had Michael, Gabriel, and Satan, the latter being a modern day dem-on of the de-mented.

The Abraham-Moses myths had their Angel of Death and other "no-namers" to do their dirty work or other assorted duties.

Contemporary biblical and religious scholars have relegated these "pretty wingie thingies" to the myth pile. We should do the same to include deleting all references to them in our religious operating manuals. Doing this will eliminate the prophet/profit/prophecy status of these founders and put them where they belong as simple humans just like the rest of us.

      Some added references to "tink-erbells".

"Latter-day Saints also believe that Michael the Archangel was Adam (the first man) when he was mortal, and Gabriel lived on the earth as Noah."

Apparently hallu-cinations did not stop with Joe Smith.

      newadvent.org/cathen/07049c.htm

"The belief in guardian angels can be traced throughout all antiquity; pagans, like Menander and Plutarch (cf. Euseb., "Praep. Evang.", xii), and Neo-Platonists, like Plotinus, held it. It was also the belief of the Babylonians and As-syrians, as their monuments testify, for a figure of a guardian angel now in the British Museum once decorated an As-syrian palace, and might well serve for a modern representation; while Nabopolassar, father of Nebuchadnezzar the Great, says: "He (Marduk) sent a tutelary deity (cherub) of grace to go at my side; in everything that I did, he made my work to succeed."
Catholic monks and Dark Age theologians also did their share of hallu-cinating:

"TUBUAS-A member of the group of angels who were removed from the ranks of officially recognized celestial hierarchy in 745 by a council in Rome under Pope Zachary. He was joined by Uriel, Adimus, Sabaoth, Simiel, and Raguel."

And tin-ker- bells go way, way back:

"In Zoroastrianism there are different angel like creatures. For example each person has a guardian angel called Fravashi. They patronize human being and other creatures and also manifest god’s energy. Also, the Amesha Spentas have often been regarded as angels, but they don't convey messages, but are rather emanations of Ahura Mazda ("Wise Lord", God); they appear in an abstract fashion in the religious thought of Zarathustra and then later (during the Achaemenid period of Zoroastrianism) became personalized, associated with an aspect of the divine creation (fire, plants, water...)."

"The beginnings of the biblical belief in angels must be sought in very early folklore. The gods of the Hitti-tes and Canaanites had their supernatural messengers, and parallels to the Old Testament stories of angels are found in Near Eastern literature. "

"The 'Magic Papyri' contain many spells to secure just such help and protection of angels. From magic traditions arose the concept of the guardian angel. "
