If all you were doing was getting together to watch TV and then either going home to separate domiciles each night or retiring to separate beds each night, no one would have any reason to make a fuss. It's the fact that y'all are boinking that people object to. That, and adopting or manufacturing kids.

Well, except for the part where you're retiring to the bedroom and doing things that human beings of the same gender aren't supposed to be doing with each other. Or the part where you're discussing "having kids" as if that's something that two men or two women were ever supposed to do. Or the part where you're taking a sacred ceremony intended to affirm human gender-duality and procreative power and desecrating it by insisting it should apply equally to two people of the same gender. Those are visuals most people can do without.
I know people who are beaten by their straight fathers and mothers. None of my friends, yes I have more than one, who have gay parents have ever been abused by their parents.
If you can do without the visuals, then please do without them. No one asked you to visualize my life. In fact, I ask you to not visualize my life. Please just stay out of it, don't think about it, and give me my rights.
I am hetero and married with children and it has nothing to do with you or your pitiful "god". Your religion does not own marriage and it will eventually be legal for gays to marry throughout this country. I for one support it wholeheartedly and do not care one whit what any right-wing dinosaur thinks about it.
I actually wish CNN would post more pictures like this. I think most people's acceptance of the gay lifestyle is based in theory rather than exposure. But when you can see public displays of gay affection and realize deep down that you are seeing things that simply ought not to be, that takes the "ivory tower acceptance" aspect right out of the picture. Kudos to CNN for holding up photos and saying, "You're saying there's nothing wrong with *this*, right?"
It seems like you got the whole thing backwards. What you should be seeing is people living their lives and realizing that its none of your business. You should leave them alone and let them have their rights. Their happiness is with them and yours is with you. Take responsibility for your own life and stop worrying about what others are doing.
Whenever something is broadcasted in public like this, it becomes EVERYONE'S business. If you want people out of it, keep it behind closed doors where it belongs, in private.

The study looked for any complications within 30 days of the surgery. Results showed no effect of prayer on complication-free recovery. But 59 percent of the patients who knew they were being prayed for developed a complication, versus 52 percent of those who were told it was just a possibility.

I disagree. My father-in-Law and my step-father are both Christians and have both finished college and my Father-in-Law has his Doctorate in Physics from Kansas University. Also he was a missionary on missions leave when he got his Doctorate degree. I know that is only two people stated, but there are many smart and wise Christians out there.
Not true D lots of early scientist were men of devout faith and Christians and great thinkers and by the way when an atheist truly seeks God they usual find Him that usually happens when they finally growup, mature and are confronted with real life problems. Then they become strong Christian believers like C.S. Lewis among many other. Why does God hate amputees so much!!!! If prayer heals people, then how come no-one in the history of Christianity has EVER grown a limb back? Every person that is a Christian that has lost a limb has prayed for it to grow back; their loving Christian families have prayed; their Pastors/Priests and congregations have prayed, yet NEVER, EVER has a limb miraculously grown back... Hundreds of MILLIONS of prayers must have reached God's ears.. all of them fervently praying for their missing limb to grow back, but it never does....Why is that I wonder? I mean God is supposed to do miraculous things, correct? Where are the regrown legs and arms?
