All religions have an element of goodness to them, but when they claim absolute certainty in being the only true beliefs there ever were., 'peace on earth, good will towards man' will never be a reality. If one has a particular religion; it is primarily the result of culture & geography. Perhaps all the Holy Books of this world have been updated throughout history but as there was less power & prosperity involved for the religious leaders, they weren't seen as such. The updates are found in books called Physics,Chemistry, Biology, & Mathematics; to name but a few.
I am Persian, but I was born here in Canada. Canadians have different customs, and I love how women here have rights and are protected by the law.Neille McClung and Emily Murphy did not spend a good decade or more of their life to give women all these rights for some phyco's to take it away. These two women along with many more fought for women independence and rights, and people like this are putting their hard work to shame. My father and mother brought me here so I could have a better life, so I could wear whatever I wanted, have my hair in whatever style I want and to learn independence. So I could stand on my own two feet and never depend on a guy. Canadians have the freedom of speech and rights to date whomever they please. This is what Canada is about, freedom and indepence. It makes no logical sense for a "FATHER" and I put it in quotes because I dont think he can call himself a father seeing as how he murdered his children, that is not a father. A father will do anything for his children. IF you bring your children here for a better life you can not take it away from them because they are conforming, thats what happeneds when you move somewhere. I thank Canada for the freedom it has given me and so many others that come from places were men can abuse and neglect women.
Pleased for your happiness but just wonder if you mean that you had dropped off your origin customs and religious beliefs addopting your new home country openness...? Or did you manage some how to keep both not forgetting who you are and where you came from?

Very good Donna you found her out...she is Iranian only if she is a Muslim but being Persian means that from those who worship Fire...and those still exist in Iran and India as well.
You make good points. They are especially important coming from someone like yourself whose ethnic background is from an Islamic part of the world. But one of the problems, I believe, is the fact that when extremists in any religion do things that are appalling, which happens all the time; others in that same faith parrot the claim that "TRUE" members of the faith would never have done such things, so they cannot really be....whatever religion was claimed by the criminals. I do not care what faith is claimed when human dignity, life itself, & civil rights are violated . If those responsible have carried out their actions in the name of ___________ , the only "true" religion, They ARE adherents of that religion & no one can say differently.
I'm beginning to think violence is the true face of Islam. Groups like the Ahmadi Muslims are the radicals ... They preach peace.
The jury has found all of the accused guilty of first-degree murder. 🙂 This is a proud moment for our wonderful country.

95000 mostly women are murdered in the USA by their partners because of extra marital affairs or affairs ,they are murdered because they feel betrayed ,i ask is this not honor killing than what is it ?

Thinking the way you think, the killing will continue, seeing that you view killing inosent people as a struggle and not murder. If you call this a struggle, when will you really have peace, and rest. If you really want peace and rest apart from killing your fellow man, come to Jesus and and find the peace that you seek and end the struggle. For Jesus said ' Come unto me,all ye ( you) that labor (work, struggle) and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest' Matthew 11; 28,KJV King James version. You will not find this call to true peace and rest in any other faith, All other religions it is a constant never ending struggle of some sort,but not for the Christian, The Bible states (For by grace or ye (you) saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.(Ephesians 2;8-9) KJV
Please,,,,,Read the entire Bible, study credible sources of history, & take a good look at the inhumanity delivered by people from all religions to their fellow men. Religion is based on faith; not facts. Had the pursuit of 'facts' not been suppressed for the 1000 year period we cal the Dark Ages, we may well have had answers to the scourges of heart disease, cancers, & the innumerable chronic & debilitating illnesses that plague societies to this day.
i have not seen any hard evidence that they did it also.and translation of arabic or farsi is not easy task,for e.g western translate jihad into kill or killing,an arab will tell you it means struggle,so a farmer work which is difficult is consider jihad or the arab spring could be called a jihad(struggle)but we told to listen to people who are not expert on islam but on bigotry.

This agenda continues as shown by the ma-ssacre in Mumbai, the as-sas-sinations of Bhutto and Theo Van Gogh, the conduct of the seven Muslim doctors in the UK, the 9/11 terrorists, the 24/7 Sunni suicide/roadside/market/mosque bombers, the 24/7 Shiite suicide/roadside/market/mosque bombers, the Islamic bombers of the trains in the UK and Spain, the Bali crazies, the Kenya crazies, the Pakistani “koranics”, the Palestine suicide bombers/rocketeers, the Lebanese nutcases, the Taliban nut jobs, the Ft. Hood follower of the koran, and the Filipino “koranics”.
And who funds this muck and stench of terror? The warmongering, Islamic, Shiite terror and torture theocracy of Iran aka the Third Axis of Evil and also the Sunni "Wannabees" of Saudi Arabia.
