Santorum co-chair: Homosexuality 'makes God want to vomit'

(CNN)–Reverend O'Neal Dozier, pastor of the Worldwide Christian Center in Pompano Beach, Florida, joined CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin to discuss some controversial statements he has made in the past on social issues.

Dozier, an honorary Rick Santorum co-chair, defended his views that homosexuality is 'disgusting' and 'the paramount sin' in the eyes of God.

He went on to explain why he thinks that Mitt Romney is unelectable due to his Mormon faith.

I am a gay Christian, and if you actually do your research you will find that the word "abomination" is refereed to Idolatry, and if you are going to do what the Bible says along those lines, it also says that eating shrimp and wearing wool is an "abomination".
and leave Obama alone, he's doing a great job! There are way too many DUMB people in this world, and I pray that Jesus comes back soon...

Someone might want to explain to this idiot that the KKK uses his bible to justify their assertion that blacks are inferior.

Jesustards make me laugh, especially when they are a minority spewing hate. You'd think they would know better.

The pastor is being a little dramatic. All sin is an abomination to God. What is sickening is the move towards using the sin of ho mo se xuality as national policy.

~The statistical studies from the nineteenth century and the three CCU studies on prayer are quite consistent with the fact that humanity is wasting a huge amount of time on a procedure that simply doesn’t work. Nonetheless, faith in prayer is so pervasive and deeply rooted, you can be sure believers will continue to devise future studies in a desperate effort to confirm their beliefs.

I'm curious. What bible verse did he get this notion from. Is it in the bible? Did god come to him and tell him about his digestive issues or is this "reverend" simply lying? I would like some proof of the veracity of his claim, starting with proof of this "god". So far, there hasn't been any proof of any god, much less one that throws up when he's upset.

What would he vomit? Depends what he ate. Probably Republicans – although by looks of Dozier, poor God probably also had diarrhea.

    Dear Pastor,

In case you missed the comments the first time-

Time to enter into the 21st century:

"Abrahamics" believe that their god created all of us and of course that includes the g-ay members of the human race. Also, those who have studied ho-mo-se-xuality have determined that there is no choice involved therefore ga-ys are ga-y because god made them that way.

    To wit:

o The Royal College of Psy-chiatrists stated in 2007:

“ Despite almost a century of psy-choanalytic and psy-chological speculation, there is no substantive evidence to support the suggestion that the nature of parenting or early childhood experiences play any role in the formation of a person’s fundamental heteros-exual or hom-ose-xual orientation. It would appear that s-exual orientation is biological in nature, determined by a complex interplay of ge-netic factors and the early ut-erine environment. Se-xual orientation is therefore not a choice.[60] "

"Garcia-Falgueras and Swaab state in the abstract of their 2010 study, "The fe-tal brain develops during the intraut-erine period in the male direction through a direct action of tes-tosterone on the developing nerve cells, or in the female direction through the absence of this hor-mone surge. In this way, our gender identi-ty (the conviction of belonging to the male or female gender) and s-exual orientation are programmed or organized into our brain structures when we are still in the womb. There is no indication that social environment after birth has an effect on gender ident–ity or s-exual orientation."[8

See also the Philadelphia Inquirer review “Gay Gene, Deconstructed”, 12/12/2011. Said review addresses the following “How do genes associated with ho-mose-xuality avoid being weeded out by Darwinian evolution?”

Of course, those gays who belong to Abrahamic religions abide by the rules of no adu-ltery or for-nication allowed.

And because of basic biology differences said monogamous ventures should always be called same-s-ex unions not same-s-ex marriages.

Now god wants to vomit. Is it that he wants to vomit, and can't ? Or feels he needs to, and doesn't want to ? I'm so confused.

    • Applying wobbly Christian "logic" to Christian statements

If God vomits, that must mean that God has a mouth and a throat and a stomach, as well as bowels through which is divine food passes. But if he is immortal, they why would he need food, and where would he get it, and who created it, and for that matter what god created oour God, and shouldn't we just ignore the middleman ad just worship God's God? Or is God's God just another middleman in an infinite chain in gods who create gods.

And if God can vomit, they he must shit. Which would explain how conservatives are made.

  20. Prayer is not healthy for children and other living things

Prayer causes small kids to get hit by buses when they aren't paying attention.
Prayer takes people away from actually working on real solutions to their problems.
Prayer wears out your clothes prematurely.
Prayer contributes to global warming through excess CO2 emissions.
Prayer fucks up your knees and your back.
Prayer can cause heart attacks, especially among the elderly.
Prayer reveals how stupid you are to the world.
Prayer prevents you from getting badly needed exercise.
Prayer makes you post really stupid shit.
    Prayer makes you hoard cats.
Prayer makes you crave the smell of kitty litter and leads you on to harder drugs.
    Prayer wastes time.
