Santorum co-chair: Homosexuality 'makes God want to vomit'

(CNN)–Reverend O'Neal Dozier, pastor of the Worldwide Christian Center in Pompano Beach, Florida, joined CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin to discuss some controversial statements he has made in the past on social issues.

Dozier, an honorary Rick Santorum co-chair, defended his views that homosexuality is 'disgusting' and 'the paramount sin' in the eyes of God.

He went on to explain why he thinks that Mitt Romney is unelectable due to his Mormon faith.

I think this man failed to recognize one thing about his about assertions. NO ONE IS TAKING MONEY FROM THE RICH! Obama is asking that the rich pay the same tax rate that poor people are paying. Thank you. That is all.

And mentally disturbed people like this so-called Reverend are allowed to stand on the soapbox at CNN. As Fox News moves back from the edge of the extreme right wing cliff it went over a number of times, you are moving toward it at full speed. Nice going CNN.

Reverend O'Neal Dozier makes God want to vomit. Jesus would vomit over the Reverend, too.
He is fecal matter on the toilet paper of America.

You can be certain that you have created god in your own image when it turns out he hates all the same people you do.

You're asking for too much. It's obvious the IQ of the country has dropped significantly. I'm surprised most can even read.

How the F*** does this person know what God wants? How dare he put himself in God's shoes. This is the nail in the coffin. I was going to vote for Santorum. Not now.

You know what else probably makes God want to vomit? Vomit. Should we outlaw that?

So God has a stomach? And he is incapable of holding his food down? So God gets sick? What kind of food would God eat? Lamb chops? Pork loin? Quasars? This is interesting news here. So God's weakness is the Gays. If there are enough of them, would God starve to death? What did he eat before he created food? Fascinating material here.

I'd lay 10 to 1 odds that pastor is on the down low and will be found out one of these days.

My thought too. When someone is loud about another persons behavior... " me thinks he doth protest to much".

That's one of the best posts so far. Good work. When you're a minority launchign smears against another minority, how can it not point to internalized self-hatred.

With comments like the one this pastor made, Santorum just might be knocked out of the running and Mitt will be back in the lead where he belongs.

I cant hardly believe there are still some pastors out there who fail to tell the real truth about sodom and gomorrah, all are guilty of sin and I am so sick of how some super rreligous teachers who are in error use the bible in bad ways. For those who really want to know the sins of sodom and Ghmora read ezehiel, he lists the sins of sodeom and it's not what we have heard from false teachers for hundreds of years.

Well, please enlighten us with your version of what Romans 1:26-27 is...the bible speaks the truth plainly that all can understand. You just don't want to believe it. The Old Testament was given for the sole purpose of teaching you that you that you sin and what is sinful in God's eyes, and to point to God's salvation plan of Jesus. God also warns us that people will follow other doctrines with itching ears. Wake up or burn up my friend.

The Bible does not say God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because they were gay. People just seem to want to believe it does. At that time there was a fertility god that people would pay homage to by having org.ies. I think that is the kind of behavior that the Bible is speaking of in the Romans verse. The other parts regarding hom0s3xuality were later additions.

NoCompromise – read my posting name. How about seeking out people of other religions and other beliefs, shake a hand and tell them you apologize for the disrespect you have shown them and others? Wouldn't that be a godly thing to do?

I'd rather follow the words of Jesus. "Condemn not, and you will not be condemned." (Luke 6:37) than some Old Testament verses filled with irrelevance or the commonly misinterpreted Romans 1:26-27.

Well, please enlighten us with your version of what Romans 1:26-27 is...ton second thought, don't. There's enough watered-down religion being taught. The bible speaks the truth plainly that all can understand. You just don't want to believe it. The Old Testament was given for the sole purpose of teaching you that you that you sin and what is sinful in God's eyes, and to point to God's salvation plan of Jesus. @NoCompromise. I'm guessing your understanding of the Bible is a lifelong indoctrination, presented by a series of male preachers. Good luck with seeing through our own eyes.

@ NoCompromise... must I assume you never eat crab, shrimp or lobster and that you never wear clothes made of mixed materials? These are big no-nos in the bible too. Must I also assume you think slavery should be re-established because it is allowed in the bible, even encouraged? Do you plan on selling your daughter in slavery any time soon?
