Santorum co-chair: Homosexuality 'makes God want to vomit'

(CNN)–Reverend O'Neal Dozier, pastor of the Worldwide Christian Center in Pompano Beach, Florida, joined CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin to discuss some controversial statements he has made in the past on social issues.

Dozier, an honorary Rick Santorum co-chair, defended his views that homosexuality is 'disgusting' and 'the paramount sin' in the eyes of God.

He went on to explain why he thinks that Mitt Romney is unelectable due to his Mormon faith.

Candidates Obama and Clinton both stated unequivocally that marriage should be a union between one male and one female. They obviously believed anything other than that is not and should not be categorized as a marriage. So where were all of your holier-than-thou diatribes against Barack and Hillary? Maybe because u knew they were lying just to get elected. Which is worse, to pander to idiots who care about who marries whom and continue the nonsensical legal prejudice against gays OR people who state what they believe and stick with it regardless the audience?

I'm no advocate of gay rights but I don't judge this either. I think what might make God vomit, if God could vomit, is that 2/3 of the world's babies go to bed hungry (probably a dirt floor) every night while those who don't have to go to bed hungry and have the power to fix this evil do nothing. War is the sound of God retching.

I am pretty sure that God would vomit at bigoted hate before anything. That is, if God were one who vomits....

Agreed. Jesus said the highest commandment was to love God and love your neighbor as yourself. He also told us to not judge others. All this debating about who is or is not a Christian does not seem like what Jesus would do.

If God vomited, he would be throwing up all the GOP NAZI PARTY candidates as even God cannot stomach the rotten bile they are throwing at the American people.
Republicans believe they are going to heaven, yet they are the first ones to cry, moan & beg when the end is near.
Earth is Hell, Death is Heaven & the GOP seems intent on making Hell as meaningful as possible.

Gandoman - Enjoy your eternity in hell. It's a sure thing that there will be plenty of Republicans in heaven, so you must be headed in another direction.

Every instinct I have tells me that Rick Santorum is hiding a dark secret. Something is just way off about this guy. The more he talks, the more disturbed he appears. Spider sense says, "vote otherwise."

The biggest sin is spreading hatred in the name of God. That really makes God want to vomit.

And about the Rockets, I can see why you would want to take them, there were valid points for both sides. Suns just ended up making their shots the 2nd half which was a good thing for us. Talk to you soon.

"Paramount sin in the eyes of GOD"?... Really? What about The Top 10? The Commandments I believe would be paramount hence name 10 Commendments. I don't recall any of them stating Thou shalt not take it in the backdoor or thou shalt not be a carpet muncher. I'm just sayin'...

Is that the same God that had the bright idea to make sure Rick Santorum would be the Republican nominee and make it possible for the Democrats to put Obama back in the White House–the same Obama who supports gay rights and will probably do even more to help Gays after 2012? That's the God, right? Rick is the greatest thing to ever happen to the Democratic Party. Yeah!

What is so progressive about Obama's view on gay. He is supported by 98% of black America, yet is opposed by 73% of black America on gay issues. If you are so smart you God-less worm, justify this.

Shame on that Rev.....I was born gay, like all gays. It is innate and God given. I thank God for making me gay. It has made me the man I am today. It has made me the spiritual man I am today........did it ever occur to the Rev. that the Bible is a man made, forged, corrupted, and error filled book of mythology?....he needs to learn the origins of his own belief system.

You may not agree with what he said, but at least he had the nerve to stand up on national television and say it. Way to go!! There are too many people out there that just say what they think other people want to hear!
