Santorum co-chair: Homosexuality 'makes God want to vomit'

(CNN)–Reverend O'Neal Dozier, pastor of the Worldwide Christian Center in Pompano Beach, Florida, joined CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin to discuss some controversial statements he has made in the past on social issues.

Dozier, an honorary Rick Santorum co-chair, defended his views that homosexuality is 'disgusting' and 'the paramount sin' in the eyes of God.

He went on to explain why he thinks that Mitt Romney is unelectable due to his Mormon faith.

If god needs to vomit, does that mean he has a digestive system like you and me?

I am looking forward to an incredibly entertaining Palin-like reality TV show starring Rick Santorum and his family after he loses the presidency.

I Need the Lord God Rev. O'Neal to help me understand his teachings better, Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians? A neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death, should I ask the police to do it? One last thing can you tell me which sins are worse then the others without violating your sin to not Judge others?

All you have to do is listen to him and you will here him say "Its my word" he does not say it's the word of God, but he says it's his word. that should say ALL we need to know to be able to tell he is false. And I agree as A professional Psychologist that he is most likely on the "Down Low"

I'm a Republican. I'm even a conservative on a whole range of issues. But in this context: Santorum's co-chair's "god" makes ME want to vomit. And I'm straight. What fools we have to deal with. Let's just hope that clown runs out of money soon. If he wins the nomination then we're looking at four more years with the current fool in chief.

As a Pennsylvanian I am sickened to the point of vomiting over the foul garbage spewing from Santorum. I didnt know he had a direct connection to God. Sounds to me like Santorum has a direct connection to Fred Phelps! The Republicans should be embarrassed by the two idiots they have picked for the Presidential nomination. I can only shake my head when I hear the stupidity coming from supposedly "educated" people. Maybe the Repubulican party should dig a little deeper in their bag for a better candidate. Or should I say candidates ?

THIS MAN IS A CHARLATAN! He's only pretending to be a religious leader, but he doesn't even know his own Bible. Here is what he just said:

"God would never take from the rich and give to the poor... There is NO PLACE IN THE BIBLE... where God orders or even mandates for the rich to give their monies over to the poor... What He has said is this... it is an individual thing... It is up to you and me and the rest of us... to voluntarily, on our own give to the poor."

But even small children know Jesus' words in the Bible:

"Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, 'Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?'
'Why do you ask me about what is good? Jesus replied. 'There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.'
    'Which ones?' The man inquired?
Jesus replied, 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.'
'All these I have kept,' the young man said. (yeah right!) 'What do I still lack?'
Jesus answered, 'If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then, come follow me.'
When the young man heard this, he went away sad because he had great wealth.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again, I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.' " MATTHEW 19:16-24

It is nothing less than astonishing that Dozier doesn't understand this very basic Biblical principle. Or maybe he does, but his fake religion has brought him great wealth and now he feels it's his duty to teach his flock that God would NEVER tell him to give up his money. Now I understand his motive; if he helps Santorum win, then religious leaders will become even LESS accountable for their shady financial dealings. In the first place, not only are churches tax exempt, but they don't even have to file a tax returns, IRS Form 990, like all other tax exempt charities do. That's a LOT of power in the hands of religious leaders. Power corrupts!

Well, here is another scripture for Dozier and all those who would listen to him:

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel - which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned. As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!" GALATIANS 1:6-9

You don't seem to understand how fundy's minds work. That talk about love and charity is for other people toward them, it doesn't apply to them since they are the choosen ones.

I am a Buddhist, and I have Christian acquaintances who are of different sects always trying to tell me to join theirs because theirs is the one and only way to Heaven. First of all, I am perfectly happy with my faith, it serves me well, I try to serve it well, but like the Buddha, I would never tell anyone else they have to follow my path or they are condemned. He encouraged people to try his way to enlightenment, and if it worked for them fine. If it didn't, he hoped they found it somewhere. So I find all of this proselytizing and crass argument very unattractive for so-called religious people. It sounds to me like a lot of you Christians have an anthropomorphic god, and that you attribute your own prejudices and hatred to him. I like what Gandhi said when asked what he thought of Christianity. "It's a good idea." Some Christians are always proclaiming that Jesus is coming. Ever read Dostoevsky's "Brothers Karamazov"? See what the Grand Inquisitor did when Jesus came back? Sadly, from these comments, I suspect that is exactly what would happen to Jesus if he showed up tomorrow. I think all of you sanctimonious Christians would have a lot of explaining to do. By the way, I'm not claiming my faith is better than yours. I just don't choose to believe any of you have the right to judge me or anyone else if we don't agree with your interpretation of God and the Bible. People who go on tv and claim that their God would vomit over any situation is pretty weird. Why don't you follow Jesus' example and look for the qualities to love in people?

If Jesus was to come back the christian fundies would have him on the death row quicker than you might think.

In Rick Santorum, we have a candidate the Westboro Baptist Church can REALLY get behind! Go Rick!

Nope, he's a pope-worshiping idolater, so Westboro says he's going to hell with the rest of us. Look, you made me actually say something positive about Rick- I didn't think it was possible! Of course, a lower bar would be hard to find...
