Franklin Graham questions Obama, Romney on Christian faith

(CNN) - Franklin Graham, son of famed evangelist Billy Graham, on Tuesday questioned whether Mitt Romney's Mormon faith qualified as Christianity.

He also raised concerns about President Barack Obama's dedication to Christianity, as well as to Christians living in Muslim countries.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or Mormons as members are colloquially known, identify themselves as Christians.

Franklin Graham is just telling everyone the truth. Don't hate him because you don't want to hear the truth. John 14:6 Jesus said," I am the way the truth and the life; know one comes to the father except through me" John 3:16 "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes on him will not parish but have everlasting life"
Franklin Graham knows you can't earn your way to heaven with good deeds. You either accept his son as savior of the world or you don't. A Christian filled with the Holy Spirit doesn't judge others, but that doesn't mean we can't tell the difference between a believer and someone who thinks they are. Obama may think he is, but his decisions, actions and priorities prove otherwise.

[Hi CNN: This informative little item was spotted on the never-boring web.]

Islam will "purify" Jews and Christians !

Islam, part of the Living River of History, can affect even the 2012 US election!
The "headwaters" of this River was Adam, according to Judaism, Christianity, Islam etc .
In the OT (Deut. 28), "tributaries" wanting to join the River will be blessed while "distributaries" who want to flow away from it will be cursed. Those wishing to totally separate from the fresh Living River will end up as polluted, dying "oxbow lakes."
In the OT we see Israelites repeatedly flowing away from God, then repenting and returning to Him; we also see heathen "oxbow lakes" creating their own "gods" and being allowed by God to plunder and kill the erring Israelites.
Then, at the right time, the Living River took on new life with the arrival of the Promised One who offers "living water."
In the 7th century Islam, drawing from both OT and NT, chose to be a distributary away from this River. Many scholars have viewed it as the final Antichrist: note "scourge" (Isa. 28), "Assyrian" (Mic. 5), "Euphrates" (Rev. 9) etc.
God will allow this "scourge" to temporarily persecute and even kill apostate Jews (JINOs) and Christians (CINOs). Jews, especially in "entertainment," seem more expert in apostasy than Christians since Jews have been at it 2000 years longer than Christians have – but Christians apparently want to catch up to the Jews!
It's apparent that others will join Islam in its end-time inquisition; its great oil wealth can captivate many leaders and already we are seeing apostate American leaders being bribed into turning against true American patriots.
Those who ignore (or try to dilute or destroy) the God-ordained Living River of History will be swept down it to an ocean made by their own never-ending tears of agony and despair.
The good news is that American JINOs & CINOs can overcome the "scourge" discussed above. The secret is found by checking out "II Chronicles 7:14" & "John 3:16" on the web. And there's still time – and freedom – before the 2012 "End of America" election to Google or Yahoo "Pretrib Rapture Politics."

I watched the interview. Franklin Graham said that he didn't know if Obama was a Christian, that the interviewer would have to ask Obama if he were. The CNN commentator never heard Franklin disparage Obama's religion in the slightest! I guess this is the way CNN reports the news. If they don't say what you want them to say, just say they said it anyway! I guess that's why I watch Fox News so much. I still watch CNN just for the fun of seeing their lies.

Mormons may in fact be the closest to true Christianity. "By their actions you shall know them "- they give more humanitarian aid to all over the world than any other church (per capita). They worship the only Jesus Christ, the only begotten of the Father of us all. Besides Jesus Christ there is no other Savior. They however proudly admit that they do not believe in the abomination of the the NIcene Creed nor the Trinity. They believe that Jesus and the Father are separate beings, but one in purpose. Otherwise, was Jesus praying to himself when He said "not my will but thine be done"???? (2 wills=2personages). One in person as explained when Jesus prayed to the Father and He asks that all his disciples be one AS He and the Father are one (obviously in purpose not in person). Otherwise praying to himself makes the scriptures sound ridiculous! Also, He did not "drop off" his resurrected body when He was seen rising into heaven. Read your Bible folks. This is all in the Bible.

Since you told me your beliefs about Jesus, I'll share mine with you.

Jesus was a little-known religious zealot and a political opponent of the government of the day. He was summarily executed with no fanfare. His bones are in an unmarked grave beneath a parking lot somewhere in Jerusalem. He's not coming back.

Mormons believe in a different God than that of the Bible. The Hebrews letters YHWH is the name of God in the Old Testament, and the English transliteration of God's personal name is YHWH, with vowels added, YAHWEH. Modern Bibles do not use those letters but instead replace them with capital letters LORD.

The Mormon God is the progenitor and Father of YHWH and he is before and greater than the God in the Old Testament.

The problem is this belief breaks the very first commandment.

6 ‘I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 7 ‘You shall have no other gods before Me. Deuteronomy 5

Good people, we are at war. Our country is in danger of being taken over by the insane Christian Right.

If you love your freedom, vote for the Dems in 2012.

    Cheers!

Christianity's leadership is shot through with corruption. Preachers arrive at stadiums full of believers in stretch limos to gather baskets of cash, making fools of their followers.

I don't think anyone is in a position to determine whether someone is a Christian or not. Stay focus on your relationship with God and not others' relationship with God. Too many people trying to play God and need to get back in their lane of winning souls into the kingdom. Not pointing the fingers! Read Visions of God's Coming Judgments at BN.com for only 99Cents! God has a lot to say to leaders, secular or religious.

The Rev Billy Graham was a wonderful man who had the sense not to get embroiled in religious wars started by the extreme right, and as a result was able to get his message to many presidents from both parties during his ministry. Pandering to fear was never a part of Jesus message, but Franklin Graham has about as much understanding of Jesus and his message as Jerry Falwell, Jim Bakker, and Jimmy Swaggart. What a shame that Franklin has soiled the name built so solidly by his father, pandering to the snake oil peddlers of the "Moral Majority"! Pass the loot, right Franklin?

THIS is what counts as NEWS???

Franklin Graham is just leeching off his father's name and reputation. He and his sister never had to hold a REAL job. They never had to EARN anything on their own. Now, he's just trying to say something to get his name in the news. But, it's just more of the bigoted garbage we become used to hearing from him.

Franklin, your 15 minutes are about up. And, remember that Satan holds a special place for hypocrites.

Another crooked Evangelical millionaire.who inherited his job and money from his less than holy daddy. "Billy" sat down with Nixon and discussed what to do about the Jewish problem ala Goebbels and Herr Hitler. When he was revealed as doing so, he apologised to the Jews and they foolishly accepted it. You would think they learned their lesson with the Murdering Hitler in WW 2.

My question: why should anyone care what Franklin Graham thinks? He has his one vote, and he can cast it as his conscience dictates.

Well, that is the thing. There are many folks defined as famous or important and most of the time it is only to a small segment of society. Questioning why folks care about Billy Graham's son thinks is the same as why some folks wondered why folks mourned the death of Hutchens.

All religion or lack thereof aside, Christopher Hitchens was an acclaimed journalist and a highly intelligent individual. What exactly has Franklin Graham done, other than cash in on the family name, that makes him a voice worth listening to?

Mr. Graham the younger is but a disgrace to his father and to the faith he purports to advocate. Nothing but a partisan hack; very much unlike his father.

    Dear Franklin,

    Please respond to the following:

Quick and to the heart of the situation:

    • There was no Abraham i.e. the foundations of Judaism, Christianity and Islam are non-existent.

    • There was no Moses i.e the pillars of Judaism, Christianity and Islam have no strength of purpose.

    • There was no Gabriel i.e. Islam fails as a religion. Christianity partially fails.

    • There was no Easter i.e. Christianity completely fails as a religion.

    • There was no Moroni i.e. Mormonism is nothing more than a business cult.

    • Sacred/revered cows, monkey gods, castes, reincarnations and therefore Hinduism fails as a religion.

    • Fat Buddhas here, skinny Buddhas there, reincarnated Buddhas everywhere makes for a no on Buddhism.

    Add details are available.
