Reblogged this on Elvis Gospel and commented:
'God is the bigger Elvis', according to nun Dolores Hart, once co-star of Elvis. Need I say more about Elvis being a modern day saint?

It is nice, in this day and age, to see someone make a commitment and keep it. It sounds like Ms. Hart found something that she believed was a worthwhile way to spend her life - a devotion to a values-based existence. More power to her. And I agree: She had the prettiest dress on the red carpet - worn with dignity.

Prayer can cause heart attacks, especially among the elderly.
Prayer reveals how stupid you are to the world.
Prayer exposes your backside to pervert priests.
Prayer makes you think doilies are exciting.
Prayer makes you secretively flatulent and embarrassed about it.
Prayer makes your kids avoid spending time with you.
    Prayer gives you knobbly knees.

You are a pathetic lost soul, right now. But you could be saved ... if you humble yourself before GOD, through fervent prayer and repentence. No response, Please!

Will it change a light bulb?

      February 28, 2012 at 4:46 pm |
    • Nope

The statistical studies from the nineteenth century and the three CCU studies on prayer are quite consistent with the fact that humanity is wasting a huge amount of time on a procedure that simply doesn’t work. Nonetheless, faith in prayer is so pervasive and deeply rooted, you can be sure believers will continue to devise future studies in a desperate effort to confirm their beliefs.

The invention of the light bulb must be credited to the knowledge God gave mankind, because someone asked God for it. So the answer would be yes, prayer has changed light bulbs.
