He is not a real rabbi . This is an Arab dressed as a Chasidic person. He is not speaking Hebrew, he is speaking Arabic.
Just Arabic propaganda. Arabs are the true occupiers in the middle east . They don't tolerate anyone else . Ask the Kurds.
There are 50 millions Kurds and they don't have there own country. Jordon is the true Palestine homeland.

  3. stupid people believe what they don't understand because they don't read, or don't know how - which is worse?

I may be cruel, but you shall love me as God. In the word of God. Praise be to God. And all that mumbo jumbo. Thanks be to me for reminding you that even God hates you. So smile and remember, under his tyranny you will never be free! Quote any part of the Bible you like, it will make no difference. If you believe in God then the history of God is your basis for belief. How can one make claims to without full knowledge of? With full knowledge how is it that any believe unless they already harbor hatred for a great many? Answer – most have never read the Bible. Those who have made one of two choices – ratiionalize it and believe based on interpretations or deny it and not believe. What do you get from this?

Religion serves its purpose...and sometimes the results are for the worse, sometimes the better. I am an atheist, but have no quarrel with any faith follower that lives and lets live. They have their opinion(s) and I have mine.

Evolved, you worship men (meaning women too) that taught you what you've been writing. If you state not, then I am to guess you concocted all your writing on your own (LOL). You're conditioned to play the game of man.

[Quran 3:6] He is the One who shapes you in the wombs as He wills. There is no other god besides Him; the Almighty, Most Wise.
[Quran 67:2] The One who created death and life for the purpose of distinguishing those among you who would do better.* He is the Almighty, the Forgiving.
[Quran 82:7] The One who created you, designed you, and perfected you.
[Quran 6:116] If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of God. They follow only conjecture; they only guess.
[Quran 40:62] Such is God your Lord, the Creator of all things. There is no god except He. How could you deviate?

[Quran 22:74] They do not value God as He should be valued. God is the Most Powerful, the Almighty.
“They even attribute to Him sons and daughters, without any knowledge. Be He glorified. He is the Most High, far above their claims.” Quran [6:100]
“The example of Jesus, as far as GOD is concerned, is the same as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, "Be," and he was.” Quran [3:59]

A concept about "God" is not God. Most talk themselves into believing only because there is something they can get out of it. Just because people keep asking for things and sometimes get what they want, means only one thing – people are lacking and unhappy. Most are miserable.
There are only two ways to be unhappy:
1 – Not to get you we think we "want".
2 – To get you we think we "want".

      March 2, 2012 at 12:24 pm |
    • Jesus

The statistical studies from the nineteenth century and the three CCU studies on prayer are quite consistent with the fact that humanity is wasting a huge amount of time on a procedure that simply doesn’t work. Nonetheless, faith in prayer is so pervasive and deeply rooted, you can be sure believers will continue to devise future studies in a desperate effort to confirm their beliefs.

      March 2, 2012 at 8:14 pm |
    • just sayin

Not so, archaeology is constant confirming the accuracy of the Holy Bible and recent discoveries of ancient copies are shown to be accurate to the texts we have today. Paraphrases are not meant to be accurate translations, but there are several good Bibles wherein scholars of ancient languages have gone back to the oldest known texts for translations. Even so, Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic do not always translate easily into English.

      @just saying

Archeology doesn't have a lot to say, key stories like the Exodus never happened. If mentioning and existing place is proof then I guess the folktales of Greece and it's cities prove the Greek Pantheon exist....and so your argument fails. You have no originals of anything in the Bible. The earliest manuscripts all conflict with one another and have discrepancies. Bibles are best guess work of these manuscripts. Keyword.....GUESS. Again, we have no originals, and we have no idea who even wrote the gospels.

The very heart of your writing wshlit appearing reasonable initially, did not really settle properly with me personally after some time. Somewhere throughout the paragraphs you actually managed to make me a believer but only for a very short while. I however have got a problem with your jumps in logic and you might do nicely to help fill in those breaks. When you can accomplish that, I could definitely be fascinated.

Enjoy your time in the Sun. We mortals, only exist, because conditions are right for a split moment in an Eternity. All conditions will change. Change is the only constant. We do not know, with any degree of certainty, if our whole known Universe is not just a spec in some cosmic petri dish. So, it is possible that we don’t exist at all, because there is probably no microscope powerful enough, on that level. Galaxies will collide. Our Sun will die. And like this post, all our ideologies, ideas, thoughts, opinions, believes, laws, struggles, etc., are meaningless. All will pass into oblivion. We don’t like to admit, but we (God’s people) are not much different from yeast, just before the fermentation process had reached 12% alcohol level. Be grateful and content in this moment. Enjoy your time in the Sun.

      So true, and thankfully so.

Oblivion is preferable to an eternity of subservience!

Revel in reality while it lasts!

      March 2, 2012 at 11:59 am |
    • Bo

@ William: I wonder what your conception of subservience in eternity might be like that it would be so disagreeable; although, unless there is a change of belief, you really have nothing to be concerned about. In fact, I wonder where any of the false concepts of any religion come from, which atheists come up with. Some of the stuff I just pass off as sarcasm, but I can only answer for Christianity.

      She danced
Each jewel on her gown flying outward
      Perhaps never to return
Each shiny gem in a cloud of total darkness
      She danced and she sang
Her gown twirling like a pinwheel faster and faster still
      Soon to become many
      And many to become light
And that light to become trillions of sparkles
      Still she danced
And now the swirls were as giants dancing
And the dancing giants would collide in beautiful confusion
And forever the spinning would last
      Until it stopped.

      @Uncouth Swain
Thank you, for that informative remark. Billy from Brooklyn was saying something in 3rd grade, if I am not mistaken, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was. Can you please ask Ecclesiates to repeat what it is he was saying, especially if it would help me getting more than 12% alcohol from fermentation, before all yeast is dead? Pretty please?

      March 2, 2012 at 2:05 pm |

Don't fret, my friend. I read all kinds of fairy tales. Oblivion does not care one way or another. Don't make any plans; we came out of it for a split moment and we'll go back for the rest of Eternity. It is the womb we came out of. It is not so bad, no one ever came back and complain about it. Enjoy the ride!

      March 2, 2012 at 5:33 pm |
    • Uncouth Swain

@Ykcyc- "I read all kinds of fairy tales."

I'm sure you do..I have no doubt of it in fact. On the topic of Ecc., some would consider it a book on philosophy or theology. It doesn't tell a tale little one.

"Oblivion does not care one way or another."

But you seem to for some odd reason.

      "Don't make any plans;"

So...I shouldn't plan on your responding to this?

"..we'll go back for the rest of Eternity."

But what is eternity? If their were no witnesses. does eternity still exist?

      March 2, 2012 at 6:58 pm |
    • EvolvedDNA

Uncouth...you came into existence from a universe that was in existence eons before anyone was conscious to see it...yet we are here. Do you remember the long period before you came into being? that is your fate again ....The universe is not eternal..it may take an unimaginably long time to disappear but it will evaporate back into radiation..last thing to go would be the smallest micro black holes.... and then it may start again....Enjoy you fun in the sun...
