Hi there, simply was alert to your weblog thru Google, and found that it is really informative. I'm going to watch out for brussels. I'll appreciate if you continue this in future. Lots of other people will probably be benefited out of your writing. Cheers!
Thanks , I've just been looking for information about this topic for ages and yours is the best I've found out so far. However, what concerning the conclusion? Are you sure concerning the supply?|What i do not understood is if truth be told how you are not actually a lot more smartly-favored than you may be now. You are very intelligent.
Prayer changes things..
`Prayer doesn’t not; you are so full of crap and lies. You have NO proof it changes anything! A great example of prayer proven not to work is the Christians in jail because prayer didn't work and their children died. For example: Susan Grady, who relied on prayer to heal her son. Nine-year-old Aaron Grady died and Susan Grady was arrested.
An article in the Journal of Pediatrics examined the deaths of 172 children from families who relied upon faith healing from 1975 to 1995. They concluded that four out of five ill children, who died under the care of faith healers or being left to prayer only, would most likely have survived if they had received medical care.
The statistical studies from the nineteenth century and the three CCU studies on prayer are quite consistent with the fact that humanity is wasting a huge amount of time on a procedure that simply doesn’t work. Nonetheless, faith in prayer is so pervasive and deeply rooted, you can be sure believers will continue to devise future studies in a desperate effort to confirm their beliefs! ..
Fraud alert avoid fake Jesus posts
"Fraud alert avoid fake Jesus posts"
Thanks for continuing to prove Christians like you are liars and my posts are correct because of your desperation
Prayer is something that can be neither proven or disproven. When some one prays and it comes true two things are possible. One, god heard the prayer and intervened(if we imagine there is a god for a moment). Two, the event came true in light of the prayer and in no connection to the prayer.
Talking like this gets us no where. We should instead talk about things we can test such as placebo effects. I don't know what prayer Is the work of god or not but I do know that it has some powerful placebo effects.
Prayer does not need to be real for it to be a good coping mechanism. There are times where prayer has helped people get through a situation because it helps them cope with the situation better (i.e., believing your going to get better has effects whether you get better or not, to some degree). I agree that there are situations in which prayer should not be used such as medical because placebo effects can only do so much.
Prayer responsibly and note that we don have evidence for or against prayer. Prayer does make be official placebo.

Prayer does make a good placebo* I apologize for the horrible grammar.

HE IS RISEN !
I'll bet that just lyin is in bed right now, screwing its little partner.
Nice of you to worry . God bless
Just lyin claims to be a great believer. Yet not a single day passes without multiple postings from this fraudulent moron.
I'd love to see it describe any act of kindness or sacrifice it's committed, even once.
It's nothing but a lying troll.
Come and see. God bless
Come and see what? A lying hypocrite who's never contributed a thing? Who's never sacrificed a thing? Who's nothing but a phony? Who doesn't believe a word it's posting? Who's a troll and nothing more? Who is a worthless POS?
Yeah. Crickets chirping. That's what I expected from a craven little coward like just lyin.
Merle-Wishing you many more happy returns!!
What better than to hear from someone like you who is thankful to the Almighty Creator. Keep on,keeping on!

Lucian (circa 120-after 180) Greek writer and rhetorician.
"The Christians, you know, worship a man to this day the distinguished personage who introduced their novel rites, and was crucified on that account..."
Thallus (AD 52,)
"On the whole world there pressed a most fearful darkness; and the rocks were rent by an earthquake, and many places in Judea and other districts were thrown down. This darkness Thallus, in the third book of his History, calls, as appears to me without reason, an eclipse of the sun."
Tacitus (A.D. c.55-A.D. c.117, Roman historian)
"Consequently, to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular."
The Talmud
"On the eve of the Passover Yeshu was hanged. For forty days before the execution took place, a herald went forth and cried, "He is going forth to be stoned because he has practiced sorcery and enticed Israel to apostasy. Any one who can say anything in his favor, let him come forward and plead on his behalf." But since nothing was brought forward in his favor he was hanged on the eve of the Passover!"
Pliny the Younger governor of Bithynia in Asia Minor. AD 112.
"They (the Christians) were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food but food of an ordinary and innocent kind."
Flavius Josephus (AD 37?-101?)
"Festus was now dead, and Albinus was but upon the road; so he assembled the sanhedrim of judges, and brought before them the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ, whose name was James, and some others, [or, some of his companions]; and when he had formed an accusation against them as breakers of the law, he delivered them to be stoned: but as for those who seemed the most equitable of the citizens, and such as were the most uneasy at the breach of the laws, they disliked what was done."

The Crowd:
"Tell us! Tell us both of them!"
Brian:
"Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!"
The Crowd:
"Yes! We're all individuals!"
Chad,
All of your cited historians are only telling about what the Christians *claimed* about their hero - their beliefs, practices and rituals. Thallus also told about how Cronus was a head god of the T'itans, you know, and how he waged war against Zeus. The Talmud is describing perhaps one of many Yeshus who preached in that era.
Ever noticed you never get gifted scientists giving thier "Jesus Saved Me" story. It's always reformed criminals, showmen televangalists or dimwit footballers. Wonder why that is?
Once upon a time, Jesus saved me. I lived happily ever after. 😉
GS, prove it. What is your discipline in science, and what are your qualifications in it?

Chad. what does this list .prove? we are fully aware that scientists come from all walks of life and backgrounds..did they prove the science wrong after they started talking religion, or get more secrets of life from the bible?
@a person of the Name
"just because you were raised in a religious doesn't make you religious."
Agree, 100%. Was only saying not to assume that we are totally blind to what religion is or what it preaches.
"Looking for God is not just reading the Bible its so much deeper then that. Its prayer, fasting, and including God in your life as you walk your way though it."
I think it's possible to read the bible, pray, fast, and include God in your life, and still not be a true believer, so actions alone are not going to do it.
"We each have to accept God for ourselves."
Here is where belief comes in. It seems in order to believe that the bible and your God is true, you need to first believe it's true. To me, that's just a logical fail.
Omg, did it again.
Lol your ok friend. You are wrong in part of it. Faith is proven though deed and action, because the tonge can lie. There is even those who do it in churchs but watch they're deeds and you will see the truth. I've seen too many things to know it as truth. God will reviel Himself to you when it time. Anouther beware of some churches not all preach the word.
When you are wrong so many times on a simple thing like posting your hate on an anonymous blog, have you considered that you are wrong about God as well? God bless
@just sayin
"When you are wrong so many times on a simple thing like posting your hate on an anonymous blog, have you considered that you are wrong about God as well?"
Maybe. But I doubt it.
And btw, I don't hate you, or any other believer. I just think you people are silly. Silly I tell you.
@just: peace man.
Without hate there would be no atheism. God bless
@just sayin
"Without hate there would be no atheism."
Without hate, all religions would live happily together ever after. 😐
"Without hate, all religions would live happily together ever after."
Meant to say, "Without atheism, all religions would live happily ever after."
I need some coffee. Meet me at Starbucks just sayin? You're buying. 😉
The Bible is quite clear that Christians shall know one another by their love. All other forms of religion are false and hate may well have a part in them. At the foundation of atheism is hate. God bless
@just sayin
You might want to keep that faith (that the foundation of atheism is hate).. It's certainly not true, but it may be helpful in your case to pretend that it is.. The reason I say that is because sooner or later you're bound to realize that there's just no good reason to believe in a personal god.. And when that happens, if you keep the faith on hatred being the foundation for atheism, you won't take that label.. We sure wouldn't want that.
Ahhahhha. If Christians are known by their love, then what happened to you, just sayin? Hypocrite, heal thyself.
@Tom Tom
It would not be love if I told you a lie. Truth is always love, just because you hate and hate Truth do not assume your opinion extends to everyone. Truth is for the strong. God bless
Oh, nonsense. You wouldn't know real love if it walked up and kicked you in the ass.
What really cracks me up is your insistence that YOU'RE an example of a 'good Christian', you freakin' fake. You haven't done a thing for anyone else that requires any REAL sacrifice on your part. If you were truly a servant of Christ, you wouldn't be here, indulging yourself. You'd be off your ass, giving shelter to the homeless, food to the hungry, and comfort to the sick. You're nothing but pure ego, you little shit.
One does not do good works to brag about them before men nor exhibit them pridefully. You have no idea what I do or don't do. God bless
Instead, you lying hypocrite, you are here because you enjoy it, not because it is doing any good whatsoever. The 'real' Christians aren't here tonight, you lying sack of poo. They're in church, kneeling and worshipping. They're in soup kitchens serving food to the homeless. They're in nursing homes and hospitals, keeping the lonely and the sick company.
You're here because it gives you pleasure. It's nothing more than masturation for you. Need some KY?

My goodness I must have really left a mark on you Tom, Tom you're stuttering. God bless
"You have no idea what I do or don't do." Bull. I can see what you do, every day. You're a lying sack of excrement impersonating a Christian.
Knock it off, liar. If there's a God, He sees you.
Tell yourself whatever massages your G-spot, honey. God knows the truth.
You poor bitter, misunderstood, hate filled waif Tom, Tom . I feel sooooo sorry for you. Who do you feel sorry for? God bless
Nice try, troll. Everyone knows what you really are.
Just as suspected Tom,Tom feels sorry for itself Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, poor widdle Tom, Tom. God bless
What a laugh that you have to lie to yourself, just sayin. I am happy. I live a good life. I have a career that allows me to serve. I have a loving husband who adores me as I adore him.
What do YOU have, other than this forum?
What was the last thing you did for someone else that didn't involve the internet, just lying? When was the last time you lifted a finger, literally, to help anyone?
Go ahead, brag about it. If you did it, you should be proud to tell about it. Why is it you don't ever talk about your contributions? Your sacrifices? Your giving? Your love manifest?
Yeah, I figured, you lying creep.
Yeah you're a door all right.That is why you are always here spewing lies and hate. Everybody believes you. All together now Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww poor widdle Tom,Tom
Always here? I haven't been here for a week, you idiot.
Says much about your awareness of the passage of time.
In an entire week you've done NOT A SINGLE THING for anyone else.
Prove otherwise.
We know, I left such a mark on you, you crawled under a rock, but we all saw you popping up from time to time as you waited for the hurt to abate. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww . God bless
You're a sad little sack of sh ite, honey. Go ahead and show your proof. Why is it you can't post any of your Christian acts? Your sacrifices? Your contributions?
You can't.
There aren't any.
Unlike my proof that you're a lying sack of crap who is no more a Christian than a dog's a zz.
Well? Come on, Super-Christian. Where's your litany of accomplishments? What are you gonna show St. Peter at the pearly gates, you little impostor?
As if you can show a single good you've done.
More crickets chirping. Figures. Just lyin is nothing more than a teen-aged troll who's out partying tonight after indulging himself here. He/she hasn't ever done a single thing to help another being. The only thing the little twit cares about is its own pleasure and satisfaction.
Proof positive.
Hmmm, it's Saturday night. One can only surmise that just lyin is out having a high old time tying one on and bouncing some chick. And tomorrow that little hypocrite will go to Easter services and pretend to be a pious believer.
Good luck with that, just lyin. God sees you.
Wow ya'll really got down while I was gone. Lol
@just confrontation solves nothing and drives a wedge between you and God.
If they want to pick a fight let them pick it but we are not to pick back. That doesn't mean to not stand up for what you believe but it does mean when they go to pick a fight with you its best to walk away. May God bring peace to your heart.
@just sayin
"Without hate there would be no atheism. God bless"
It's true that some people are driven away from religion by the irrational hatred displayed by christians such as yourself toward anyone who doesn't believe as you do. However, the root cause of most atheism is the fact that there isn't a single shred of evidence to support the existence of any god. There isn't a single logical reason for a rational person to believe in any god.
@Tallulah
You miss my meaning or deliberately twist my words. To be an atheist you must first be a liar and second filled with hate. We have already established Truth and love as Christian values. You all represent the opposite. President George H W Bush has said an atheist is not a patriot and should not be a citizen of the USA. We are one nation under God. God bless
Even on Easter morning, just sayin? You are incredibly disgusting.
@another repentant sinner
"Prayer changed my life, prayer changed Merle Haggard and pray has changes lots of people, more every day . That is real history, prayer changing lives."
YOU changed your life. MERLE changed his life. Don't know why you seem to think that prayer was required to do it. Billions of others change their life without prayer. Prayer is NOT a requirement to make changes in your life. If you want to be a better person, just do it.
Grrrrrrrr. Was suppose to have been a reply. Hate when that happens.
Prayer changed my life. You did not read the article did you? Prayer changed Merle Haggards life also. Too bad you are so bitter and frustrated, especially on Easter weekend. Prayer does change things.
"Prayer does change things."
No, it doesn't there is NO proof that it does.
"oo bad you are so bitter and frustrated, especially on Easter weekend"
That is a total lie, that is what you are reading into our posts. You can't even follow the bible, what a hypocrite.
The Bible tells us prayer changes things and gives lots of examples of things changed. Nothing hypocritical in that at all.
Now all you have to do is prove "cause and effect" or shut the fu up!
"The Bible tells us prayer changes things and gives lots of examples of things changed. Nothing hypocritical in that at all."
The bible is not a historical book, it's a work of fiction and that has been proven. What has been proven is prayer is a waste of time and it's all in your head.
@another repentant sinner
"The Bible tells us prayer changes things and gives lots of examples of things changed. Nothing hypocritical in that at all."
Harry Potter gives examples of spells and what they do, are you going to tell me that those spells are true because they are in a book? Quoting a book that is fiction is pointless.
Care to give an example of a prayer of yours that had changed something?
Prayer changed my life, prayer changed Merle Haggard and pray has changes lots of people, more every day . That is real history, prayer changing lives.
@another: all we have is our testimony and we know what God has done for us.
These ppl on here claim reason, without ever looking for God themselves.
Hold stong in your walk, and always remember where God brought us from. He's so great and greatly to be praised!
@a person of the Name
"These ppl on here claim reason, without ever looking for God themselves."
Every atheist I know was raised up in a religious family. I've looked, and fail to see ANY evidence that YOUR God, or any other exists.
@yeahok: just because you were raised in a religious doesn't make you religious. Looking for God is not just reading the Bible its so much deeper then that. Its prayer, fasting, and including God in your life as you walk your way though it. We each have to accept God for ourselves. Although someone can intercede for you at times but to have that walk and deep relationship you have to look for yourself.
I mean no disrepect this is just facts. I too was raised around religion and
Atheism but I walked away from God for many years, thinking He didn't care or wasn't even there. Later though when I decided to truely look for Him I found Him and though I still stuggle with my past my walk with Him is storger because of it. May God bless you.
Prayer changes things
~Prayer doesn’t not; you are so full of crap and lies.
Things prayer changes... Nothing.
