(CNN) - Mel Gibson frequently spews "looney, rancid" anti-Semitism, has talked about killing his former girlfriend, and is prone to hate-filled diatribes slamming everyone from John Lennon to Walter Cronkite, according to a screenwriter who has been working with him.

Joe Eszterhas, who wrote a screenplay about the Jewish hero Judah Maccabee for Gibson, recounts numerous alleged incidents in detail in a nine-page letter to Gibson published by the website thewrap.com.

In a letter replying to Eszterhas, Gibson denies the allegations, saying most of the claims are fabricated.

Actually, I feel sorry for Mel and tens and hundreds of millions like him who rely upon man-made religions to direct their decisions and lives. Do men and nations judge other men without first hearing their testimony? Yet, men will judge God without first hearing His testimony, which He hand-delivered by His only begotten Son. (note: 99% of Christians have never read the entire Bible, or even the New Testament, or even the Gospels, or even the book of Jude, which is one page).

I don't believe the writer. Do you know why? Because Mel Gibson is smarter than that. I don't think he'd shoot himself in the foot twice. I think he and the writer had a falling out and the writer decided to exploit his previous anti-semitism bomb.

    • Atheism is not healthy for children and other living things

Prayer changes otherwise intelligent and rational people into believing they can talk to an imaginary super friend.

*~Prayer doesn’t not; you are such a LIAR. You have NO proof it changes anything! A great example of prayer proven not to work is the Christians in jail because prayer didn't work and their children died. For example: Susan Grady, who relied on prayer to heal her son. Nine-year-old Aaron Grady died and Susan Grady was arrested.

An article in the Journal of Pediatrics examined the deaths of 172 children from families who relied upon faith healing from 1975 to 1995. They concluded that four out of five ill children, who died under the care of faith healers or being left to prayer only, would most likely have survived if they had received medical care.

The statistical studies from the nineteenth century and the three CCU studies on prayer are quite consistent with the fact that humanity is wasting a huge amount of time on a procedure that simply doesn’t work. Nonetheless, faith in prayer is so pervasive and deeply rooted, you can be sure believers will continue to devise future studies in a desperate effort to confirm their beliefs!

  12. Real Mel Gibson quote

"There is no salvation for those outside the Church ... I believe it. Put it this way. My wife is a saint. She's a much better person than I am. Honestly. She's... Episcopalian, Church of England. She prays, she believes in God, she knows Jesus, she believes in that stuff. And it's just not fair if she doesn't make it, she's better than I am. But that is a pronouncement from the chair. I go with it."[

I believe that you are a part of a compain to discredit Mel Gibson for his take on the film about Jesus that THE CENSORSHIP felt should have been done differently. Your attacks on Mel are similar to attacks or actions against people who dare to speak the truth as they see it.Helen Thomas. Jimmy Carter, even CNN's own Rick Sanchez paid heavily for daring to speak the truth. So pretend it is something else , but I know better.

Trolling, it is a kind of power rush or ego trip to be a troll. Being online is a place that is largely free of perceived consequences... an insecure person can get a sense of power online, without ever having to face someone directly. With the Internet being a world of imagination and fantasy for some, cowardly users can forge an alter ego for themselves, and act out their feelings of anger and inadequacy. It's sad and unfortunate that our advanced communications also brings out the darker side of many people.
