Evangelist Billy Graham hospitalized

By the CNN Wire Staff

Updated Monday 5:30 a.m.

(CNN) - Evangelist Billy Graham was admitted to a hospital overnight for treatment of a pulmonary infection believed to be bronchitis, a North Carolina hospital and his evangelistic association said.

"Upon admission, he was alert and in good spirits," said the statement, which was released both by Mission Hospital in Asheville and the The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

The 93-year-old also was hospitalized for pneumonia last November, six months after similarly being admitted to a hospital for the same condition. Since then, he has remained "in good overall health ... though he continues to remain at home due to age-related conditions," according to the hospital and the association.

Many prayers for Rev.Graham & his family. Some day all will face God's judgement & every knee will bow. Praying for all who claim unbelief, they are in for a big surprise.

      Sue B,
"Praying for all who claim unbelief, they are in for a big surprise."

So might you be - like if Ra is the real god, and your heart has to be weighed against Ma'at's feather...
or if it's Allah, and you have not done your pillars....
or if it's one of the 10s of thousands of other gods conjured up by folks over the eons.

Prayer does not; you are such a LIAR. You have NO proof it changes anything! A great example of prayer proven not to work is the Christians in jail because prayer didn't work and their children died. For example: Susan Grady, who relied on prayer to heal her son. Nine-year-old Aaron Grady died and Susan Grady was arrested.

An article in the Journal of Pediatrics examined the deaths of 172 children from families who relied upon faith healing from 1975 to 1995. They concluded that four out of five ill children, who died under the care of faith healers or being left to prayer only, would most likely have survived if they had received medical care.

The statistical studies from the nineteenth century and the three CCU studies on prayer are quite consistent with the fact that humanity is wasting a huge amount of time on a procedure that simply doesn’t work. Nonetheless, faith in prayer is so pervasive and deeply rooted, you can be sure believers will continue to devise future studies in a desperate effort to confirm their beliefs! ~

  4. Jesus is the most powerful figure known to mankind (Fact)

John 8:47-"He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."

John 3:18-"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

John 8:44-"You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

Matthew 13:38-"The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one,

John 3:16-"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

2 Corinthians 4:3-4-"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."

It is very simple unbelievers do not belong to GOD. I know it sucks really really bad but this is the reality of truth. Now atheist you understand why it is impossible for you to believe, it is because you are already condemned. You are blinded by your father. You are not of GOD but of the devil, and the devil along with his seed shall perish forever according to the word of GOD Almighty.

P.S. “I would rather live my life as if there is a god and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.” Albert Camus

Oh my, what are you talking about, dear? You need to get a good cup of tea and a newspaper, and leave all that praying and make-believe people behind and start being a productive atheist with a clear, strong mind, hon.

well men can talk other men into all kinds of things, like making a man feel forgiven for his grave deeds, such as killing, as long as he can get some money out of it for this convenient "forgiveness" of sin; my oh my.

Yea, a 93 being hospitalized due to a health condition. Sounds like a punishment to me. When you hit 93 and have no reason to be hospitalized let me know.

@Chris, maybe he should try "praying" and he won't need to be hospitalized anymore. I bet he'll reach his fantasy world much quicker that way I guess.

  16. Think-About-It

Why did Graham draw deep criticism when he said "Self-centered indulgence, pride and a lack of shame over sin are now emblems of the American lifestyle" ?
Those who criticize him for saying it are living in delusion!

  17. Confused face

I guess prayer doesn't change things. He will die. Not because of god but because that is the way it goes. I wish he were conscious on the other side when he realizes there is no god and that this is all there is.
