Pakistani police: Muslim cleric framed girl in Pakistan blasphemy case

From Nasir Habib, CNN

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) - Pakistani police say a Muslim cleric planted evidence to link a Christian girl to blasphemy - a new twist in a case that has fanned flames of religious tension in the country and attracted worldwide interest.

The imam, Khalid Jadoon Chishti, will himself face blasphemy charges for tearing pages out of a Quran to use as evidence against the girl, Islambad police chief Bin Yamin said.

The latest development may make it easier for the girl, 14-year-old Rimsha, to be released on bail at her next court hearing.

Police arrested Rimsha last month after a neighbor accused her of burning pages containing texts from the Muslim holy book, the Quran.

  3. NO INDIANS IN MY BACKYARD PLEASE

Goddess Kali's statue stands naked astride the inanimate body of the Hindu deity Shiva, tongue stuck out with blood dripping from fang-like teeth. She holds a noose, a skull-topped staff, a blood-encrusted sword and a severed head. Disgusting, to say the least. Would you want your kids growing up with such inspiration?

Meanwhile, goddess Panchali was married to five brothers. Which one would become the legitimate father of his child should she have one? Dr Charles (renowned author and an authority on India) says that instances of incest are common in Hindu scriptures. Decadent ! Immoral !

Talk about being between a rock and a hard place!!

sounds like Muslims are the perfect candidates, feed them all to Goddess Kali.

  4. NO INDIANS IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD PLEASE

If the Hindu man's wife dies, he is free to go and find another beautiful woman when he wants. But if the Hindu woman's husband dies, not only is she prohibited to remarry but she should be cremated along with her dead husband ("Sati").
When His "Holiness" Puri Shankaracharya was asked about the fate of the widow's children, he replied – "it is fate! Let the children suffer or die without a mother. But SATI has to be performed according to Hinduism".

  8. Joe from CT, not Lieberman

Why am I not surprised about this. There are many clerics in Pakistan who would love to "purge" the country of every non-Muslim within its borders. This includes the Christians, Sikhs, Ba'hai, Hindus (who make up over 10% of their population), Buddhists, Jain, etc. All part of a "vision" of religious purity that is the opposite of the reality of the era of the Caliphates of Baghdad and Cordoba when Islam welcomed scholars of all faiths.

HINDU KALI – GODDESS OF BLASPHEMY and TERRORISM

A recent report by United Press trust of India (UPI) stated that during the past three years more than 2,500 young boys and girls were sacrificed to goddess Kali in India. Another of AFP's recent reports say: hundreds of young boys and virgin girls are sacrificed every month for the deity Kali. In one case Rama Sewak hacked his eight year old son to death in broad daylight in Delhi because goddess Kali had told him he would come back to life and bring him good fortune. Bloodthirsty Kali is worshipped openly the length and breadth of India. Kali's statue stands naked astride the inanimate body of the Hindu deity Shiva, tongue stuck out with blood dripping from fang-like teeth. She holds a noose, a skull-topped staff, a blood-encrusted sword and a severed head. She is also known as Durga, Devi, Shaktima, Uma and Parvathi in other manifestations. The priest of Delhi, Kali Bari, says that a child sacrificed to Kali ensures a man the birth of a son. Human sacrifices are also made to these gods or goddesses, either to appease them or to ask favours of them.

sorry but the subject is about the blasphemy of Muslims in this article ... that is what is important for the moment.. we have a real harsh interpretation if Islam and justifiably so and will not tolerate another religion to hate until after you fly planes into our buildings sorry ...:) seriously sorry 🙂

Speaking of the cleric who blasphemed.... looks like he who first threw the stone is to get stoned...

proof Christianity works .. where as Islam fails ... religion should never be used as a weapon to kill..

about three years ago .. a similar attack was made on a Christian boy in Pakistan ... he was executed/ Murdered by a Islamic leader.. next thing I heard of the region was Rain and floods that took away much of that area ... Jesus was crying far that little boy!!!!! 🙂 🙂

Niddu. Are you so dumb you cannot even understand the subject of a discussion? That's what reading the Koran 5 times a day will do to your brain..Tut. Tut..

Also speaking of India, that report is just BS but agreed, there are loonies in every country/culture/religion. However islamic countries are the only ones that encode their stupidity in LAW like the one about blasphemy.. Get the difference?

@ christian : where was your jesus while this was happening?
religion is poison and children are often the victims.

"SEOUL, South Korea — South Korean police have arrested a Christian pastor and his wife over the deaths of their three children. The parents are accused of whipping and starving the children in an attempt to cast out demons.

The children's hands had been bound, BBC News reported.

Police said Monday that the couple was arrested Saturday after their 10-year daughter and two sons aged eight and five were found dead at their home in the southern county of Boseong.

Authorities say the couple told investigators they stopped feeding their children and beat them with a belt and a fly swatter to drive away evil spirits.

An autopsy indicated that the children had not eaten since January 23, the BBC reported, citing local journalists.

Investigators say the couple cited a Biblical proverb that reads "Do not withhold discipline from a child."

Police say the husband was pastor of an obscure Protestant congregation called Hyungjae (Brother) Church."

The so called "scientists" did nothing more than opinionate and mate claims for their theory. Evolutionists are not strong today, they are weak and getting weaker. The microbiological world denies evolution in favor of intelligent design. None of the people talking in the video did anything more than complain against creationism.

Just another example of the idiocy of Islam-

To my sister and brother Muslims,

What instigated the attack on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon?

And what drives today's 24/7 mosque/imam-planned acts of terror and horror?

ONLY FOR THE NEW MEMBERS OF THIS BLOG:

The koran, Mohammed's book of death for all infidels and Muslim domination of the world by any means. Muslims must clean up this book removing said passages admitting that they are based on the Gabriel myth and therefore obviously the hallucinations and/or lies of Mohammed. Then we can talk about the safety and location of mosques and what is taught therein.

Until then, no Muslim can be trusted anytime or anywhere..................................

    • Reality

      Reality is not a Hindu.

Putting the kibosh/”google” on religion to include Islam and Hinduism:

      • There was probably no Abraham i.e. the foundations of Judaism, Christianity and Islam are non-existent.

      • There was probably no Moses i.e the pillars of Judaism, Christianity and Islam have no strength of purpose.

      prob•a•bly
Adverb: Almost certainly; as far as one knows or can tell.

      • There was no Gabriel i.e. Islam fails as a religion. Christianity partially fails.

      • There was no Easter i.e. Christianity completely fails as a religion.

      • There was no Moroni i.e. Mormonism is nothing more than a business cult.

      • Sacred/revered cows, monkey gods, castes, reincarnations and therefore Hinduism fails as a religion.

      • Fat Buddhas here, skinny Buddhas there, reincarnated Buddhas everywhere makes for a no on Buddhism.

Added details available upon written request.

A quick search will put the kibosh on any other groups calling themselves a religion.

      e.g. Taoism

"The origins of Taoism are unclear. Traditionally, Lao-tzu who lived in the sixth century is regarded as its founder. Its early philosophic foundations and its later beliefs and rituals are two completely different ways of life. Today (1982) Taoism claims 31,286,000 followers.

Legend says that Lao-tzu was immaculately conceived by a shooting star; carried in his mother's womb for eighty-two years; and born a full grown wise old man. "

I'm sorry "Atheism is not healthy for children and other living things", but you assertions regarding atheism and prayer are unfounded. I see that you repeat these unfounded statements with high frequency. Perhaps the following book might help you overcome this problem:

Prayer changes otherwise sane rational people into lunatics, speaking to figments of their imagination for which their is no evidence of existing.
