'God' also absent from Democrats' platformBy Kevin Liptak, CNN (CNN) – Democrats omitted the word "God" from their 2012 platform, a change from the party's 2008 document and a noticeable split from Republicans, who mention God ten times in their official party stance. In 2008, Democrats wrote, "We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential." The paragraph extolling the value of hard work in 2012 reads, "We gather to reclaim the basic bargain that built the largest middle class and the most prosperous nation on Earth-the simple principle that in America, hard work should pay off, responsibility should be rewarded, and each one of us should be able to go as far as our talent and drive take us." I've often thought that, if you're looking at two or more political candidates and you want to know which one is the biggest liar, it tends to be the first one to invoke God or religion.

Democrats voted to update their party's platform Wednesday evening at their convention to include a reference to Jerusalem being the capital of Israel, as well as the insertion of the word "God," neither of which was included in their platform this year but was in previous platforms

JONATHAN POLLARD should remain a guest of the United States. What he stole:
"The information that Jonathan provided to Israel included Iranian, Iraqi, Libyan and Syrian nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare capabilities – all being developed for use against Israel. He also provided information on ballistic missile development by these countries and information on up-coming terrorist attacks planned against Israeli civilian targets. "
Israel felt entitled to this information, but was not entitled to steal it. Spies and thieves should be punished regardless of whether they were sent by a friend or sent by an enemy. Keeping Pollard in permanent custody will send a message to our friends and especially to our enemies that we will not tolerate spies and thieves.
It's hard to know what Pollard stole and who he passed it to. He's a favorite son of Israel now, but Israel may not have been his only client. Something worth reading from Wikipedia (see the associated references):

Totally agree. While I agree with the content of Scott's videos, they are space-wastes. And it leaves me VERY unimpressed with Scott's ability to speak for himself.

For those who's believe in a specific God who is not allowed to be challenged, I ask who gave us logic? From their beliefs it certainly was a mistake...from an infallible God???? Or maybe he (her or it) is just a mean bully? Maybe were to be confuse us so we can be punished! Bad little people! As one very intelligent man is reported to have said "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do", an amazingly intelligent man. Thanks for the video!
