Wow. And I thought that Christian Pastor, in Iran, was brave. I applaud these People for standing up for what they believe in . Some of the nicest people I have ever met, were Mormons. That's why Romney's, self serving, Greedy Policies, don't make sense, to me. Nuns on the bus, proved that doing the Right thing for the American People, doesn't have to collide with your faith, if you are doing what is best for all Americans, not the chosen few. Quit saying it has to do with envy , there are too many Millionaire Democrats, that don't care about the tax breaks that Republicans are drooling over. Dump the tea party.

As I imagine is similar in other faiths, it is hard for an active member of the LDS Church to publically maintain political views that fall more in line with the Democratic Party than the GOP. After seeing the self-serving policies that Romney and the GOP have adopted, there is no way I could vote for someone who aspouses such views – even if they subscribe to my same religious beliefs. It would violate my core values.
Mormons and Mormonism provides a beautiful argument for atheism, in giving a great example showing the nature of religious belief: Based on unreal fabrications, sprinkled with bizarre claims. Just because some religion happens to have been around 1,200, 1,800, or 3,200 years older than Mormonism doesn't actually make it any less fabricated and bizarre.

and so does teaching your children to be "good" because it makes for a better community & world. Being "good" for fear of judgment by god or being "good" as a means to make it into heaven, really isn't authentic goodness.
