Billy Graham site removes Mormon 'cult' reference after Romney meeting

(CNN) - Shortly after Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney enjoyed cookies and soft drinks with the Rev.  Billy Graham and his son Franklin Graham on Thursday at the elder Graham's mountaintop retreat, a reference to Mormonism as a cult was scrubbed from the website of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

In a section of the website called Billy Graham's My Answer there had been the question "What is a cult?"

Answer: "A cult is any group which teaches doctrines or beliefs that deviate from the biblical message of the Christian faith."

"Some of these groups are Jehovah's Witnesess, Mormons, the Unification Church, Unitarians, Spritualists, Scientologists, and others," the site continued.

No longer. On Tuesday, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association confirmed that page has recently been removed from the site.

“Our primary focus at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has always been promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ," Ken Barun, chief of staff for the association, told CNN in a statement. "We removed the information from the website because we do not wish to participate in a theological debate about something that has become politicized during this campaign."

Follow the CNN Belief Blog on Twitter

Romney is a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, members of which are known as Mormons.

The information about cults can be found on cached sections of the website on Archive.org from June 5, 2010.

The theological question of where Mormons fit on the religious spectrum has drawn more attention because of Romney's candidacy. Mormons consider themselves to be strong Christians. Many traditional Christian denominations disagree, though rank-and-file members have their own views on the matter.

The removal of the post from the Graham group's website was first noted by the New Civil Rights Movement website and then later by the Asheville Citizen-Times, which reported that the information on cults was accessed as recently as Thursday afternoon.

Last week's meeting between Romney and Graham was their first.

After the 30 minute sit-down in Montreat, North Carolina, just outside Asheville, Romney campaign spokesman Rick Gorka told reporters that Billy Graham led a prayer for the Romneys, saying "I'll do all I can to help you. And you can quote me on that."

The evangelist who has been called America's pastor and has prayed with every American president since Harry Truman said in a statement following the meeting that "It was a privilege to pray with Gov. Romney — for his family and our country."

Graham met with President Barack Obama in 2010 and with Sen. John McCain when he was the presumptive Republican presidential nominee in 2008.

"I will turn 94 the day after the upcoming election, and I believe America is at a crossroads," Graham's statement continued. "I hope millions of Americans will join me in praying for our nation and to vote for candidates who will support the biblical definition of marriage, protect the sanctity of life and defend our religious freedoms."

CNN’s Belief Blog: The faith angles behind the biggest stories

When asked about Graham's beliefs about Mormonism, Graham spokesman A. Larry Ross said in a statement that "Through an inclusive evangelistic ministry spanning more than 60 years, Mr. Graham was called to preach the transformative message of the Gospel to the whole world, regardless of one’s religious background, affiliation or none. As such, he never proselytized, targeted or labeled specific people, groups, faiths or denominations.

"Neither did Mr. Graham attempt to divide his audience before he had opportunity to preach to them. He has a genuine love for all people, and faithfully proclaimed the love of God to everyone, providing opportunity for them to respond by making a faith commitment.

"Mr. Graham’s calling is not to pass judgment, but to proclaim the biblical truth that Jesus is the only way to heaven, allowing every individual and group to fall along that plumb line," the statement went on.

"He further stressed that salvation is the work of Almighty God, and that only He knows what is in each human heart," the statement said.

The Southern Baptist Convention, the nation's largest Protestant denomination, lists the LDS Church as a theological cult.  The Catholic Church also does not recognize Mormon baptisms as being theologically compatible with its own.

The LDS Church has long bristled at being called a cult.  Mormons note the many similarities and overlap between their teachings and that of other churches but point to their belief in other scriptures like the Book of Mormon as the reason they split with other churches.

In the 2012 campaign Romney has been generally quiet about his church, though his role as a lay church leader was prominently featured in the Republican National Convention, and his campaign has allowed members of the press pool accompanying Romney to film him attending services.

Please go to http://www.lds.org to see what we really believe. Or just ask a mormon- you probably know one. Go to the source, Don't judge us by watching a video made by someone who obviously does not like us or wants people to think we are crazy. Judge for yourself by going to the source. Thanks

Graham's just trying to get in good with the new Bossman. Mormons are Gods-in-waiting. Sort of like princes...Upon a Mormon's coronation, He's assigned a planet to lord over. The reason Romney's been running for President the last 50 years is so he can convince the Planet Assigner to transfer God to some other planet and assign him Earth. Would have the superior resume. Whatever God did to get the gig, he sure wasn't President of the most powerful country on Earth.

People, we are effectively voting for a new God..

Billy Graham led a prayer for the Romneys, saying "I'll do all I can to help you. And you can quote me on that."

Has Billy Graham gone senile??!! This is outrageous!!

The ONLY reason why I and my three sons still have decent paying jobs, and the ONLY reason why I haven't lost my home to the very people who robbed this country, is Barack Obama!!

Mitt Romney, on the other hand, would've left me and my family jobless and out on the street!!!!!!!

How can any Christian vote for a guy who made a career out of being a vicious and cold-blooded corporate pirate?!! Mitt Romney is an extremely wealthy man who made a 'killing' destroying people's lives! He literally stole thousands and thousands of Hard-Earned retirement funds and pensions!!! Romney made an art out of it!!!

Ny fellow Americans, I know things aren't great, but, please, believe me when I tell you that Mitt Romney couldn't care less about anyone but himself and other extremely wealthy people!! The man is soul-less!!

Please, if you cannot vote for Obama, then vote for anyone else but Romney!!

Find out who Mitt really is. You must have gotten your information from someone who didn't like Mitt very much. He actually lived his life as a lay minister helping people find jobs, get food on their table, etc.. oh you are talking about his job at Bain Capital. Was he only thinking of money when he shut it down his entire company and flew 20 or more employees all expenses paid to help locate the missing girl of one of his employees? He is a man of character- don't judge him because he is wealthy, or because some people may have lost jobs when he was trying to fix something. He is not superman. But he tries and most of the time he is very successful.

I think something here needs to be clarified. No one is forced to terminate a pregnancy. It's up to the woman involved whether to take this step or not. And it may not be an easy choice. But if we make safe abortion illegal, people may have no other choice than to have this done by back alley butchers. If you want to read something extremely enlightening, read 'Motherhood in Bondage' by Margaret Sanger, published in 1928. Google it. I like the original version best, because it reflects the people & situations better than when it's typed out so neatly. The older edition doesn't seem to remove personalities as much, although the actual written letters would be better still.
Anyway, if you like, skip the forward & introduction & scroll down to the contents of the letters. These will break your heart. Many, many women of the day wrote to Mrs. Sanger out of the greatest desperation about their needs for birth control. I don't think that it was even legal to talk about back then. Many of these women were sick or old before their time, all because hey were not able to plan their family.
I myself have also looked over a county in my state's death records. A few women died of self-induced abortions. I'm sure it must have been a horrible way to die. How many other women died this way before Roe vs, Wade? Is that what we want to go back to?

Why is abortion even an issue with this guy?? He's a proven hypocrite on this issue!!
I guarantee all of you that if Romney is elected it won't bring the change that Christians are hoping for on this "issue"

The issue people should be more concerned with are the lies he tells about the economy and the hypocrisy he domonstrates in regards to it! Romney is widely known as the man who "pioneered vulture capitalism"! Romney is a man who made an art of sending jobs to China and elsewhere!! Romney is an "economic traitor"!! And a bold-faced liar!!

Don't be fooled with his bogus positions on abortion people, the guy has flip-flopped on the issue and continues to say whatever he thinks he needs to say in order to get what he wants. Romney doesn't care about anyone but his purse!

Vote! But, please, for the love of God, vote for anyone but Romney!!

This business with Billy Graham is scary. He doesn't look like he's of the right mind anymore and I'm afraid that Franklin is proving to be just another crooked televangelist! How can they side with a Mormon over a Christian?? I know everyone's saying it's about abortion, but please, give it a break! Romney's been officialy pro-choice and then pro-life too many times in front of too many people to believe him on that issue! And what about his Bain investments in companies that profit from it?? That doesn't matter as long as he *says* he's pro-life?? I don't get it and I think there's something fishy going on with all of it! Mormons are a cult. Period. And Romney's a lying filthy rich war monger! Shame on you Mr. Graham! I still aint voting for him!

Kill and persecute those that don't hold your point of view."True" Latter Day Saints(Mormons) believe in the highest and moral and ethical standards. We are admonished to be honest and honorable in all our dealings. We serve and die for our country so people like you might be free to spout off your pious hatred. I

There's no way I'm voting for Romney and a big part of it is because he's a Mormon!

Once again, Please visit http://www.lds.org to find out what we believe. Other sites just want people to hate the mormons. Or they might want to expose some mormon events that actually did happen but portray them in an unfair light. Mormons don't claim to be perfect, in fact we need Christ's atonement just as much or more than anyone. So is someone of our faith does something that seems horrible- they need Christ's forgiveness. Don't judge the whole church by what a member of it's congregation might do. You would appreciate the same I am sure. 🙂

Huebert, that's not what it is. For a Christian, it is a betrayal of our beliefs. Mormon's aren't just "Not Christian". They're anti-Christian. And, historically, they're very anti-American.
Mitt Romney's religion say an extreme amount about his character and his credibility. For a Christian it says he has No character, and absolutely No credibility. The reasons for this are many and quite varied. But, it's clear to me that he embraced one of the most disconcerting Mormon practices of all, and that is it's bizzare and oxymoronic concept of "Lying for the Lord". The man has been shown time and again to be an outright liar who will say anything in order to get what he wants. The prospect of having a Mormon president should terrify all Christians, and I think it's appalling that any Christian is supporting him.

Lol! Being a Mormon is just one of the reasons not to vote for him. There are a LOT of other very important things wrong with this guy too! Like how he's now chumming around with Dick Cheney, Condy Rice and John Sununu, and all the other Bushies that are running his campaign behind the scenes!! This guy lied when he said he wouldn't be anything like Bush!

I suggest that anyone who's thinking of voting for him to take a look at how many Bush neocons are a part of his campaign, and then ask yourselves if you really want to go THAT route again!!! Romney = Dubya 2.0!!

Mormanism is a cult, but I am voting & campaining for Romney as he comes closer to Christian principals than Obama. I pray that they will find the truth of the base of orthodox Christianity (Catholic/Evangelical/Orthodox) as stated in Chuch Colson's book
"The Faith". I think the Graham's were wrong is dislisting the cult references , but I will still participate in packing Christmas shoeboxes for Samaritans Purse. I am also making calls for Romney at Republican Headquaters .
We can win this election for Family values without compromising our Faith . Go Romney/Ryan !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your rationalization is absurd and sacrilegious! And I don't believe for a second that you're being honest.
How can you say, with a straight face, that a filthy rich Mormon Bishop and "Stake Leader" – who believes Satan to be the son of God and that, when he dies, he will become a god himself – can ever possibly be "closer to Christian principals than Obama"?? Especially since Obama IS a Christian?? Mr. Romney has travelled all across this great country soiling it with a vile vindictiveness towards the sick and the poor! He came right out nad stated that he couldn't care less about them!! He scapegoats them on behalf of the wealthiest!! He demands that any and all programs that help them be abolished!! And he wants to see them 'kicked-to-the-curb' and grovelling at his feet!!

Christ commands us to care for the sick and the poor and those who are less fortunate than you and I, and he clearly stated that it is utterly impossible for men such as Romney who worship wealth to be Christians – regardless of whether or not they're "Mormons"!! And, in stark contrast to Romney, that, is exactly what President Obama has consistently demonstrated from Day One in his presidency!!

It saddens me beyond words to see so very many Christians being consumed and manipulated with racism, bigotry and outright hatred for another Christian who is doing all he humanly can to be as good of a Christian as possible!! While completely ignoring the fact that his opponent is NOT a Christian and has consistently demonstrated from Day One that he is NOT holding to any Christian principles!!

Now, if anyone wishes to bring up abortion, let them! I would argue that while Obama has indeed been a pro-choice candidate all along, he has never once argued for any woman to have one, nor has he ever condoned it as being a method of "contraception"! And, most IMPORTANTLY, unlike Romney, Obama is NOT invested in ANY companies that actually PROFIT from abortion!!!! I believe that if President Obama's social policies are carried out it will actually do something constructively to dramatically reduce abortion, and that if Romney is elected his policies will in fact dramatically increase them!!

So, go ahead and support a disciple of Satan over a Christian! And good luck to you on Judgement Day when Christ himself asks you why you turned your back on those he commanded you to care for!!

BILLY Graham bible teaches that God said to have no other Gods besides him, The Mormons teach their are many gods and Jesus was among the many and the created spirit brother of Lucifer. The Christian bible also says do not add any more to their bible like the golden tablets and angel Moroni of the Mormon god.
Graham warned us for years this religion qualified as an end time false cult with an end time false prophet leading people to hell, now he is convinced the same man who follows this religions as the most important guide in his life by his own admission is going to save the nation.
If this is not a back flip into apostasy what qualifies. Unlike Obama, Romney was a Mormon Missionary and says his faith guides him. This is just so unreal that now Graham is looking to this man with hope guess he forgot all his Anti-Christ teachings & that he said Mormon Founder Joseph Smith with his golden tablets & angel Moroni was leading people to hell???

That word but means you just went against your own bible that says to not promote any other god or one who believes Jesus is a created brother of Lucifer. God said have no other gods and he put this as his first commandment even over all others, or did he?

Romney and Ryan don't represent christian values. How can they when they've consistently scapegoated the sick and the poor for our economy and demand that America turn it's back on them when they need us the most? How can you support a Mormon "stake leader" who's incredibly wealthy from the destruction of American's jobs and lives? How can any Christian support a man who made a career out of robbing worker's pensions and retirement funds in order to enrich himself and other already extremely wealthy "executives"? And, lastly, how can any Christian support a Mormon who hypocritically – through his investments – actually profits from A b o r t i o n s?

      October 26, 2012 at 8:04 pm |
    • Huhhh??

How in the world is it even possible for someone to say that Romney "comes closer to Christian principals than Obama"?
      1) Romney is filthy rich.
      2) Romney blames the poor for our economic problems – instead of pledging to help them.
      3) Romney pledges to abandon the sick and the poor – on day one.
      4) Romney got rich by swindling companies and stealing retirement funds.
      5) Romney is a hypocrite on all issues including abortion.
      6) Romney is an obvious and proven liar.
      7) Romney is a very influential (high ranking) member of his cult – which no Christian can say is a "Christian religion" as it claims.

To say Romney is more of a Christian or holds closer to Christian values than Obama is not only absurd, it is an outright and outlandish lie.

Vote for sanity! Vote for Obama/Biden 2012!!

Making and having money is not a sin. Loving it is. Their has been a lot of judgmental comments here. Be careful that we follow all of Christs teaching as Christians and one is not to judge. Give facts instead of just opinions. I can give many facts to the opposite of all of these claims. Did you watch the Republican convention where we had several stories of people who Mitt Romney cared for during his Lay ministry (unpaid). Compassionate stories of bringing dinner to a family in need on Thanksgiving that he cooked himself, helping a young boy in his teens in the hospital write his will. Countless hours of service each week he devoted to helping those around him. When you see his home movies of he and his wife and children, they don't look like an uncaring hateful family. They look like a completely normal loving family. He could have started his career 2 years earlier in his life, but instead he paid his own way to serve a mission where he taught the people of France every single day about the life and teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ. The same Jesus who was born of a Virgin Mary and grew up and taught in the temple at the age of 12. Who healed the sick and called 12 apostles to lead his church. Who performed many miracles including raising the dead. Who suffered in Gethsemane for our sins and who ultimately died on the cross and then was resurrected to free us from death. I know Jesus is my Savior. I hope we can be better Christians than this by not judging so harshly and looking for some good in all people. Mitt is not perfect. If you don't like his policies, don't vote for him, but don't kill him with your words.

IF frogs had wings they could fly. The issue is not if but the fact this man taught us for years Mormons changed their gospel and added onto their bible a heretical message and Mormons will never have a cross anywhere on or in their church unlike Graham's religion. This is just so weird that he has now given a green light to add credibility to a Mormon Missionary who says this same religion guides him. Billy Graham along with many Christians supporters of Romney have lost all credibility with this endorsement on what they has warned is false for years.

A cross represents to me the object that killed my Savior Jesus Christ. Rather I would like to look at Pictures of my Savior doing the good deeds he did while on this earth. These type of pictures fill the churches and homes of the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints. Again please don't judge something if you do not know why people do things. Facts and going to the source to ask questions are better than listening to or making judgments based on statements made from people who clearly do not like the mormons. Have any questions feel free to ask any mormon, they would be happy to answer.

  11. Envisioning You

Shouldn't we as Christians or Christian leaders pray to know the heart of Christ for the candidate/s to vote for during elections? should we vote by emotions or make decision by same? Would that not be acting contrary to the will of God? When a Christian leader affirms a candidate, you would want to think such affirmation is of the Holy Spirit, right? What if the candidate is not chosen of God (as seen in the case of Prophet Samuel choosing by sight)

"When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, "Surely the LORD's anointed stands here before the LORD." But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
    1 Samuel 16:6-7

Wouldn't that then be a case of preference and emotion? Shouldn't God's people be facing the wall and hearing from God at this moment? He alone is the one that put people in power or allow it.

Another question bothering me is this: Is this about religion or colour? Just thinking...

Leaders should not be partisan, but Holy Spirit conscious! God bless America.

    • Huhhh??

If you're a Christian I think you have to immediately realize that Romney, being so incredibly wealthy, is a hypocrite when he scapegoats the poor for the economy instead of calling out the Wall Street bankers (who are backing him!). And I think you have to wonder why he seems to have only animosity for the poor and the sick – instead of caring for them as Jesus allegedly taught. If you're a Christian I think there are literally dozens of moral reasons to not support him.

When it comes to Obama, who is in fact a Christian, I think Christians need to look at the larger picture and realize that Obama has done a great deal to focus on peace and in helping the poor and those who are less fortunate. I think that Christians need to think and consider who they really think Jesus would vote for if he could/would. In my opinion, I think J.C. would lecture Obama, but, I think he'd condemn Romney.

I belong to the same evangelical church organization as Sarah Palin, The Assemblies of God..
Our church has been very clear on the issue of Mormonism for as long as I can remember, and that position was firmly held that Mormons are not Christians. We're taught that they're worse than heretics and are doing the work of the devil.
Sarah Palin knows full well that she should NOT be speaking in support of ANY Mormon. She should be speaking out against them! As should Billy Graham and ever other Christian pastor!

But, no. Now that there's a Mormon Bishop running on the Republican ticket, we're being asked to put it all aside and support this man??!! This is dividing our church!! How can this sort of hypocrisy go unchallenged?? And how can our pastors turn their backs on a President who IS a Christian and ask us to support a man who believes he will be God?? Abortion?? Gay marriage?? Give Me A break!! No where in the Bible does it say ANYTHING about abortion, and yet this is the reason we should support a Mormon over a Christian?? And just how exactly does gay marriage effect my marriage?? It doesn't. So, how about everything Jesus teaches about caring for the sick and the poor??!! What about everything the Bible teaches us about rich men and greed??!! What about everything the Bible teaches us about lying??!! Are we to ignore these things as well??!! If so, then why believe in ANY of it??!! Where are our MORALS??!!

I will NOT support this hypocrisy! I will not support a blasphemer of God! And I will NOT support Mitt Romney!!

My pastor is doing the same thing!! I think it shows just how strong the temptations of the devil are!
My family and I are not voting for Romney either. And we're looking for a new church too!

Maybe people made judgments about mormonism before they really knew what it was. A lot of religions are taking a closer look and seeing it for what it is. The people who belong to this church are not heretical people. Many of them are actually great upstanding people who probably would not belong to a heretical church. People were afraid of mormonism. Now it is coming to light and people are understanding it more. Doesn't mean you have to believe it.

Graham's showed his true colors, he really doesn't care if your Christian or not. That was all distraction. It's about his real god, money. He has a long history of loving to hang with the rich and powerful and avoid the poor and marginalized. Just like Jesus, right? The Republican's marriage to religious conservatives is a mutual love of getting tax free dollars to promote each others' well being. There's a book "Crazy for God" that is about the history of the evolution of the relationship between religious conservatives and the republican party, who seemed to learn how to profit from their ability to mobilize votes and money. I seriously wonder if these politicians and mega-church leaders really believe what they preach. Its just opiates for the masses so we give up our personal power and money.

Billy Graham is a JUDAS, I wonder how much he sold Christ for. He is going to his grave a sad man. I can tell you that, going to church on Sunday was a very difficult task for me after reading what he had done. SHAME ON YOU M R. GRAHAM. GOD WILL NOT BE MOCKED, that is why your actions will send you straight to hell, for that's where a hypocrite and bigot goes. You have turned me off religion forever!!

MOST RELIGIONS AND RELIGIOUS LEADERS ARE BIAS. THEY ARE THE DIVIDING FORCES FOR THE HUMANITY. THE MINUTE ONE PROCLAIMS TO BE A CHRISTIAN, MUSLIM, JEW ETC THE DIVISION STARTS. THEN EACH HAVE THEIR OWN DEITY, A BOOK TO FOLLOW, CERTAIN MUST FOLLOW RITUALS. THEY ARE TOLD THAT DEITY, THEIR SCRIPTURES, THEIR WAY OF LIFE IS THE ONLY CORRECT WAY AND ALL OTHERS ARE SINNERS. HOW CAN THESE BRING HARMONY, PEACE, PROSPERITY TO HUMANITY. THE 'GODLY MAN' DO DEVILS WORK WITHOUT THEIR KNOWING ABOUT IT. VERY SAD THAT REV. GRAHAM CHOSE TO SIDE WITH PARTISAN THINKING.

Yes you are right. and another thing where is the seperation of church and state. graham has been able to build his costly retreat with tax free money. and his son has followed in his foot steps for the wealth. every thing these people have owned the true christians could not afford.

I think it's all about money. Romney has the support of billionaires and his cult has billions too..
It's so sad that so many Christians are supporting this terrible man, and it's scary too!

Billy doesn't want to get into that debate. The fact remains,Romney belong to a Cult group. However,we cannot imply and accuse Billy of selling out.I know Islam is evil but I don't want to discuss about it for now, anad until an appropriate time.

    October 22, 2012 at 3:34 pm |
    • Wow!

What's Islam got to do with this??
I'm a lifelong Republican. But, I HATE the racism and hate that is so prevalent in the party today!!!
If you don't have anything intelligent to say in support of the party, or your Mormon candidate, then don't say anything!! All your doing is driving people like me to vote for someone else!!!

"Mormons ...point to their belief in other scriptures like the Book of Mormon as the reason they split with other churches."

Nonsense. Joseph Smith, the founder of the LDS Church told of a vision he had while praying to determine "which of all these sects was right, that I might know which to join. I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abonination in his sight; that those Professors were all corrupt."

That is the reason for the split.

He needed to be the head of his club since that is the direction the money and power flow. There was no other reason to form the Mormon cult.

      October 22, 2012 at 7:24 pm |
    • Wow!

      "Split" LOL!!!
There was never any "split"!! He created that 'religion' out of thin air with plagiarism and b.s..!!
Another "lie for the Lord"??? You people make me sick. You're NOT Christians, you're satanists.
I refuse to support a Mormon in the White House!! My Christian beliefs will NOT allow it and I will NOT betray them.

I believe Billy Graham and his people have sold out . The Bible says even the elect will be fooled by the antichrist .
I beleive Mr. Obama is a Christian look at the fruit of his labor . He´s out to help the poor and the elderly and the sick .
Mr. romney is out to help the rich at the expense of everybody else . Mormans are not Christians by no means and I as a
reborn Christian will not vote for him and his Mormon beoiefs they believe that satan was the brother of Jesus and that
black people are fallen angels . To those who think I´m trying to decieve or lie please GOOGLE it . Why should I lie ?
I beleive Mr. Obama is a Christian , maybe not the best Christian but I take him at his word . He doesn´t wear it on his
shoulders like these " T.V. Pulpit Pimps " like john hagee or the many you´ll find on T.V. . It seems like people forget that
Christians are not the only people in the U.S. Mr. Obama has to be a president to every American .

I believe President Obama is a Christian too! And I think the only way to end abortions (and crime! and drug use!) is to end poverty. We can't just make it illegal, it won't stop them. People will still find ways to do it, just like they do in places where it is prohibited. The only way to approach this issue is by looking at the 'big picture' and tackling the root causes! And that's what Obama has been doing with his domestic policies that don't abandon the sick and the poor and the middleclass.
I'm a Christian who voted for Bush twice and John McCain, but I'm voting for Obama this time. The Republican party is just too far to the right.

@Anne, I could not agree with you more. The Right has gone WAY too far Right and one only need look at the down ballot to see it. Last night that Murdaugh senate candidate called pregnancy by ra pe something that god would have supported. This is just another case of how far the Right is leaning these days. No, you are right, only Obama has a plan to support the 100 percent of us, and his plan will get us back on track. I also believe that Hillary will run in 2016 and keep the vision alive for at least eight more years after Obama.

David I don´t have to lie . I am no deciever google it if you don´t believe me . What would i have to gain by lying ? If
you´re to young to know what googling is then ask a older person but to flat out accuse me of lying makes you
a very ignorant person . Anybody no matter how unintelligent to believe the things that Mormons can still GOOGLE .
