Pope Benedict sends first personal tweet

By Laura Smith-Spark, CNN

(CNN) - The wait is over for Pope Benedict XVI's many Twitter followers, and they have been quick to respond to the much anticipated first tweet from his personal account Wednesday morning.

Using the handle @Pontifex - meaning "bridge builder" in Latin - he posted: "Dear friends, I am pleased to get in touch with you through Twitter. Thank you for your generous response. I bless all of you from my heart."

A flood of tweets expressing joy, admiration, antagonism and skepticism followed from the Twitterverse, not to mention a fair few jokes.

By the way Satan's mission is to keeps to you away from the Word of God by any means neccessary. Religion is taking souls away from the word of the Lord. God is not the author of confusion? Do not buy or sell the truth, the truth sets one free. *Daniel 9:7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; *2nd Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they may be saved.

Hello, I am a highschool student and i was asked to do a research paper on a religion. I picked the Roman Catholic Church, now im not a member and one of the requirements was to obtain information via interviews and was wondering if you guys could help me out. Now i know that some of these questions could bring up a very long and complicated answer which i wouldnt mind personally but for the sake of my paper i would appreciate if you could make short and to the point answers.

1 Who do you believe God is?

    2. Who do you believe Jesus is?

    3. Where do you go for information on how to live your religion?
    What is your sacred writing?

    4. what do you believe happens after you die?

    5. What do you believe about hell?

    6. Do you believe in Salvation?
    How do you obtain it?

    7. What do you believe about an invisible spirit world?
    How about the supernatural?

8 do you believe in an organized church?
    Who is the head?
Does your church have any human figureheads it follows?

    9. Does your church have any special rite, rituals, or sacraments that they use?

    10. what world view does your religion hold?

The more they erase the truth, things will become even worse. (Hebrews 7:2) The Most High speaks through scriptures, his Word. Satan speaks through voices, visions and dreams. Who art thou?

Are you tired yet of chasing the world, to become an enemy of God? *Genesis 18:23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? *Malachi 3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. *Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. *Psalm 81:15 The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him: (Revelation 17:17)

Those who give ten percent to all the churches, are providing Satan's lair legions with peace, safety, pride and prosperity to destroy all the holy people. (*Daniel 8:23-26) The king of Salem is witchcraft, pure evilness. *Hebrews 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; *Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger. *2nd Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; (*Genesis 18:32*)

Too little, too late as all the tweets in the world will not put B16's church back together again.

    Some 21st century observations: -->>>>

Only for the new members of this blog:

JC's family and friends had it right 2000 years ago ( Mark 3: 21 "And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.")

Said passage is one of the few judged to be authentic by most contemporary NT scholars. e.g. See Professor Ludemann's conclusion in his book, Jesus After 2000 Years, p. 24 and p. 694.

Actually, Jesus was a bit "touched". After all he thought he spoke to Satan, thought he changed water into wine, thought he raised Lazarus from the dead etc. In today's world, said Jesus would be declared legally insane.

Or did P, M, M, L and J simply make him into a first century magic-man via their epistles and gospels of semi-fiction? Many contemporary NT experts after thorough analyses of all the scriptures go with the latter magic-man conclusion with J's gospel being mostly fiction.

Obviously, today's followers of Paul et al's "magic-man" are also a bit on the odd side believing in all the Christian mumbo jumbo about bodies resurrecting, and exorcisms, and miracles, and "magic-man atonement, and infallible, old, European/Utah white men, and 24/7 body/blood sacrifices followed by consumption of said sacrifices. Yummy!!!!

So why do we really care what a first century CE, illiterate, long-dead, preacher/magic man or B16 would tweet, do or say?

Ask Nasa about *Isaiah 47:13-14 no man has the heart to, because they need a new heart themselves. The world is transforming itself, but from what? What ever happened to meekness, is it against the law? (Numbers 12:3)

Judge righteously is key! *1st Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? *John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. *Isaiah 1:23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

Acts 8:26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. Matthew 24:26 Where if they shall say unto, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: *Deuteronomy 32:10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. *Luke 19:31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. *Revelation 20:3 And after that he must be loosed a little season.
