CNN: 5 takeaways from new Pew survey on global religion
The world is religiously diverse and overwhelmingly faithful, according to a study released Tuesday by The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life. The study, which is a snapshot of world religions in 2010 and does not show trends, brings to light a unique religious landscape that's defined by a burgeoning Islam, a shifting Christianity and a large group of religiously unaffiliated. It took Pew three years to compile. Here are five big takeaways from the study.

Muslim leaders have demanded the same legal exemptions as the Church of England in legislation to introduce gay marriages. The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), with more than 500 affiliated mosques, charities and schools, said it was "appalled" by "utterly discriminatory" legislation on same-sex marriage set out by the government. The proposals would allow faith groups to conduct gay marriages but would ban the Church of England and the Church in Wales from doing so.
The Guardian: Ireland to legalize abortions where woman's life is at risk
In a move unthinkable even a few years ago, the Irish government is to introduce legislation permitting abortions in limited circumstances. The decision follows pressure from the European court of human rights, which ruled that abortions should be allowed in the republic in cases where a woman's life was at risk. The taoiseach, Enda Kenny, who represents one of the most traditional rural Catholic constituencies in Ireland, said the Fine Gael-Labour coalition would proceed with a mixture of "legislation with regulation".

The Universally-Formed Multiple Cosmos of the Living Triune Cosmological Manifestation of Being
We all live amid two chasms of cosmological orders. We have the inner-cosmos and the outer-cosmos. The inner-cosmos is atomically made and is the universal construct of the outer-cosmos. One could not have an outer cosmos without there being an inner cosmos. Both are synonymously of the same natures. It stands to reason the inner-cosmos was made first and the outer-cosmos came into being only after the passive finalization of the inner-cosmos was made near complete. The inner-cosmos is transcendent and fixed while the outer-cosmos is ascendant and malleable in their dualities nurturing natures.
The third cosmos is of life itself made from the inner-cosmos living upon the terrestrial planetary faces of the celestial outer-cosmos. This third cosmos is the celled cosmos or the cellular cosmologic orders duly ordained of and by and even for all life forms to be made anywhere cellular life can gain a foothold to evolve and gain in the abundant natures toward the evolution of its structures ever evolving in base pairings. Without the two main Cosmos coming into existence; all living cellular cosmologies in the celestial confines could not ever exist.
The trinity or threefold nature of chasm cosmologies is being one of the greatest and grandest gestures ever to have been formulated! To say God had nothing to do with such a feat of cosmologic inter-dependencies seems to me, an infallible congruency inconsistent for one to say or think otherwise. To say the nature of God is to keep inflating the physical elements of the outer cosmos while deflating the essence needs for the inner-cosmos leaves one to wonder about the third cosmological construct’s real nature for having been created. Why then are there cellular cosmos of living cosmologies and when did such celled cosmologic life become established?
The history of multifaceted cosmological expansionism within celestial symmetries comes from the terrestrial complacencies of planetary regularities and solarized objectivism wherever the abundance of inner cosmologies coalesces to form stars, planets and moons among many other fragmented structures within the spatial confines of a universally formed Cosmos.

I have described the ‘spiritual’ as being ‘nothingness’. For the grand seas of nothingness or outer space is in holdings sakes, all the physical celestial manners of galactic nebulas being forever held in terminus or in the ending places; of the physicality’s knowable Universalist Cosmos. The Holy Spirit of God is the grand seas of nothingness. Our spirituality lies as being our body’s overall nothingness. There is nothing physical of nothingness’s being. Spiritual nothingness can only make sense in being the holder of all physical domains to forever be the caretaker of all physicality; be these physicality’s great in size or of the very smallest in incremental size.
Our being ‘born again’ lies with our spirit which is sheered nothingness. When our physical bodies die, our sheered nothingness or our souls or spirits are re-entered into a physical essence deeply within the confines of our inner-cosmos or the atomic cosmology. For example should I die, my body is no longer useful to God’s families who live inside us and in unknowable ways does God’s families inside us flee our dead bodies and they take with them all the needful treasures in order to make their journeys across the great voids as safe a journey as possible.
Our body’s physical essence goes with them on their journey via their needs sakes. We or our physical-ness are their mechanisms and machinery. For of nothingness do not all mechanisms inadvertently rely upon the innerness beings of the Gods and Goddesses who live upon the extreme smallness of all living embolisms of the celestially great megaliths of the living omnipotent varieties abundances? We are all mono-deistic megaliths in machined greatness and in machined mechanisms do the sons and daughters of God live their days upon our megalithic structures!

I'm torn between nothingness being the spiritual essences and biogenesis in the mechanical varieties of all things cellular and even of all things celestial. Science has proved our bodies to be made of microscopic mechanisms therefore are we nothing more than megalithic mechanical structures living our life upon a structure, (earth) that itself is part of a larger machined organism we call the cosmos?

I will have to admit that I know very little about space, while there is stuff out there it is thought to be mostly nothing, or better yet undefined. I think I would come closer to calling the holy spirit energy, rather than nothing. By describing our spirit as sheered nothingness are you saying it is taking up space in space, so then again physical?
Also, I noticed you didn’t comment on “you are of your father the devil”. I think you are saying that God is in everything living, or at least all people, which does seem to contradict what I understand the word of God says. For example, Jesus described himself as the true vine, we are the branches, he abides in us and we in him. He wasn’t talking about all humans, he was talking about believers. John 15.

Is not Christ Jesus the bright and morning star which can be deduced to be our sun for it is the only star to be seen come morning time when the sun does block out the darkness?
I love to be imaginable and do ever consider many dreams about God and the kingdom domains of God being all inside every conceivable life and life form known and knowable to us and our anthropomorphology in Godliness ideals. No one is ever alone even though one may not have someone to share their feelings and views and perspectives with for in God are all things made while of God are all things made manifest and by God do all things gather in their likenesses and for God were all things created to ever be and become for God's pleasantries and God's pains and God's anger and God's hurts for God is not without feelings! My saying 'sheered' nothingness relates to a lamb being sheered of its wool. Our spirit is sheered from the grand seas of nothingness in much the same way even though it can never be for nothingness travails from cosmologies outer extremities to the atomic cloisters inner extremities. Nothingness is a vast emptiness being as a body holding together all matter from the very largest to the very smallest and this 'energy' you speak of is not a nothingness but is a physicality therefore is not of nothingness.
Our manifestation of being is within a section of but one cosmos inside a universe being inside a nebula within a galaxy placed inside a solar system. Matter is finite and space is infinite.

I believe in the power of random acts of kindness to change things around me.
They don't have to be grand gestures. They can be small things:
1)Know a parent of a young child? Volunteer to take the child Christmas shopping. This gives that parent a chance to do their own Christmas shopping, helps teach the child about spending money (I usually give them a $ limit and help them understand how to spend it), and lets them pick out a present for their parent that their parent will be surprised with come Christmas morning.
2) Pay for the person behind you at lunch at the drive thru window/
3) Brush the snow off the windows of your neighbors car
4) Hold the door
5) Stop for a minute and talk to someone.
6) Knock on a neighbor's door. Just to say hello.
7) Take a plate of cookies or other treats to your local police station/fire station/homeless shelter
8) Send someone an actual letter in the actual mail. Bonus if you send it to someone who is elderly and alone.
9) Call someone
10) Smile.
What other random acts can you think of that would brighten someone's day?
Say "Thank you" to the volunteers directing traffic at your kids school.
Give generously to the people standing outside at the grocery store for the Salvation Army.
I don't give to the Salvation Army because I disagree with their discrimination against LGBT folks.
I do give, just not to people who I know discriminate.
I agree with saying Thank you, not just to those volunteers either, but to cashiers and food service workers. They have thankless jobs.
1. I give to my brother his needed things of needfulness without much displeasure in order for us to remain as sane as is possible.
2. I give to my brother's two children gifts come Christmas time and also to my brother's now three grandchildren.
3. I have nothing more to give then give to my flesh and blood for nothing else is more relevant then one's flesh and blood.
Unfortuneately, most of those acts of kindness would get you shot in our "civilized" America.
It is every man for himself, and nice guys finish last.
Sad, but true.
1. Poor people cannot do this without money and time.
2. Poor people cannot do this either, as it requires a vehicle as well as money and time.
3. Trespassing against your neighbor and touching their private property is illegal.
4. I do this all the time.
5. Creepy strangers wanting to talk is not something most people are going to want to "enjoy".
6. If you knock on a neighbor's door, you'd better have a damn good reason for doing so.
7. I throw any food given to me by strangers right into the damn garbage. What a retarded idea as well as dangerous.
8. Sending a letter to a random stranger is as creepy as accosting them on the sidewalk. What is wrong with you?
9. Yeah, we'll call the mental ward to send a few orderlies your way with some fun clothes that buckle on firmly.
10. Smiling is easy enough if you are not suffering as so many are doing these days.
If I want to brighten someone's day, I let the sun come up on its own. I am not responsible for the quality of other's lives as this has essentially been stolen from me by the rich and powerful. Go kiss their asses and see if they will brighten your day.
1) You might be surprised. I often did this when I was fairly poor for other similarly financially distressed parents. If nothing else, you can take the kids for an afternoon of arts & crafts and make presents.
2) Obviously, I meant this for those with money and means.
3) I doubt anyone is going to have you arrested for brushing the snow off their car windows.
4) Good. Smile while you do that.
5) Again, you might be surprised. In this world of impersonal electronic communication we are all craving human contact. You also have to judge the situation and reaction to your first words.
6) I often knock on a neighbor's door just to say hi, check in on them, especially if I haven't seen them out and about in a while, though I do tend to concentrate this on older folks in the neighborhood.
7) How is giving a plate of cookies that I've made myself to someone doing me a service a dangerous thing?
8) Did I say anything about a stranger? How about your mom? Your grandmother? A cousin you haven't seen in a while? Someone you went to school with?
9) Do you never talk to anyone aside from on message boards? Never call a friend just to say "Hey"?
10) Yeah, some days smiling can be tough. I get that. Sometimes though, it makes you feel better. And it gets that other person to smile most of the time, making them feel better.
Little things can make a big difference. I'm sorry if you can't see that.

Akira, I am not responsible for the quality of life you experience as you perceive it. If I had a say in how this country and world is run, I would feel it my responsibility to do the best I could to enhance the positive aspects of living in this corrupt world of madness for as many people as possible in reasonable and rational ways.
You misread what I said.
I cannot brighten your day as I have no way of doing so. I cannot enhance your perceptions of your life experiences except at a distance that is more likely to destroy my efforts than to strengthen them.
I do little kindnesses for people according to the situation. I do not necessarily brighten their day whether by EM radiation or by psycho-social interaction, as my intent is not guaranteed accurate expression nor is anyone's positive response a guaranteed thing.
The vast majority of people I encounter are just like me, poor, disenfranchised, oppressed, unhealthy, and just trying to make it through another day without any major problems. There is nothing I can do for them, not even smile although I do try to remain minimally pleasant and polite. These are minimalist "kindnesses" that can barely be labeled such.
Also, I cannot control how they react to anything I do, say, or my appearance, so I cannot simply "brighten" their day simply by wishing it were so or by any action I may take. Their reactions are dependent upon their brains.
With me so far or shall I just give up trying to educate you on the realities of existence as a human being?
Correction: I do smile. But often it seems rare that I am even in a situation where a smile can be given. I've been smiling a little more lately, as I enjoy seeing smiles in return, but all too often I am lost in thought and do not consider the emotional needs of those around me, and so fail to take the time to be "sociable". But that's just me and a lot of other people. I do not hold it against them if their burdens weigh them down so that we cannot interact, for often I am the one being weighed down.
I worry about people. If that were a marketable skill I'd be raking in the bucks. Too bad it's the other way 'round these days.
I think just being polite and having patience with the people we meet throughout life means a lot to them. I see too many angry/impatient people lashing out in stores, on the roads, sometimes at work even. Politeness does include smiling at people and holding doors.
As far as knocking on a neighbours door unrequested it is not something I would do. I certainly do not want them knocking on my door. Not all of us want or need human contect either.
Have the vesper pottages of amassed humanisms become complacently illiterate nowadays? Where then do the root-commodities of religious socialisms truly matter and riotous societal materialization become manifested and made ultra-scalar upon the divested spatterings of virtual values regarding irrationalized size-metric conditional causations?
I do shudder in the crowds' revolting laments, for of crowned crowded bitter sarcasms does lay the tutors of sarcastic indemnifications coverings’ offering plates leaves no more found lucid changings around the fruited generosities in the lividness's racial trees of multi-faceted societal generalists.

Our bodies' spiritual nothingness holds all our atomized cellular structures within its deepened chasms of sheered nothing. In our death does God's Holy Spirit receive our bodies eternal nothingness back into its folding lengths of disparaged nothingness to be given or to be reborn back into the deepened realms of the atomic cloisters of inner cosmology where we are washed clean of this life's memories and given a new and better life to be lived out among the cloistering affairs of atomic configurations.

its funny because historic evidence did too! since no evidence exists to lead one to believe jesus was ever real must should logically conclude that he never did. however on the contrast the stars existed once and we came from their death. the stars that exist now are for the creatures of another time era. when these current stars explode or implode and take us with them they will also be giving birth. see the act of death for stars also creates new celestial satellites! we live on a celestial satellite and because of our distance from our home star we do not freeze to death or burn and boil during the day. you would have me believe that a creature created all of this for us. i say we are the evolution of a cosmic fluke and to believe we are it is placing more importance and self glorifying one species out millions not to mention the trillions of stars that we know exist. for every star that exists exists the possibility of celestial satellites orbiting them and celestial satellites orbiting the celestial satellites orbiting the star. whether they be land based with a solid or simi solid core or they are gas spheres who knows. to believe in a god that created this world alone is arrogant, but to think it wasn't only created but created for us – simply stupefying!
we are the product of stars and their deaths! be thankful to that! at least this can be proven!!!
