Author Lorna Byrne: I see angelsBy Stephen Walsh, CNN Are there really angels among us? Lorna Byrne claims she’s been able to see angels since she was a child. The Irish-born author of the international best-seller “Angels in My Hair” says guardian angels watch over believers and nonbelievers alike all the time. So what exactly is an angel? The word angel is derived from the Greek angelos, which means "messenger." The Hebrew word malak has the same meaning. Christian theology teaches that angels are pure spirits created by God who carry out his will on Earth. Byrne told CNN’s Dana Bash that she sees a multitude of angels that only appear around Christmastime. Watch the video to hear her describe what they look like and hear her advice to skeptics. I never stated that I have evidence that they exist. This lady believes has evidence enough to prove to herself and no one else that they exist. Therefore she makes the statements she does. To make my point, however, you have no evidence that your feelings exist yet I believe you would argue they do. Just because there is no evidence that angels do exist does not necessarily say they do not. Further, you must accept the possibility that either scenario is plausible until you have evidence, otherwise your logical argument is invalid.

The burden is on you. If someone sees angels, they are spiritual. If someone sees pink rabbits, then they are crazy. Isn't it funny that when God tells a person to do something rational, everyone considers it the truth and the person completely sane, but when God tells a person to do something irrational then the person has mental health issues. Since I made no claim that angels exist, I have no burden of proof. I simply stated that the author of the original statement did not prove his statement. I made an illusion to the fact that there are other things that obviously exist without evidence to others and asked for him to prove his point. In philosophical arguments the onus of proof rests on he who makes an assertion. Your arguments fall flat.

In order to have "faith", you must let go of reason.
The accounts in the bible are fictional stories, many of them have been proven wrong. Noahs ark, David and Goliath, Jonah and the whale. etc, etc.
One must make a leap of faith (which is to let go of the fact that claims make no sense, and just believe) in order to believe the bible.
You cannot rationally argue your point when you have had to let go of reason and rational in order to have "faith".

The proof has been out there for a long time.
Start with the fact that no human could have lived as long as it took to create the boat.
Second. The dimensions of the ship could never accomodate ALL of the species that exist.
Third. There would be insufficient food and water for all occupants.
Fourth. If the earth flooded to above the peak of mount everest, The occupants of the boat would freeze to death, and the ship would be frozen in ice.
Fifth. The volume of water it would take to flood the earth to that level is greater than the volume of water on earth.
Sixth How did all of the creatures that were on islands, and were landlocked so that they could not get to where the ark was, get to the departure location.
Seventh. Flooding of the earth would have killed nearly all of the vegetation on earth. How did all of the plants survive (It would take 10 arks just to contain the seeds of all the plants in the world.
I can go on but my final point is again....You must let go of reason in order to believe these rediculous stories.

The thing is, she doesn't have a proof to give it to you. But she testifies about what she is convinced of, because the proof was given to her.
