Petraeus' mistress Broadwell: I'm looking forward with faith

By Kevin Liptak, CNN

(CNN)–After weathering a political and personal scandal that made her the subject of glaring media scrutiny, Paula Broadwell says she's ready to move forward.

The former Army reservist who became romantically involved with Gen. David Petraeus while penning his biography, and was later accused of sending threatening e-mails to another woman, Broadwell told a local television station in Charlotte she's returning to the faith-based environment of her childhood.

"I grew up in a strong faith-based family," Broadwell told News 14 Carolina-Charlotte. "I think I have selected to return to those roots for strength, for my family, for myself and to protect our children and to forgive others and move on and face forward."

She was speaking after attending a YMCA-sponsored prayer breakfast in Charlotte, which she said had "touched her heart."

"I've made some mistakes in the past but I'm trying to look forward with my family," she said.

DNA will prove how stupid atheism is. Atheism is stupidity in Full bloom and you're a prime example of that.

    • His panic

I think that beside being stupid he is in a state of Panic, I even I could be his Panic. Animals do panic like people but those who trust in God and in Jesus Christ God's only Son will not panic. All others will panic as indeed they have Panic in the past and are panicking in the present. Panic has been the cause for many riots and probably all stampedes. People sometimes have gone in panic stampedes like animals, but those who trusted God and Jesus Christ God's only Son did not panic.

Oh look another example of the moral majority. She said "I grew up in a strong faith-based family".
And what did she learn from her family? Obviously not the fact that sleeping with a married man is a pretty crappy thing to do.

  5. His panic

hum, my posts are awaiting "moderation" whatever that means. It looks like CNN may be in a state of Panic, she may be in a state of hysteria. One thing I know for sure I'm not her panic. The reason behind her anxiety and near hysteria must be the same reason behind the stampedes and riots caused by Panic. Those who trust in God and in Jesus Christ will not panic, all others will Panic.

Ancient Earth Crust Stored in Deep Mantle

Apr. 24, 2013 — Scientists have long believed that lava erupted from certain oceanic volcanoes contains materials from the early Earth's crust. But decisive evidence for this phenomenon has proven elusive. New research from a team including Carnegie's Erik Hauri demonstrates that oceanic volcanic rocks contain samples of recycled crust dating back to the Archean era 2.5 billion years ago. Their work is published in Nature.

Maybe they should not have created the wedge !!!

The wedge strategy is a political and social action plan authored by the Discovery Insti-tute, the hub of the intelligent design movement. The strategy was put forth in a Discovery Insti-tute manifesto known as the Wedge Docu-ment,[1] which describes a broad social, political, and academic agenda whose ultimate goal is to defeat materialism, naturalism, evolution, and "reverse the stifling materialist world view and replace it with a science consonant with Christian and theistic
    convictions.

She can't move forward until she has dealt with the past. Redemption comes only after Confession, and she has not even begun to eat enough crow. She has admitted making mistakes, but has not accepted any guilt for her adultery and cheating on her husband. The only thing she's done so far is demonstrate false humility, and a poor imitation of it at that. Her lover, David Petraeus, took the correct first step by voluntarily coming forward to publicly admit what the two of them did. Now it's her turn to "man up" and follow his example. And what does she mean by "meaningful work?" If she means something in government or national service ... that ain't gonna happen. She might do well as a Receptionist in an office where there are no married men employed.

Wasn't Patraeus the married one? Wasn't Patraeus the one with the high-ranking government job?

    for richer, for poorer,
    in sickness and in health,

according to God's holy law, in the presence of God I make this vow.

Tell that to Pat Robertson who told a cheating man that it was OK to divorce his senile wife and marry his mistress. So much for "in sickness and in health", eh?

Slts and whores are derogatory terms for women. What is it the man doing it?

Divorce the woman, get custody of the kids, and get counseling. Hatred doesn't do your kids any good.

Nothing wrong with it when it's "adultery" as opposed to "childtery" or "animaltery" as consenting "adults" are allowed to make decisions for themselves.
