I have become comfortably nunned.

Being born with the right kind of sinuses has nothing to do with god or being a nun as god does not exist and the nun would be better off without all the mythical religious hype in her life.
"Get off my lawn!"
Nun Cristina could have chosen better songs to show case her voice range... from her current song choices, it's not clear as to which genre she fits in well ?!
What does this have to do with beliefs?
It's a nice story.
Good grief.
She is ok for the shower, but some voice lessons would help her a great deal. Her technique is poor. As a professional she would lose her voice after 3 or 4 concerts or musicals.
Every party has a pooper.
I agree with dentist.
Someone has to drive the pooper home, I suppose.
I wouldn't pay a dime to see her perform but I am happy for her.
Thank you for your participation, your opinion is duly noted.
Likewise.
Oh wow, good for her, she deserves it.
I saw a clip of her early in the competition singing an Alicia Keys' song, she was amazing. Maybe she should hook up with Christina Aguilera's counterpart for a record deal or something.
Congrats.
She might wanna hook up with Judy Collins, Amy Grant, Shannon Wexelberg, etc., as well.
I can't resist this one, she might wanna take "Madonna" as a stage name, that would be very symbolic.
Good for her.
"She reserved her final thanks ‘’for the one up there,” and insisted on reciting the Lord’s Prayer after winning, inviting the studio audience and a skeptical panel of judges to join her."
=>A thankful heart even for non believers makes this world just a little better.
Are you saying Sister Cristina is a non-believer??
no, the skeptical panel of judges
Ah. I see. I doubt they judged her on the basis of her faith, anyhow.
Did she sing "Dominique"?
Congratulations, Sister.
Funny.
I'd post a video of Debbie Reynolds doing just that if it didn't make me cringe and shudder.
And I thank you for your restraint.
You are most welcome.
For a minute there, I misread that as Debbie Harry and was both curious and horrified.
Well, Debbie Harry does sing "Rapture"...
This was a beautiful exchange. Thank you for a good laugh.
One way or another, Debbie Harry in a Nun's habit would veer toward the intentionally ironic much more than any reference to La Sœur Sourire.
Good for her.
Congratulations Sister Cristina Scuccia.
